We had a great girls trip- big house, plenty of room, beautiful view and great location. The basement is a bit outdated and stuffy but overall no complaints!

I and a likeminded group have been coming to the White Mountains to mountaineer, ice climb, and ski for about 25 years. We have stayed in many different homes that were all very nice. Then we rented the Mountainside Home in North Conway...WOW!!! This place has been the very BEST! The house was clean, large enough to have space, and yet designed to come together. No matter what room you are upstairs provides a view of the mountains with Mount Washington in the background. After a hard day playing in the mountains, sitting in the hot tub located outside and looking at Mount Washington is such a treat. The house amenities was plentiful providing all you need to relax and cook for a large group. You could spend your entire vacation in the house without going anywhere and be fully satisfied or spend the entire day in the mountains only to enjoy the property in the evening. The owner was great. Communicated what was needed without invading your vacation time. He also went above and beyond with his customer service. Will I rent this again, ABSOLUTLY!

Lovely Stay in a Great Location

It's a big beautiful house in a great location. Separated enough to feel truly private (with a stunning view from the back porch all the way to Mt Washington on a clear day) while still being 20 minutes from the heart of town and so many restaurants. I'll treasure the memory of grilling for my family while watching the sunset over the mountains. The only criticism I would offer is that the bedrooms don't have much in the way of places to put things (drawers, tables, closet space) and the kitchen was short a few staples (olive oil, salt). That didn't stop us from having a lovely time and there are multiple grocery options close to the property. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Lovely large house, no instructions or communication

The house is large and very clean. Mostly very well appointed, a few exceptions such as only 3 teaspoons and one bedroom with a small double bed for adults. There is a large TV, but it is locked with the owner’s account. There are no instructions anywhere, TVs, pellet stove, hot tub, gas fireplace etc. No call to check that you are in okay. No phone number in case of an issue. I emailed both VRBO and the owner with no response from either. Pool table kept children entertained - a lot to enjoy, but no hospitality and it could have been a lot more fun.
