We hadn't expected to find ourselves staying at this fine establishment, we booked last minute due to unexpected poor weather on a motorcycle trip. On arrival we were by an extremely friendly, jovial and helpful owner. He could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. I had a single room which was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was very good. The town itself is very very quiet with a handful of shops and restaurants, a real get away from it all feel to hotel and town. Looking forward to returning

We arrived after a transatlantic flight and were so glad to see our hotel. The host (Martin) was very welcoming and allowed us to get to our room quickly. Our family room (we had 4 in our party) had more room than we expected. Very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Plenty of choices and a great pot of coffee. Martin made us feel like we were family coming for a visit. He recommended things for us to do during the day, and places for us to eat at night. We are already trying to decide if we can get back here again. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

You are away from it all here. Very quiet. But, you are still close to some nice restaurants, supermarket, and local attractions. The owner was very helpful about the local attractions and what time of day was best to see each one. The room was comfortable and clean. Only drawback was lack of fans for the bedrooms. Most of the European accomodations that have not moved forward with air conditioning at least have fans for hot days. Overall, it was a great value and a good place to stay.

Best Hotel I ever stayed in in Leutasch; great family; wonderful food; great family atmosphere. We really enjoyed the owner wearing his lederhosen all the time. The owner was very amusing. Spoke excellent English. Made me feel more like family than a guest. The Deserts were better than any Hotel we stayed in in Leutasch.

This is a family run 2-story guest house, which is clean and pleasant. The hosts are very helpful (gave me maps for exploring the area), the wifi connection was fast, and breakfast was great. I stayed in a single room which was small but comfortable. If you plan to visit some places around Leutasch, such as the Alpenbad hot springs, your reservation to the hotel includes a local visitors card, which gives you, among others, free entry to Alpenbad (worth half the cost of the room). The hotel is located on a small street right off the main road from Seefeld to Mittlewald, in the small community of Wiedach, just south of the local tourist office. Wiedach is one of the communities in the municipality of Leutasch, which is pretty large. So, once you arrived in the area, look for the street sign for Weidach (and not Leutasch). Overall, this is a great base for doing some mountain hiking and exploring the Leutasch Gorge.

Nice place to stay with very pleasant and helping people; motorcyclists friendly. 2mn to the supermarket which can be helpful. If dinner option wished, dinner served early (6.30pm). We totally recommend this place.

Great pension hotel in the mountains of Austria. Martin, the owner, was extremely friendly and engaging, and genuinely happy to suggest activities in the area. The room was very clean, and the food great!

The owners, Simone & Martin treated us like family. The room was extremely clean and one of the nicest we had stayed in Austria in the past 18 years. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was great. The owner was extremely entertaining with very funny stories and antidotes and great knowledge of the area from living there all his life. The game-room was very good. Great location in town. Have decided to make this our permanent vacation spot in Austria for years to come. Would not consider staying anywhere else. Ursula and Mark K from Palm Beach, Florida

Our 9th stay in Leutasch, our 7th stay at Bergfrieden. And again, a wonderful vacation! What a lovely family and a nice family hotel. We had the spacious Alpenrose flat and combined it with the dinner at the Bergfrieden restaurant. One’s hunger is satisfied when you leave the table. We are already looking forward to our 8th stay next year. Leutasch tut mir gut!

We stayed 12 days in pension Beergfrieden and found it very nice especially for the courtesy of Mr. Martin, for the excellent food and for the location. The kid had much fun. The only small issue has been that the room was quite small but we could arrange our luggage as well. Mr. Martin is very pleasant and always available to provide the guests with precious suggestions .
