It is located right off the interstate. There are places nearby to eat as well as places to fuel the vehicle. Very convenient. Nice facility. Nice rooms. Breakfast was ok. Slightly above your standard motel/hotel breakfast. People were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
There was something within the outside wall (i.e squirrel, mouse, etc.) that was scratching/moving around. I could here this at night while I was trying to sleep.
I was not happy with the service specifically breakfast. Considering we have COVID in hey we’re giving juice by pouring it instead of closed package

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. The morning breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Food was tasty with healthy eating options.

The hotel in general was a disappointment. We requested a non-smoking room, they had us sign a form stating we wouldn't smoke in the non smoking room. We respect that. When we opened the door to our "non-smoking room", we were immediately hit in the face with the stench of cigarette smoke! Another customer was checking in the room across the hall and she said she could smell our room from her doorway. She asked us to smell in her room and it was fine. We immediatley called the front desk and they "upgraded" us to a king room w/a kitchenette. When we asked for extra pillows we were told they would have to go take some from a room that was not booked. After 30 minutes we were told they did not have access to any. 10 minutes later, the desk clerk showed up with the two pillows we requested. My husband overheard one desk clerk speaking to another in our original request that "housekeeping will have our heads if we get in to their extra supplies". I'm scratching Holiday Inn Express's from our list of probabable hotel
Clean, nice sized-rooms. We especially enjoyed the gathering room off the lobby. Ten of us family members "took it over" one night. So much better than all cramming into one of our hotel rooms and tripping over one another (though the rooms are spacious). It was great having breakfast included, though it was more like a continental than full breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
Good location, clean hotel
We were in town for a funeral and found the HI Express to be a perfect place to spend the night. Very pleasant staff and the rooms were spotless and up to date. The only negative, and this is not the hotel's fault, is that there was a party in the adjoining room and the sound came through the door until well after 3 AM.
Was in town for business. The town is small and there is not much to do. But the hotel was good.
Overall our stay was a great experience. Two items of concern. 1. The entrance into the hotel was not well marked and was awkward, by a gas station etc. 2. The room we had (two queen beds)although comfortable, was not the rooms we reserved (one king). It was two rooms for two couples and neither of u received a king bed. Disappointing!!!!
