I would really recommend this hotel for their lovely hospitality. The staff are amazing and made everything easy for us as it was our first time in Istanbul. Especially Yakup who helped us in many trips and even where to shop. Also is so close to the blue mosque which was amazing site. Mariem and Ahmed
Stayed 4 nights with family in standard double room. Staff friendly and helpful. Toilets & shower clean but inside the room with only glass partition (weird design) but practical. Breakfast good with variety of local dishes and breads. Location is excellent in sultanahmet area between two metro stations. Within 5 minutes walking distance to Aya Sofia, topkapi castle and the blue mosque. Tons of restaurants and shops at the door step. Definitely recommended and Will stay again over here.
Thoughly loved my stay here breakfast was very good not sure who wants to eat chips at 0730 in the morning the reception desk staff were always friendly and so was everyone in the hotel. negatives mini bar prices very pricey 14 lira for a red bull.the rooms were cleaned everyday hotel very nicely decorated would definitely recommend Pierre lotto thank you for a really lovely stay
The hotel was chosen for its close proximity to many of Istanbul’s amazing attractions. Price was also a factor, so the two factors combined meant that we had a really enjoyable experience. The room was nicely decorated and cleaned daily by a lovely lady. There could have been a bit more drawer space but this is Really the only negative comment I can make about the room. We overlooked the Main Street and the restaurant. Had a meal in the rooftop restaurant, wide choice of menu and a must to try is the chocolate fondant...divine. Breakfast in the restaurant provided us with a large choice of food items, from cereals to cold meats, cheeses and hot foods. A very big thank you to the manager and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant. Everyone was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.
The location is the reason I went to this hotel, the front office/desk staff is the reason I stayed a week and the poor service and very low end food in the restaurants is the reason I will avoid staying at this hotel in the future. I cannot say enough about the excellent service by the staff and how they go the extra mile to make us comfortable. It is really a huge shame that their efforts which is worth a 10 has to be overshadowed by the poor overall service in the restaurants.
We had a wonderful time in Istanbul seeing all the sights. We would like to say a big Thank You to Ercan and his team at The Pierre Loti Hotel they were all so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us, it was the icing on the cake in fact it was my sons partners birthday and they really did make his birthday amazing from a delicious birthday cake to rose petals on the bed and floor, a birthday to truly remember our special time in Istanbul. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great really enjoyed all the variety each day there was something different. The roof top bar has the most fantastic views of Istanbul. We had such a fantastic time, on our last day we all felt sad we didn’t want our holiday to be over. Can’t wait to come back and stay again at this hotel, we are looking forward to seeing Ercan and his lovely team very soon (I hope)
First of all, location could not be any better. Most important sights like Aya Sofia, Blue mosque, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar are 5-10 minutes away ( on foot, of course😉). Tram is just in front and the line T1 takes you directly to Galata bridge and terminus is near Dolmebahçe palace. Food is very good, maybe could be a bit better, i.e. better juice for breakfast. Rooms are bit small, but if you do not intend to spend a lot of time inside it shoudn't be a problem. Everything is clean and room service is excellent. My room had a view on Constatine's column ( Çemberlitas ) so it was a great thing to wake up in the morning, open a curtain and have a look at piece of history almost 1700 years old😊.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was fabulous. Firstly, the hotel manager was very helpful & accommodating - recommending places to visit & eat. He also allowed us to move to a much bigger room after the first night, and extended our checkout for free. Secondly, the breakfast was amazing. Hot food including eggs and beef bacon, as well as loads of cheeses and meats. It’s a shame there wasn’t a better selection of fresh fruit, that was genuinely the only downside to the breakfast. Finally, the location is perfect for the main sites and tourist attractions. Very much in walking distance of Hagia Sofia, blue mosque, cisterns etc. *the only downside (but not reflected in the score as this is not the fault of he hotel)* it was very noisy. They love to beep their horn all night, plus you can hear the banging of their Turkish ice cream vendors. So get s room on the quiet side or shut the windows and turn on the AC
I would like to say a massive thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Everything we asked for we recieved. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Lady who cleaned the rooms was very sweet and we thank her for her hospitality. Breakfast service was immaculate and well served. Breakfast staff were great. An overall superb experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was back in Istanbul once again and again stayed here. I have stayed in other 5* hotels in Istanbul but I find this hotel by far the best, it has just about everything. Wonderful staff, a special thank you to them especially in reception where they were very helpful with directions/ information and any queries we had, a wonderful team headed by a lovely manager. Wonderful Location 5 minutes walking to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Cisterns and the Grand Bazaar and the tramstop is a few minutes from the door if you wish to go further. Free Wifi, a very nice breakfast, good service and food in the Loti Cafe.Spectacular views from the rooftop bar. - what more could you want? All in all a great stay in a great hotel and hopefully I will be back again very soon
