The beautiful building and site was exceeded by the incredible staff. Also, be sure to dine in the pub. It’s delightful, the food, the ambiance, and again the staff.
We had a wonderful view from our room once the weather cleared up. Dinner reservations book up fast so I recommend booking in advance if you plan to have dinner there. The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
The hotel is lovely and in an ideal location. Our room was not as comfortable as I would have liked. There were some maintenance issues that never got addressed despite several requests.
The popularity of the Isle of Skye has resulted in inflated prices for accommodations. This hotel is really an oversized B&B, but merits no more than 3.5 stars as a hotel. At check-in no offer of help was made to carry luggage up the threadworn stairs to the room. At dinner, an extra place setting was left on the table throughout the meal. The bar/pub was authentic and more appropriate for an establishment of this size.
The bar, the breakfast and the room were all nostalgic, clean and comfortable. The meals we had there were delightful and homey. Not to mention how delightful the staff were! I definitely recommend, wish we could have stayed long and can't wait to visit again!
Staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly going the extra mile to help us out - the accommodation was clean and very nicely decorated and the hotel itself was in a stunning location could not fault it!
This was a sweet homw away from home for us. We loved the ambiance, eating and drinking in the bar, and taking walls through the wee village down the road. Really restful and idyllic.
This is a really nice hotel, obviously aided by the beautiful location.
The food in the evening and at breakfast is of a good quality, with many locally sourced choices on the menu. The mussels were awesome.
Staff were all great, very approachable and welcoming.
The only thing which detracted from the quality of the hotel was the damp in my room (14) which meant that the curtains were mouldy - which is obviously a bit off-putting.
