I try and be supportive and positive in my reviews, but was left disappointed by this hotel. It wasn’t awful, and if you want a budget hotel its well located and clean. Based on my observations it is disorganised and inefficient however. Arriving at the hotel at 13.45, based upon our confirmation saying 14.00 check in, we were immediately greeted outside by two fellow guests who had no idea how to get into the hotel. Apparently there was a code, which none of us had been aware of, and took us ringing a reception to get hold of. Had we not a working phone we would have had no way of entering the hotel, the intercom didn’t work and we were alerted reception didn’t open until 16.00. Fortunately we got through to someone on the phone and entered the hotel, to be directed to a safe, with another code, which had an envelope with our room key. Upon entering the room we found the sheets unmade, used towels on the floor and a room that hadn’t been looked at. We rang the hotel number, as still reception was shut, and were told the room wasn’t ready till four and there was no where to leave bags. This simply isn’t acceptable when a confirmation says two pm. Our saving grace was meeting a friendly cleaner in the lift, who looked after the bags. Had it not been for this the day would have been ruined. A further gripe was the practicality over security. I’ve never stayed in a room before where shutting the door does not lock it. One has to put the key back in the door after leaving the room, to ensure the door is locked. It creates a real security risk if people are unaware. When reception did arrive (the first contact being to ask us for the one euro eighty tourist tax) there was no apology, and a woeful lack of guidance on nearby amenities or transport. To give them their due the staff were kind and friendly, but weren’t able to help us in any way, To add some balance, the room itself was of a decent size, and once cleaned was in a nice condition. The location was also very central. Had we a smooth check in with a room that was ready, I’d have said this place decent value for money. Given we didn’t however, I have drawn attention to this, as whilst only a small part of the stay, it caused immense frustration at that time, and should be entirely avoidable. It is very disappointing the hotel choose not to see this as an issue (nor worry about my phone bill!!!) If I visit again, I’ll find another venue.

The stay was good, except for I left my bag at the reception and when we got back late, the storage room was closed and I couldn’t get it... this can be expected. At least the bag could have been deposited to the room.. overall the stay was good, the location is perfect!

I spent almost five days in Grenoble for conference, and I would like to visit this wonderful place again. Interesting geographical position, long history of wars and victories, charming atmosphere of downtown -- all this makes Grenoble so attractive! The hotel I've stayed surprised me by low (compared to Paris) price and very nice and comfortable accommodation. Large room for relaxation combined with small kitchen, bed-room with comfortable bed, everything is very clean. "Small breakfasts" are not so small and very tasteful.

The staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. However, the hotel doesn't provide any tissue paper nor tooth paste and brush. There was no amenities even though it's a 3 stars hotel. We asked the reception for the amenities and we were told it's the hotel policy. For next time we for sure prefer booking in another hotel.

This was a nice aparthotel and our issues with it were minimal. On the first day the toilet flush button got stuck and we had to wait until the next day for maintenance to have a look at it, only for the same thing to happen again. Eventually we figured out how to fix it ourselves by just leaving the water running while we were out to clear it. The twin beds were not particularly comfortable and they were very small. The kitchen was additionally extremely basic. Only two of each piece of cutlery and a hob and microwave, no oven, severely limiting what you can cook for yourself. Our favourite feature however was the balcony which we had not been expecting. It had mountain views and faced some lovely old buildings looking towards the city centre. Considering its proximity to the centre the apartment was very quiet. The shower pressure was also great. The internet worked very well as did the TV. The main member of staff who dealt with us was absolutely lovely and spoke in flawless English. The location of the place was also great, not a long walk to the Gare Routiere or the Gare SNCF, and a very short walk to the city centre. I would recommend this place as a great value base to stay in Grenoble.

„Nice apartment with small kitchenette with all what is needed. Very convenient location, close to the train and bus station and tram stop, but in quiet street.”„Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Central location. Nice view.”

Excellent location in the center of Grenoble, very close by walk to the main city garden where the Cabaret Frappe festival takes place on July. The room has a balcony with a great view of the city and the mountains landscape too.

It was a nice stay in Grenoble in a small no thrills hotel. They offered good value for 3 night stay so me and my gf picked it. Be aware you have to pay city tax 90cent per night per person or 45 eur if you stay one night which was weird. Lastly my gf fell down in the bastille so we asked for basic med kit to disinfect the wound and reception didnt have that which we found abit odd as all hotels must have basic med kits I reckoned. Overall good stay though would come back if they offer good value deal again.

The hotel has a very good location- near the centre and the Gаre. Rooms are quiet clean but far away from being sterile. In my opinion bed were comfortable but very thin pillows. The room has a small kitchenette which is very comfortable and a small fridge. For a 3 star hotel not bad at all, quiet (and our window was on the street), no problem with hot water, everything was working properly including conditioner. I was really disappointed of one thing- we stayed there for 4 days and the garbage bin wasn't cleaned even once.

This is a good place to stay for a decent price in Grenoble. Good hotels are not abundent in this city, but this place does the job. The location close to Victor Hugo square could not be better. The rooms are spaceous and clean, albeit a bit worn. Breakfast is simple but good. Nice and friendly staff! Will come back at my next trip to Grenoble!
