We had an excellent experience with Arawak Beach Inn. It's a lovely setting, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Natalie and Matthew were very gracious hosts, and they helped us with any requests we had. We were missing some items for our kitchenette, but they were happy to furnish them. They brought our dinner to our room on our first night, when we were exhausted from travel, which was much appreciated. We had food cooked by Natalie, Maria, and Caroline, and it was all delicious. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Note, this really isn't ON the beach. I would call it "waterfront" rather than beach front, as you aren't going to walk our your door to the beach, but you'll want to have a car to drive to Shoal Bay and the other great island beaches anyway. Fantastic view of Scilly Cay, lots of food in walking distance, in addition to their cafe. Great experience for an affordable price.

Natalie and Her boyfriend went above and beyond to help us with any needs . We were very stressed about other things and their kind words helped us every way they could. This hotel is so unique in such a beautiful hidden spot . Room had an amazing, comfortable bed, so much storage and the scenery was picture perfect ! What a view ! Staff prepared the meals from scratch and were accommodating to our needs . Pool was very nice we kept very clean . Thank you for making our trip a safe and comfortable one ! Such a beautiful place spot

We’ve been coming to Anguilla for years, in the past have staying at various places on the West End and Mead’s Bay, but Arawak Inn will be our Island home going forward. The East End of the Island is much more peaceful, and Shoal Bay East (just a few minutes from the Inn) is an absolute gem, as good as it gets anywhere. What’s so special though is the hospitality and genuine homegrown care and concern of this lovely little place – Innkeeper Maria and her daughter Natalie go out their way to make guests feel very special, and nothing is too much trouble - they ran us to the beach, helped plan our days, bought us supplies, made restaurant reservations, and generally made us feel like family. The food is good, and reasonably priced, but best of all is the honor bar – as Maria says” “just right it down on the pad on the Conk shell!” Thank you folks for such as great stay, see you next year!

If you are looking for an authentic Caribbean experience, that's the right place for you. No fancy things but a lovely place to relax and enjoy the island. My room was facing the sea and it was simply wonderful. Recommended!! Hope to come back.

Stopped in the Arawak this week to see the wonderful acquaintances at the Arawak Beach Inn located at Island Harbor in Anguilla . Folks does it get any better than this? No it doesn't . You gotta go with the 3 S's (Stop Inn, Stay A Bit, Sunday Night Supper). Innkeeper Maria is such world class and I mean that because she knows what standards are in places that aren't just in the Caribbean. It's the place to be if you want a slow pace with a friendly group of people and all the accommodations one needs. Highly recommended by this family. Regards JW, Chel , Mamie and Z

I have lived and worked in the Caribbean many years now. Even when living in paradise, you need a place to get away from it all. I have stayed at the Arawak Inn several times. The hotel and it's staff are one of the best secrets in the Lesser Antilles. Stays here are easy and gentle like the passing of the five o'clock hour at a local cantina. Checking in here is stepping out of the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. The rooms are clean and well appointed with everything you really need. The view from the rooms is magnificent out across the bay. The only noise you hear is the wind and surf lapping the shore. Anguilla is a terrific little island, off the beaten path, with plenty to offer and friendly, easy going locals. The owners and staff of the Arawak Beach Inn are there for you if you need anything; but you wont. The "unwinding" begins with making reservation, which I suggest you do!

Our daughter was starting Med school in Anguilla and we needed a place to stay while we found her accomodations. Her school suggested Arawak, and we were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful place we arrived to. Maria and her son Kyle were absolutely amazing hosts during our stay and were very helpful giving advice on how to go about getting things accomplished. The room we had was clean and suited our needs just fine. We enjoyed the pool several times after long days of running around. We enjoyed several meals there as well and I would highly recommend Marias chicken...it is so yummy. The laid back atmosphere was perfect for us and with the rental car it was very easy to scoot into The Valley to get things done. A wonderful resort to relax and enjoy Anguilla. Well done Maria!!

We stayed at Arawak Beach Inn in January of 2016. It is a clean comfortable Inn. At the time we stayed was the "off'" season. We were practically the only guests there, some weekenders did stay for a night or two. Staff was very accommodating to our needs and help to arrange a rental car, along with advice on how to get around on the island. There is a small "private" beach area close by, however if it is windy the surf can be very rough. All in all a nice place to get away from the world.

Duplex octagonal houses with amazing views of island harbor bay and ocean. Clean, comfortable beds, roomy, recently upgraded, cable, internet, always a cool breeze flowing through the rooms, comfortable balcony, really nice staff. Maria (inn keeper) is friendly, efficient, and goes out of her way to assure your comfort & needs. Other staff members friendly, kind, and helpful. The only issue we had was the house behind our villa has loud big barking (day and night) dogs. Had we used the air conditioning instead of mother natures breezes, we would not have heard the non stop, irritating, barking dogs.

My Fiance and I stayed at Arawak this past weekend for 2 nights. We originally booked the Deluxe room and on arrival Maria (owner) and Natalie (her daughter) showed us the room we booked and what the Premium room looked like so that we could compare. Both rooms were VERY NICE and VERY CLEAN (both remodeled with modern and clean bathrooms, large king beds, tons of room, and a small kitchenette in the premium room), which was very good to see in person as some of the reviews on here contradict that. We ended up going with the Premium room because it had air conditioner. It was a gorgeous room/cottage on the end of the property with a balcony that went half way around the entire room and overlooked Island Harbor. It was absolutely gorgeous. We would find ourselves enjoying the breeze and watching a movie out on the balcony. Our room was EXACTLY like the pictures and the property was very cute. We could walk to island harbor for lunch or dinner, or order food from the in house restaurant (although a little pricey, it was good portions and tasted great). The owner also gave us a ride to Shoal Bay in the morning so we would only have to have a cab for the ride back. We were extremely happy with our stay, and being that I live on St. Maarten at the moment, I do plan to make it again, as well as refer friends, before I move back to the states by end of the year!
