Favorite place I’ve stayed in so far in Isafjordur. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast has a nice variety and location was quiet. I would stay here again!
Lovely friendly hotel that feels like home. We had a room with a private bathroom and it was perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly and only there in the morning for breakfast and cleaning purposes.
Great shared kitchen/dining area with a microwave, tea and coffee, and fresh banana bread baked daily. Breakfast was continental style, but good quality and well presented.
In the evenings there is a communal seating area which was very cozy, and has access to Google speakers to put on music.
Easy key entry. No entry time restrictions. Upon arrival there the towels in the room were not fully dry. The incense in the room was over powering. The rooms are small but for an overnight fine. The morning coffee was in much need of more coffee in it.
This Inn is centrally located in town. It was clean, quiet, and the breakfast was good. The rooms are extremely - and I cannot stress this enough - extremely small. There is no place to put a bag let alone a suitcase. We were two people and we had to jump over each other to move around the room. The bathroom sink is so small, one cannot possibly wash hands in there without splashing everywhere. It was an uncomfortable stay. I wish their photos accurately reflected the size of the rooms.
The room was clean as was the shared bathroom. I never met the staff but everything was well labeled and the breakfast was adequate. The night before you could smell the banana bread in the bread oven and it did not disappoint in the morning. I regret not having more. The coffee was freshly ground and tasty. I had the single in the front of the building. A lot of light came through and there was a sleep mask kit with earplugs for the noisy street. The duvet was warm enough to sleep outside with so I opened the window. The heated floor is a nice touch with the no shoes policy. I much prefer heated floors to shoes. Check in was a breeze with my room and front door code emailed to me. It made my run that much easier without an additional item in my pocket. I would definitely stay here again, the location is perfect.
