Malingstorp - Cottage with lake and sauna

Welcome to our grandmother’s old cottage in Tegnaby, just outside Växjö.

A warm and charming Småland cottage with a sauna, private jetty, and close access to the lake and surrounding nature. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful rural setting with an old garden filled with apple trees, flowers, and rhubarb, while Växjö is only ten minutes away. A place for relaxation, family time, and long days by the water.

Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented for SEK 100 per set. Final cleaning is not included.

The house is a classic Småland cottage with several rooms and plenty of space for up to eight guests. There are two bedrooms with double beds, as well as a room with bunk beds that is perfect for children or friends travelling together.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, a warm and lively room where our grandmother cooked and baked for many years. It is fully equipped and made for long breakfasts, shared dinners, and peaceful mornings with coffee around the kitchen table.

The living room has a soft and cosy atmosphere, with space to spend time together, read, or simply relax after a day outdoors. There is a long dining table with room for all guests.

The house has a full bathroom with a shower and washing machine, as well as an additional toilet.

Outside, you will find an old garden with apple trees, flowers, and rhubarb, a patio with sun loungers, a sauna, and a jetty by the pond. The pond connects to a lake with several opportunities for swimming.

This is an older house full of charm and character, surrounded by peaceful nature and a quiet village setting, just ten minutes from Växjö. A road runs outside the house.

Guests have access to the entire house, garden, sauna, jetty, and patio during their stay.
