We had the loveliest stay at Dunvegan House. After a long day of walking, Fiona gave us the warmest welcome, and the house felt so cozy and homey. Our room was spotless—honestly, the bed was so inviting I wanted to jump right in! 🛌💤
The location is 10/10—just steps from the ferry and an easy stroll to the local shops and restaurants. And don't even get me started on the breakfast... absolutely divine! 🍳☕️
If you’re heading to Brodick, stay here. We’ll definitely be back!
Last minute booking due to ferry cancellation. Everything was great and the lady running the guest house was lovely.

We recently stayed at the Dunvegan Guest House with family.
The Guest House is in an excellent location with beautiful scenic view of Brodick Bay and the mountains including Goatfell.
We were welcomed by the owner George who gave us a quick resume of breakfast times, local places to visit etc etc.
Our rooms, as with the whole Guest House were spotlessly clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/biscuits.
The bathroom was also well stocked with towels/ shampoo/shower gel etc.
On the ground floor there was also a lovely welcoming communal sitting room.
In the morning we met Fiona who served our lovely and wholesome breakfast. There was plenty of choice on the menu for everyone.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend the Dunvegan House Guest House to anyone visiting Brodick.
Special thanks to George and Fiona.
Very friendly welcome and traditional B&B experience. Conveniently located near to the ferry on the waterfront in Brodick with (limited) parking in the drive or in the (free) public parking across the road. Twin room on ground floor spacious with clean ensuite with stand-up shower stall (electric heat). Excellent breakfast with plenty of options both cooked but also on the sideboard (cereals, fruit, juices, milk, etc).
More a B&B than a hotel and the restaurant advertised on their website is no longer available for dinner. No hot water in the bathroom sink but shower was hot. Breakfast okay but no vegetarian dishes on offer.
What a delightful experience. Easy walk from the ferry. Right across from the water. Beautiful view. The breakfast was amazing. My husband had kippers for the first time since emigrating from the UK. The room was clean and the bathroom updated. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend and stay again!
hotel is in the perfect position wonderful view over the bay
near the ferry port the owners are helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean
will stay again
Great down to earth hosts. Comfy clean room, excellent breakfast, friendly reception and short stay in everyway.
No bells and whistles just excellent service.
Beautiful B&B, with comfy bed, excellent pillows, absolutely excellent breakfast and lovely hosting. The whole place is immaculate.
We stayed for our first night on the Isle before heading off on the coastal way. It's a short walk from the ferry terminal and has a lovely view over the water. It was the perfect way to spend our first night and rest up / get fuelled up!
Me and the wife got a warm welcome from Helen when we arrived at her excellent guest house. The room was lovely and clean and had everything you need. We had a great Scottish breakfast but a continental breakfast was also available. Owner Helen could not have been more helpful, would definitely recommend and be happy to go back.
