The cozy room and the view of the lake. The beds were very comfortable

We purposely chose this place for our stay because of the beautiful rustic cabin restaurant and bar/ lounge and comfy fireplace sitting areas in main lodge. We get there only to be told it’s all closed and we should go elsewhere . The pictures of the rooms online are updated and nothing like the rundown hodge podge mix of ugly old black and white fake granite tile and poorly executed wanna cabin decor. They superglued antlers to ceiling lights, thick cobwebs on nightstands , security lock was missing from riverside door.. went to check out the next am/ afternoon and wasn’t even open/ not a soul insight. Couldn’t turn in our keys , speak with anyone or take a few pictures of the beautiful animal mounts we had hoped to capture . .. overall very upset and disappointed and would really like a refund 140$ a night for nothing ... total waste .. so much for Gordon ramseys makeover

Excellent place to stay with awesome river view . Would come back :)

About 30 min away from West Yellowstone entrance. Room was interesting with a Jacuzzi and a very high bed. Very rustic appearance. Continental breakfast was low point--food was running out when we arrived and not much choice. Would stay again though.

We booked two rooms for two nights for our group and got one room upstairs and one room on the ground level. The room upstairs was well decorated and looks to be recently remodeled. It was what I expected from the online pictures. Our room on the main floor was ugly compared to the upstairs. It was dark. It didn't feel as pleasant to be in as the other. The bath tub also had black mold and red slimes on the shower curtains. There were also a sewer of some sort smell when the room is completely close. I had to open the window to get the smell out. When we were at the resort, we spent of our time in the upper room and only slept in the main floor room. Overall, the resort is well situated next to a river. It's beautiful. The restaurant attached to the lodge had very pleasant employees. On our first night there, the power for the entire area went out and were about to order. The restaurant employee called several other restaurants to check on their electricity situation and referred us to the ones that are still open. We never did ate dinner there but had coffee two mornings and enjoyed our experience at the restaurant.

Accommodating staff, location is awesome. Convenient for Yellowstone goers or just individuals who love nature...........................................

Got free upgrade by luck, then it became my favorite hotel so far. Huge house, clean, quiet, full gear, friendly front desk, awesome view with free outdoor Jacuzzi, only 20 min driving to Yellowstone, affordable price. Definitely deserve 5-star rate

We thought the hotel was ok...Why I say it was only ok and not great is because we were their during the "off" season and it kinda stank for location. Island park is like the widest spread town I have ever seen for such a little population. The room was clean and ok, the hotel staff was nice, the view was beautiful of the river. But the hotel was just reopening up so the restaurant was closed, we had to drive like half an hour to go out to eat, there was nothing close that was open for the "season" at 6PM. The hot tub was not filled yet. The Porch was starting to show its age and needs flooring fixed. I wish we would have been informed before arriving that it was not fully functioning yet, restaurant, hot tub, hotel clerk being there 24/7, etc. but it worked for the night and would be a very nice place to stay when everything is open and available to you.

stayed here by default as everything is closed within a 50 mile stay raduis of west Yellowstone rates I paid at $250 pn no fault of the hotel I have to pay such a high price as I did not plan my accom 6 mths in advance for Yellowstone coming in peak Season

Loved the location, central to the things we wanted to do. Most of all it was away from the tourist population centers. It was quiet, clean and we loved the overall experience. Would recommend to couples that want to travel and be left alone.

comfortable to stay, very nice room with water view
