I choose this hotel simply because its location, close to main attraction of Sultanahmet area, easy accessible to public transport, walking distance to the grand bazaar etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (ground floor) has excellent choice. Too bad , because I really thought that during the stay we could have the breakfast at the roof top restaurant.

Thanks for a nice stay and a very big thank you to Brother Idris for his amazing customer service skills at the reception. Jazakallah. :) and also to the rest of the staff members. You were very helpful.

We searched for a few days to find a hotel that would tick most of the boxes for a long weekend break to Istanbul, this hotel was our final choice. We booked for four nights and got back this morning. Our room was exactly as expected, small with seperate cubicle shower and toilet and the wash basin on a marble counter in the bedroom. Tea, coffee, fridge safe we all included and the standard of cleanliness in the room was good. The corridors and stairs did need a good clean but the restaurant is what really lets the hotel down. I have sent a seperate detailed email to the hotel with the issues we had, but I will say for the price its good value. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking to enjoy a nice breakfast, but if its purely because of the location then book and have breakfast elsewhere which is what we did after day two. Staff were all pleasant and wanted to please, however I would recommend whoever is responsible for the restaurant to have a read of my email and put some simple hygeine practises into place and the hotel should follow up and make sure they are actually being done. Disappointed....

Well we had a choice of hundreds, but we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel than this. You can literally walk to all the main attractions from this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. It has a wonderful cafe at the front of the hotel with excellent food and a great people watching spot. The bonus is the rooftop restaurant with the same menu but with views to die for. It also has one of the best classical guitarists playing live music. Would highly recommend Pierre Lotti, it is a gem!

The location is absolutely perfect - could not fault this at all Right by the metro, a stone's throw from the grand bazaar, literally dozens of eateries on your doorstep - didn't eat at the café however. The room layout of the one we stayed in was... weird. Shower cubicle next to a toilet cubicle (and that's it, just the throne) and then you step into the main room which is marble floored outside the two cubicles and the handbasin is opposite you...so either leave the door open when you use the facilities or contaminate everything. Not nice Would stay again but maybe in a larger suite which may or may not have a different layout - purely for the location. Rooms were otherwise clean

This was my fourth visit to this hotel over a few years and I would still highly reccomend it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms although small are very clean and well maintained. The location is superb, a few minutes from all the main tourist sites and a few steps from the tram stop if you wish to go further afield. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. My only negative would be the breakfast, oh how I used to look forward to that but sadly now it has gone downhill, no more chef cooking omletes or crepes, no more fresh orange juice, no more cornflakes I think the breakfast must be focused on a differnt clientele than before. I would be prepared to pay a bit extra to go back to the good days!! Thanks once again to all the staff who make this hotel great and one to which I will hope to return to in the near future.

After a long trip we got there my mother and I to celebrate her 84 birthday, her life long dream of her. I decided on Pierre Loti after surching thru many hotels, I liked the reviews and the pictures of Perrer Loti so I decided to make the reservations and asked for a nice room as the pictures shows. I called the hotel several times to make sure that everything was exactly the way I recuested since these was my mothers birthday gift and I wanted to be perfect. We arrived early evening, checked in at the front desk, the men who took care of us wasn't very friendly but I was tire and I really didn't care I just wanted to get to the room. The yung boy/ man who I can remember his mane (very nice man) took us to our room but to my disapoitment the room was exactly the oposite of what I did want. It was very small, dark, old, durty, no space no storage. I asked to be moved to the type of room that I have recuested and I was asure that I wll get everytime I call them. The man at the reception did nothing to make me feel better in the contrarie, he just make me even more upset the way he talked to me. the young boy said no to worried that he was to talk to him and maybe the next day when the manager was in he could help me. So I did what he asked of me waited until the next day even tho the sorprise wasn't as plant for my mother. The next norning I met the manager, WHAT A DIFERENCE!! he change the room, treat me with respect and did everything in his power to make us feel happy and confortable, same as the other manager, I think they have two. The young man that every time that saw me was always ready to help, he is the best that hotel has, management should know that he constributes so much to the success of the bussiness, I hope he is apreciated. Now, I dod recomen the hotel but everyone needs to know that it was build in 1958 it is not up to date, rooms are small, no storage and inside the hotel there is no much todo. ""But the servise is great, the restaurant is very good, location exelent, only with a walking distance to all the important historical side. I felt very safe walking alone at night here. I will go back to Pierre Loti, one bad aple does not make the entire hotel, we had and exelent vacation and I will never forget all the people that help to make our stay so lovely like the managers, the lady that clean the room, the young boy, waiters at the restaurant, everyone envolved. Thank you so much, Im planing to see you soo.

We are visiting this hotel every year the restaurant every time is different and better than previous Espesially we need to thank Ridvan from the restaurant! He is really polite and helpfull ! See you next time !

Having a great location in Sultanahmet neighborhood with easy access to tram station is a self explaining feature of this hotel. Two stations can be used. “Çemberlitas” and “Sultanahmet-blue mosque” which are both so close(2-3 minutes walking). You have easy access to all sites such as blue mosque, Topkopi palace, Grand bazar, spice Bazar, Hagiasufia, ... . At night you can just walk around and enjoy the beautiful night life of the neighborhood. We had such a great time in this hotel. From the moment we just entered we were warmly and nicely welcomed by ‘Ercan’ at the front desk who nicely gave us explanations about the sites and places around . Yacup and Ahmet were also so nice and helpful. The staff at the reception desk could speak English so well which itself is a great point for this hotel. Our room was on the third floor. It was clean, well-sized and well- furnished and with two big windows, it had a beautiful view of the street with its tall and beautiful trees. There were big mirrors on the walls which I think can make ladies more happy;).. The breakfast was excellent to start your day with. There were variety of jam, cheese, fruits, and... . I definitely recommend this hotel and on my next trip to Istanbul I’ll go to this hotel again for sure .

This hotel has everything you want. Located in the lively sultanahmet neighborhood, Pierre Loti offers a warm and friendly stay. Most major historic sights of istanbul including Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Gülhane Park are in walking distance. On our arriving morning, we were welcomed warmly by this nice man, Ercan. We got our room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the Divan Yolu street with its tall trees and lively shops. The room was clean, well-sized, and the selection of colors for the carpet, curtains and bed sheets made it a relaxing place. The free breakfast buffet with the variety of delicious things was a great start for the day. The staff at the front desk were always warm, smiling, and willing to help. The hotel also offers spa services and has a roof top restaurant which we didn’t use of course. I highly recommend this hotel and I’m sure we’ll choose it again on our next visits to Istanbul.
