This is the very first hotel we stayed at during our visit to Turkey this April. The location is excellent, close to both shopping and tram lines. The breakfast spread is large and very good. The room is also a good size and has all the amenities. The staff are all helpful and polite. The only problem was that the WiFi was sometimes patchy and the rooms a little overheated.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is well situated with shopping and the tram line within walking distance. The room seemed quite small compared to similar priced hotels. The overall feeling was not bad but it could have been a bit better. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of dishes in a spacious dining area. Once again (as is my experience thus far in Istanbul) customer service is a top priority for them. The room, I suppose is really just a place to rest but the bulk of ones time is made up of activities outside of the hotel and in this respect we were very well treated. Day trips for tourists are always available at any hotel but the difference was us wanting to customise the tour to suit our itinerary since we were moving around quite a bit. Husnu at the front desk in conjunction with the beautiful Alla at guest relations modified the day tour on our behalf at a discounted price since we had a slightly different schedule to the rest of the guests on the day tour. They really went the extra mile in making it happen for us and in this regards it was really appreciated, What could possibly be considered a down side is the fact that the rooftop pool was empty. I don't know if this an ongoing problem or not but for us it was fine since it was a bit to cold to swim anyway. Would I go back to this hotel? Possibly yes, if I don't find anything more convincing in the price range at the time of travel.

Not what I expected from 4 stars hotel. Bad room service I have ever seen. Not clean room or bathroom. Small room not as in picture. Only one elevator for 85 room!!! And other elevator is under work!! Only reception people can speak English and other staff is not so its very hard to ask for any things. Every time I went to my room I should back again to reception to active my key card !!! Never back again to this hotel at all.

From the pictures (on booking websites and even here on tripadvisor) I thought this was going to be a beautiful hotel. I was quite disappointed from the start. The customer service was limited - lack of communication and no pleasantry as we entered or left. I was allowed into my room 20mins before check in officially opened but it stunk of cigarette smoke. When I complained about this, I was told there were no other rooms ready as I'd checked in early and that I should just open a window. The cleaners didn't clean the room every day and when they did it was a very shabby job - we almost run out of toilet paper one day too as it hadn't been replaced. Breakfast was a basic turkish buffet, but bizarrely had chips and boiled veg like sprouts and courgette on offer. There was nice fresh bread though. On the day we decided to use the spa facilities, we were disappointed to find the jacuzzi empty of water, and the pool, although not large enough to swim in, was freezing. The staff member told us to go into the sauna to heat up and then jump in the pool. Not the relaxing experience we had hoped for. Particularly as the pool and jacuzzi were the reason we booked this hotel for. Oh, there is also construction going on at the minute - which is fine, but may put some people off as it was quite noisy and meant there was often dust everywhere.

Our stay was not bad, the hotel location is great, breakfast was fine, but there are few things made my stay not perfect. The bed was very small and couldnt fit 2 persons and when asking to change rooms the answer was we are fully booked. When we arrived to the room, the toilet was extremly dirty (stool in the toilet seat) as if it wasn't cleaned at all. I know it was october but i can't sleep without AC all the night, they didnt have that option in all rooms because it was central units, it was either heat or open the window as the clerk said. In general it was ok but i wouldn't return there because with the same price that i paid i could find better hotel.

It's a nice and beautiful hotel, it's close to metro station ( 5-10 min ) but unfortunately there were couple of things that I didn't like! 1. unfriendly staff! they were solemn and serious ( not all of them! ) 2. we have a same breakfast for almost 5 day and they only changed one of them each they that i didn't like. in overall I should say it's a good hotel and hope you enjoy it

in fact we did not want to stay this year at this hotel. We stayed here earlier this year we chose the hotels in Sultanahmet through arrived from the airport in the Sultanahmet district, a taxi driver, seeing these places, surprised and asked: How did you find this place? here even the police does not go. And in fact, if earlier it was a tourist area, is currently live here a lot of refugees from Syria and Africa. So we went away and came in Laleli in Vicenza hotel. The price was 160 euros per night, but ordinary tourists from Russia was not, so we have discounted and given a room for two for $ 75, and this discount is $ 100! Everything was fine, good food, clean room, elevator worked. the hotel had few tourists, it was quiet.

Good location nice staff. Mustafa and Hassan at reception were very helpful. Most touristic places, Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar, , Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace Museum in Istanbul very close to hotel. Breakfast was good. Swimming pools are very small. Close to Tram & Metro. Din't give 5 *s because at times a/c was not good.

In the city so large for location but small compared to US standards. Strictly European. Nice staff. Old decor with adequate rooms for an overnight or short stay. Location was convenient to laical shops and sites.

Me and my wife stayed in the fourth floor on of this hotel for three nights. We arrived early in the morning around 5 and they let us early cheek in and when we were leaving they even let us checked out late. Rooms are good sized and clean according to the price. The service is really good. The hotel staffs were very helpful many of them know English. The best thing of this hotel is the location, with access of metro and tram services. Tram and metro stations are only ten minutes walk from the hotel. So you have easy access to old city and Taksim square. The breakfast buffet has many options but they served almost the same items everyday so if you stayed longer its gets monotonous. They have two swimming pools one is roof top and other is in the basement of the hotel with free sauna and steam rooms for free. At the time of checking out they gave us a pack of Turkish delights as a gift. I am looking forward to stay at this hotel in our future trips
