The hotel is just ok Swimming pool area is never enough tidy up, i had to ask many time to clean the hairs and band aids arround the swimming pool, they never cleaned the glasses arround the pool. Breakfast doesn’t have natural juices 😢 And no restaurant in the hotel. Kids room doesn’t have any attraction for kids Staff is very friendly
The Holiday Inn Express in Iquique is a good venue. I give it only 4 stars because it really needs a remodelling. Otherwise I recommend it 100%. What is really nice is that they (as well as their "sister" hotels in Chile) a small "shop" where one can buy drinks, sandwiches, salads, coffe, etc. which for a Holiday Inn Express is very good option when you don't want to go out for dinner.
Great rooms. Beds are comfortable, pillows are great. Excellent front desk, they will help you with anything. Great service at the hotel store, but they could use a restaurant/bar. Breakfast is good..
It is located steps away from the walkable oceanside, Some rooms even have panoramic views over the ocean and as well over the (sand) mountain which "squeezes" the town towards the pacific. Nice breakfast.
A clean, value for money hotel located close to restaurants and bars. Go for an ocean view room, the sound of the breakers is soothing. Staff were always polite and helpful, and they spoke English fluently. In a city where tap water taste awful, bottled water in the room would be appreciated.
Good location, good price, nice personnel but windows need cleaning, overshadow the view to the great Pacific Ocean. I loved the breakfast bar, great variety of fresh bread, cold cuts and fruits. Good
This hotel is starting to show its age. The beds are worn and the air conditioners are old. The smell in the rooms is indicative of the wear. There are some positives. The rooms have coffee makers, irons, hair dryers, bath cloths (a rarity in Chile), and a complete breakfast. The price does not match the expected quality. The staff was friendly.
Short sunny long weekend, beach, shopping and a good rest, Good hotel deal by Booking.Com, nice clean place. Well served and better for IHG members. Great service at the front desk. Little moisty on hallways (No A/C)
Our Holiday Inn bedroom windows on the ground floor looked out over a patio area for drinkers and smokers. Everyone out there could watch our every move. The hand basins in the men's lavatories were full of what appeared to be a mixture of vomit and cold tea. The hotel's internet was very insecure. Our room safe did not work. Everything in the hotel was frayed and unlooked after. Plus points...position in town, and comfortable beds.
This hotel has most of what you would expect from a Holiday Inn - comfortable beds, safe in the room and an iron, but there's no fridge. The breakfast food is pretty low quality and the coffee is awful. It's handy for the Jumbo supermarket but a 30 minute walk into town, or 20 minutes in the other direction for restaurants. Traffic noise is quite bad. When we stayed, the pool was out of use due to maintenance (why doesn't the hotel tell you this when you book? You only find out when you arrive). Also the rear car park was having some maintenance, and we had to park outside. We have stayed at better hotels in Iquique for the same price.
