All was great until the septic pumping truck turned up at around 9.30 just as we were packing the car to leave. Foul smell overtook the entire area. This shouldn't happen until after 10 when all guests have checked out.

I was booked in #6 but given key for #9.problem easily solved but should not have occurred. The people in #9 did not appreciate the intrusion. I do not like the modern trend not to provide breakfast with the room. In a small town there often is no alternative to get breakfast. Can toilet paper get an thinner? This implies excessive cost cutting.

The staff at the property were very helpful, even though they were busy with a large and rather noisy tour group. The bathroom was great with a large shower, but I was disappointed with the seating offered in the room, rather spindly chairs, and a sofa that was too low for an older person with arthritis to sit on safely with any hope of getting up again.
