Lakeview Outpost has a true rustic cabin feel, set right on the shores of Henrys Lake. Step outside onto the half wraparound deck, where youā€™ll find a fire pit and picnic-style seating perfect for outdoor meals or evenings by the water. The cabin is just steps from the docks, making it easy to enjoy fishing, boating, or simply strolling along the lakefront.

Inside, the front room offers a cozy spot to relax with rocking chairs facing the waterā€”almost like an enclosed patio, but open enough to feel connected to the outdoors. This space also includes a small play area for children, making it a welcoming retreat for families.

Cabin was absolutely amazing! The location literally cannot be beat. The views are stunning, I swear driving into the property it looks like you are staying in Hawaii. The cabin is very cozy, lots of blankets and comfy chairs. Fridge is a great size, washer and dryer are very convenient, very happy with our stay! FYI, we also saw three moose literally 2 minutes from this cabin in the Aspen trees. Two bull and a cow, and one of the bulls is a real good size!

The view was amazing! Disappointed the telescope didnā€™t work but binoculars were a plus. Plenty of kitchen supplies, coffee filters, sugar, spices. Beds were super comfy even if the bedding looked a bit worn. So nice sleeping with the windows open at night. Bathroom was small but adequate for 4 adults. Water got nice and hot. We wish we could have stayed a few more days to enjoy being at the cabin more! Would definetly stay again.

Away from the crowds

If you like getting away from the crowds (but still being close enough to visit), having morning coffee while enjoying a lake view, or sitting outside enjoying the evening (or all of the above), then this place is for you! We loved the deck and sun-room. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean. Highly recommend.
