Unfortunately, I have received the worst customer service ever, even before visiting the facilities. I have purchased a smartbox gift experience, checked availability for Le Querce on both websites (hotel and smartbox) and found weekdays availability in September. The first tentative booking was rejected by the hotel due to lack of availability so I decided to phone up and check with the phone reservation agent. He provided me with some available dates for smartbox clients and after a few minutes I tentatively booked for the second time, through smartbox website. Long story short...I have done so 4 times ( on a second phone call I have also spoke to the hotel manager, to explain my frustration) and my booking has been rejected four times, even though the smartbox website showed availability and the manager confirmed the dates over the phone. I can only think of bad management and poor customer service. They clearly prefer to prioritise direct clients without understanding that I am a valuable customer too.
We stayed here for three nights at the end of March 2018. We had a great stay - this place is all about relaxing and enjoying the wonderful view! The location is great - a 15 min walk from the port. The rooms and decor might look a little old - but it does not matter, when you wake up looking at the blue Mediteranean Sea! The service is fine, the spa good and the hot pools inside and out is just great. We hope to be back.
I spent 4 days at Le Querce over Easter and particularly appreciated the amazing location (wonderful views across the bay), the efficiency and availability of the hotel staff - they helped me with renting a car and answering all my various questions with real kindness. Great massages and thermal treatments, indoor and outdoor pools also. Highly recommended!
Very good dinner, in all the days I stayed, not so much that I expected but is ok. Only the deserts is not enought but good of taste. What I don’t liked in the restaurant is the organization and almoust of personal don’t speak english 🙁
Cleaning, good service (only in the restaurant is a little disorganization and is expensive for what they offer), you can stay outside pool after 19 o'clock. I like the beds and the pillows. I have half board and was ok, (a la carte choise) .
I was extremely happy to stay at this Palace while I was visiting Ischia. The location is great. Only 10 minutes slowly walking to the port all the way down. Service is great. Everyone was very friendly and polite. Vasilii is the soul of this wonderful place. He helped me with tickets, sugested great places to eat and to go, he gave me great advices and prolonged my staying here with a very comfortable for me conditions. He is noble, polite, respectful gentleman. You can surely count on him in every situation. If you want to, you can take free shuttle bus to the port and back. It's New and comfortable. Housekeeping is perfect. Ladies are very polite. Breakfast was really good. Restaurant is great if you want to have something a la carte you will be pleased. And a piano man is playing every evening in the lobby. the atmosphere in Querce is really great and relaxing. And I loved the spa. I had a great room with a fantastic seaside wiev. Every morning I was really happy to wake up in such a great place. I fell in love with Ischia and Querce. I'll surely return in spring. In the same room.
We arrived in Naples took a taxi to the port and took the ferry to ischia about 45 mins crossing . We then got a taxi from the port to the hotel about 5 mins drive . We arrived at the hotel and immediately we knew we had picked a gem . From the moment we arrived to the day we left we couldn't fault this hotel . The staff were so friendly and helpful although there English was limited we couldn't speak any Italian but we managed to understand each other which was fun to work out but the receptionist spoke good English so no problems there . The rooms and hotel are typical rustic Italian but kept very clean and tidy with plenty of soap and hair wash supplied . We had a sea view room and the view was fantastic . We usually went down for breakfast at 8 and could always get a table by the window again with fantastic views . The breakfast choice was wide ranging from scrambled egg and bacon to continental breakfast and lots of cakes and pastries . The pool was a good size for the hotel and there was never a problem getting a lounger non of this get your towels on mad rush in the morning .the pool is a salt water one and was always warm enough to walk straight in . We never ate in the hotel at night as we walked down to the harbour where there is plenty of great restaurants to choose from with loads of fantastic dishes . Seafood is the main dish as you can imagine and the only meat on offer is steak . The port shopping place just up from the restaurants is a lovely place to shop if that's your thing loads of designer shops and food places and souvenir shops . Nighttime at the hotel is fairly quiet but one thing I will recommend not too miss if he is playing is 17 year old Nicola he is an amazing pianist and plays everything from hotel California to Chopin and is very entertaining but also passionate about the piano thoroughly enjoyed listening to him play the piano and a lovely lad too . To reflect on the hotel fantastic views lovely staff great food very clean and totally chilled . The port has fantastic restaurants and lovely shopping area . The roads are chaotic but that's Italy for you . Meals out were averaging about 10 to 15 euros for a great seafood meal wine about 18 euros a bottle . Overall a great hotel and chilled atmosphere I would recommend this hotel and ischia a beautiful part of Italy
We stayed at Le Querce with the friend at the beginning of August. Let me say at the very beginning, the hotel exceeded our expecations for the price we paid. For us the most important thing was a view - and we got an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SEA VIEW!!! The hotel stays on the hill, so apart from the view, you should overcome more than 300 staircases to reach the beach - in our case it was fine, as it was a good fitness we accepted with pleasure. The private beach itself is not very common for hotel in Ischia, so it was another huge benefit - great service by friendly Antonio, sunbeds and umbrellas free, no crowd - asbolute serenity. And one more lucky thing we did was to have booked a trip half pension (with the dinner included) - restaurant is a value to this hotel. Starting from absolute neatness, perfect a-la carte choice - each dinner was stunning, ending with impeccable service of the staff, supervised by experienced Massimo. Just an example - upon our leave we mentioned that it would be great to try Ischian rabbit.. - our wish was heard, and on our last day we were served with the rabbit! Thank you, Massimo, for a great customer service. In other respects, the hotel has an area for improvement: the furniture in the rooms is quite simple though convenient enough. Bathroom would definitely benefit from renovation - more powerful hair dryers, glass door in the shower are already a must.. But for us the hotel was a perfect match to our requirements - sea view, food, and style. - yes, a separate word should go to the interior of the hotel, which is stylish and cosy. You could spend hours in the lobby or at the terasse enjoing the view or live piano music. I would say the hotel would suit adults better (it is stairy, so it might be an issue with kids), those who look for beauty of nature and absolute relax.
Great hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing views across the port from the pool. Food was good. Really enjoyed our stay there. Easy walk into Ischia town itself past the port. Indoor pool is good that we actually got to use the day it rained.
Very much enjoyed my stay at Le Querce, the view over the Bay of Naples from the terrace is absolutely splendid! I also enjoyed the outdoor thermal pool - surprisingly warm but not overly so. I was surprised to have to pay for the beach towel. My room had a splendid terrace directly overlooking the sea. Everything was clean but I thought that the bathroom was a bit dated. I had the half-board menu each evening and found the meals varied and tasty. I tried the spa and was very pleased with the facial and pedicure, at very reasonable prices. In my opinion the hotel does not do enough to promote it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the navette into town - so much easier than having to walk on a hot August day. If I return to Ischia - and I hope I can do so soon - I would certainly stay here again.
