02-04 February, 2018. This would be my first time in Hotel Lemon Tree in Indore. Once again, I was on official duty, and we were a team of seven. We had come in to the hotel at 10:40 am, from the airport. The hotel's check-out time was 12 noon. There were three rooms available rightaway, and these were handed over. That was quite understandable. The check-in agents were polite and cheerful. While we waited in the impressive common lounge area, as soon as guests checked out, rooms were assigned to us: a staff member came in and called us over. We were also treated to a complementary beverage and biscuits at the Citrus cafe. The brewed coffee was nice! Our request for an early breakfast for the morning of 03 and 04 February, 2018 was happily met. Sandwiches, fruits, bakes: yes, that would suffice for a breakfast at 06:00 am. I was the last to get a room: my room got ready at 12 noon. The common lounge has comfortable seats, and overlooks the rooms on three sides spread across the first to the fourth floors. The ground floor has the reception to the right on entering, straight ahead are the elevators, and to the left is the bar, The Slounge. The signature lemon tree insignia sculpture hangs from the ceiling. The rooms (from the first to the fourth floors) are located on well-lit corridors, which have some art works on the walls, in addition to small sculptures in lighted recesses. The common lounge area is illuminated by a nice combination of natural lighting, coming in from the ceiling and the sides. My room assigned was 303, on the third floor. It was a large room, split into two parts: the sitting and study area, with a small table, telephone and graded lighting (including a table lamp), a luggage rack, lots of drawers and cupboard space (including a wall-mounted space for clothes, and one containing a mini-refrigerator), a sofa and a glass table, a small area for hot beverages: an electric kettle, two mugs, and condiments, the air-conditioner control, a wall-mounted mirror, and a table with a flat-screen TV. The other partitioned area had a very nice and comfortable bed, graded lighting with two side-tables beside the bed with six pillows, and a large window covering the whole wall, with thick curtains to keep the bright light out. The bathroom was well equipped with all the works, and included three dispensers for hand wash soap, moisturiser and shampoo and conditioner. The bath space had a nice bathtub. The bathroom also had graded lighting, with Udaipur marble on the floor, the basin, and the bath tub. We patronised the complementary breakfast at the Citrus Cafe on 03 February morning. (There was some packed breakfast for us, which we had requested, we had also requested something for the 04 February morning, but somehow, that did not work out. The staff however organised something for us.) and checked out on the the latter day.
Decent food, neat and clean ambience. Well-constructed hotyel. vibrant place. Had come for a weddding reception. will recommend to others. It is value for money. Will visit again soon. good team at work.
Had stayed here for a short time. Good hotel with good rooms. Buffet food was good but there was a chinese gravy that day but no noodles or fried rice strange. Rest food was tasty. Room air conditioning is average.
Booking it over MMT and other websites will be better as direct booking is overpriced They upgraded my room Had nice time Refreshing experience Good food Very optimized operations and courteous service
Hotel at the heart of the city and quite difficult to figure out its the hotel, the front office staff are really helpful and check in was smooth. The room was spacious (it was a studio, with a separate sitting area.
The restaurant offers a conference buffet with limited options and that too is terribly overpriced. The service is although okayish with an average ambience. The billing experience was also clumsy and they acknowledged a mistake in the final invoice. Definitely not recommended if you are expecting a lavish buffet offering.
I had stayed here twice over my few business visits and I had a great time. The breakfast and dinner options are very nice. The in-room food is great. The location is just great. The staff is also very co-operative. Overall, highly recommended.
It was early morning arrival in the hotel from mumbai so had fast check in with the help of the lady there in the reception. The size of the room was good enough for a single person. Facilities were good at the hotel. As I had to check out early I could not explore much in the hotel, the breakfast was good in the hotel. Overall it was a good short stay.
As compared to Lemon Tree across the country, much below my expectations. Rooms are comfortable, but not extraordinary. The advantage is that it is in the heart of the city. Hence, a lot of places to walk around and also taste the street food.
Clean sheets, basic furniture, 3mbps speed, helpful staff (includes differently abled F&B staff) there is no reason to complain. At $50 a night which included breakfast and dinner it is great value for money!. They also have bicycles for the guests which is a nice touch. Indore is a tidy city and I enjoyed the morning walk. The food however is nothing to write home about. For example the moong dal halwa (lentil dessert) was prepared in oil (my mothers sensory perception took less than a second to make that declaration). I recommend the chef to take it off the menu if you cannot make in desi ghee (clarified butter) somethings just aren't done.
