Hotel Boutique Isla de Tabarca

"We did not make it to our stay at this hotel because it was not made clear it is on an island!
You have to take a ferry to get there. Our search for a hotel on Expedia used the criteria of central Alicante.
The telephone numbers listed do not work and trying to get hold of anyone to advise we could not make it to our reservation was impossible.
We note the name of the hotel includes the word ‘Isla’ but this is just a name. The details of this’offshore’ Hostal are lacking and it is certainly not in central Alicante."
