Oceanfront Experience - Shipwatch C-214 - with Free Ocean Breeze

We are the relatively new owners of this amazing second floor unit, in the desirable Shipwatch Villas. C-214 has some of the greatest views of the ocean in Shipwatch. Since the parking garage is underneath the building, the view is actually a third floor view.

Two of the three bathrooms were completely remodeled at the end of 2023.

The views from our balcony also include lush tropical landscape and a bit of the beautiful Shipwatch pool, the biggest and best pool in Wild Dunes. It's also a mineral pool. And there's a kiddy pool.

Each of the three bedrooms has it's own full bath! King beds in the master (Admiral's Suite) and first guest room (Captain's Quarters). Both a double bed and a twin bed are in the second guest room (First Mates' Room). There's also a pull out sofa in the sitting room.

The spacious open living areas and bathrooms have tile flooring. In 12/2019, we replaced the carpet in the bedrooms with luxury vinyl tile. No questionable carpet!

The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, updated cabinets and bar seating. New microwave installed in 3/2021. New standard/convection/air fryer/dehydrator oven and refrigerator installed in 1/2022.

The large patio is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom and is the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunrises. We purchased new comfy sectional patio furniture in the summer of 2019. I think we are only one of two units in Shipwatch that has a sectional sofa on the balcony. I've slept out there many a time.

We purchased new TVs for the entire place. The one in the sitting room is 50" HD 4K Smart TV.

In addition to the nightly rate, a 10% South Carolina state and a 4% Charleston County tax will be added to your charges. A $275 Cleaning Fee and a $59 Damage Protection Insurance Premium to cover up to $1,500 accidental damage (or you can choose to pay a $1500 refundable damage deposit, if no damages). VRBO charges ~14% of booking for their website.

Beautiful Condo in a Great Location!

The location of this condo was great! Short walk to the beach with showers and feet sprayers at the end of the walking path. The pool was beautiful and the area around it was well maintained. The grounds were beautiful as well. It is in a quiet area so noise level was not a concern for us at any point, this was great considering we have young kids. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy the stay, cook meals in the condo, and do laundry as needed. Having three bathrooms was so convenient too. The WiFi worked well too. Lori was.great and was super quick to answer my questions as I had them. I had no issues at all and would recommend this condo!

Perfect Condo

We visit Charleston the last week of February every year. We have stayed in many condos. This is one of our favorites. The condo is perfectly stocked and clean. We had everything we needed. We love Wild Dunes community and look forward to next year.

Thanksgiving family getaway

Lori is awesome to work with. My goal was to have my family (twin seniors in HS and a junior in college) enjoy some family time together away from the “usual” craziness of life with an. extended family holiday! This was the perfect place! It was big enough to stretch out and Cozy to play family games and spend time as a family. Location was exceptional and I (mom) spent time on the patio reading books and binge watch tv while listening to the waves! Will Come Back again. Lori was exceptional with communication when I was concerned about road closures and offered a full refund past the deadline when I was nervous about travel. She’s great. Condo was clean and in a great location! Perfect family getaway!

Would definitely stay here again!

Book your stay in this condo and you won't be disappointed! You can't beat the proximity to the pool and the beach (which is important when you have a toddler!) It's easy to see that the condo has significant upgrades from other condos we have stayed in in the past. It was no fault of anyone, but we had a minor hiccup or two happen at the beginning of our stay and Lori was responsive, gracious, and more than fair. She genuinely works hard to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We have been coming to the Isle of Palms for years but we always end up staying in different condos and have never stayed in one that we were desperate to book again - until now! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and are looking forward to booking something in late 2024. We even got to see a sea turtle come to shore to nest. Run, don't walk to this condo because it will surely be booked soon.

Great Location as advertised

Nice condo, very well maintained. Owners readily available when needed. Perfect for my family. With the pool and beach access close, it made it easy to navigate. Love the fact that it was gated which made me feel more secure.
