Enjoyed an extremely relaxing 2 week holiday in this hidden gem. Great location overlooking the bay, and metres away from car free harbour of Sant Angelo. We upgraded to a superior room, which was a good size, nicely decorated in Italian style tiling. Nice size balcony, and great view across the bay. Air conditioning, slippers, flip flops, robes and toiletries as standard, TV and safe. Free wi-fi. Nice communal areas, Lovely bar area well run by Gennaro. Staff in all areas of the hotel are very considerate and helpful. Before travellign we opted for the half board option, so glad we did, excellent value . Cheaper to book ahead than on arrival, you save quite a bit of money. Best half board option I have ever have. It changes every day. The standard and quality of food, exceptional. Starter buffet, 1st course (pasta, soup), 2nd course (meat/fish) dessert. Breakfast was also equally as good. All served on the lovely terrace. A short walk took you to the Apollon Club, with its Thermal Spa, eight pools of varying temperatures from 16C to 42C, and a private beach. Golf buggy is also on hand to take you there. There is a small area which has steps down to the sea, and a few sunbeds. We travel to Italy a lot, and I think this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It was just perfect in every way.

Had the most relaxing and enjoyable two week stay at the Miramare. It's location overlooking the delightful bay and just a few hundred metres from the beautiful car free town of Sant'Angelo is perfect for a peaceful break. On arrival we were met by Rosaria who runs the reception and shown to Room 110 which is one of the premier rooms with a large balcony having room for sun loungers and table & chairs. The room has recently been refurbished to a very high standard being spacious and well equipped . Air conditioning was effective and most importantly very quiet. We stayed on a half board basis and were looked after throughout the stay by the delightful Bogdan. Breakfast was a good selection of cold and some hot choices which was varied enough for our stay. Dinner was without question excellent with a varied menu throughout our stay. Highlights were the Risottos, Various Pasta , Beef, Veal and Seafood dishes. To complement this the restaurant has the most amazing pastry chef who's deserts and breakfast treats were far too good as our expanded waistlines can testify to. The bar is run by Gennaro with aplomb and we enjoyed afternoon tea, early evening cocktails and post dinner aperitifs sitting and enjoying the fantastic views. Add to all this the Thermal Spa with its eight pools of varying temperatures from 16C to 42C and we definitely give the Miramare 5 Stars and highly recommend it and hope to return again.

The staff were both friendly and attentive, the food very good and the setting almost certainly the best in Sant Angelo. The spa area is a 5 min walk away but this is not a problem for most folk and you can walk down steps down from the hotel straight onto a small private jetty area to go for an early morning dip. Mainly couples staying there in the age range 60 - 70 and despite the stunning setting they didn't seem to be able to smile all that much! Maybe they were bored millionaires....or just didn't like the exercise necessary to get to the spa.

We spent a week here in the middle of September. We booked via Citalia and there was not one issue from Airport to hotel, wonderful service. From the taxi pulling up in the little square, there's a few min walk to the hotel, or you can pay 3 Euro per person to be driven to the hotel. Having got to the room we were blown away with the spectacular view, its really something to behold. We got lucky and had a huge balcony (room 145). The only recommendation i'd make is giving each room a corkscrew so you can enjoy some wine on your balcony before dinner. The pool is a 5 min walk away, it involves some hills and steps, but nothing major and again, you can be driven there. The thermal pools are really nice and the views are again spectacular. The hotel has steps down to to the sea, which was a great way to enjoy the early morning sun and a dip before breakfast. We stayed half board, the breakfasts were great with plenty of choice in eggs / pastries / cakes etc... Vincenzo was amazing in the morning with his supply of cappuccino & espresso. Evening meals were sublime, the buffet was great (the mozzarella was incredible), and the choices for starters and main was varied. Having stayed for a week there wasn't one evening where the meals felt repetitive. The seafood options were delicious. Gennaro who runs the bar was great also, making a fantastic espresso martini. The views throughout the hotel were fantastic. This is a place we look forward to coming back too "thank you" to all the staff for an amazing holiday, everything was perfect.

Fantastic hotel in a great location in Sant'Angelo. Superb views across the Maronti bay and Capri can be seen in the distance. We were staying in a Prestige Room, which was light and spacious. The breakfast buffet is good and omelettes can be requested if you don't fancy the scrambled or boiled eggs which come as standard with the buffet. Having access to the private beach and facilities at Apollon is great and it's just a short walk or electric car ride (which the hotel provides on request). The lunch menu at the Miramare itself isn't extensive, but what's on offer is very good. A wider lunch menu can be found at the Apollon restaurant. Again, the food was of a good standard here. The staff are friendly and helpful and, overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.

No word's can really explain how good this hotel is as past reviews will cover all areas in a great more detail more than me. All I can say is if you ask me 'would I return?'.. most certainly we would. Many thanks to the manager, who's name I didn't know but all staff we came across were fantastic. However two staff stood out for my wife and I who were exceptional ,Vincenzo and Gennero .Thank you so much ... Nearly forgot food is out of this world..

The standards at this hotel , was excellent . Faultless. Thank you mina Thompson rep for all your help for our lost case , also to the beautiful Yienia for her lovely welcome when arriving at reception . This hotel is italy at its best .food is the best you will ever find, Enjoyed spa with thermal pool . All the staff are a credit to the hotel . Will definatly book again for the best holiday in Italy My husband enjoyed the thermal pools, and the electric buggies which will update bring you back and forth .

What a fantastic hotel and amazing location. We visited the main port and Saint Angelo was by far the best. The hotel has superb views of the beach. As we arrived we were upgraded to the junior suite which was incredible and a great early 30th birthday present. Staff are fantastic. Vicenzo, Michelle, Generro and Bogdan are great along with the reception team. Views of each room are incredible of the seas. The spa area is about a 5 min walk. Steep hill up then down on the way there. Drinks are around €4 for bottle and €5.50 for pint. If looking to book I can't recommend more than to get the half board option. Food every night was incredible. We were there for a week and was truly the best place I've stayed. Ischia, yes it takes a while to get there, but worth every hour to get there. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

I was very reluctant to write a review for this hotel because it is so good you want to keep it a secret but I owe it to all the staff and management to make sure their future is secure. My wife and I have travelled the World and chose this hotel to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary because we love Italy and this hotel looked like the sort of place we could chill out for a week. After reading other reviews I will make it easy for is brilliant....go half board. Buggies are always available to get to the spa which has great pools. Views are brilliant....staff are brilliant......sitting on the terrace having pre dinner drinks and dinner was a joy all served by very experienced and local staff. There is a local store round the corner if you need stock for the room !!! I have been home 3 days and missing the place already is worth the time it takes to get there.....would we go back....for sure.

Getting there is a bit of a hassle - Naples airport to ferry port then wait for the ferry. Ferry crossing is 45 minutes to 90 minutes and then a 45 minute taxi ride. But when you get there is is very very good. The hotel looks out towards Sorrento and Capri with lots of boat activity. The Hotel is charming. It must be around 100 years old and has lots of character. The modern bit is the sister hotel The Appollon where the pool is based and the sunbathing and spa.. This is about half a mile away up / down a couple of steep hills but you can get the free shuttle in the golf carts. The food is outstanding for both breakfast and dinner at the Miramar. We had the half board option which really was outstanding value. Lunch at the Appollon was very good as well. We did not eat in Sant' Angello but when we walked by the restaurants they looked very touristy. The staff are brilliant. Particularly Bogdan in the restaurant; Gerona in the bar and the young girl at reception whose name I cannot remember. Butr they were all brilliant. Definitely worth the hassle getting there. This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have had.
