Room smelled like urinal cake. No breakfast. Fridge was plugged in an outlet that didn’t work. Beds very uncomfortable.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever experienced. The rooms are clean. The king suite had plenty of room and a good bed. This chain does not have a good reputation at other locations. This property is well run. Do not let negative reviews regarding other properties in this chain dissuade you from staying here. Good value for the money. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I need lodging in the Independence, VA area.
This was an excellent hotel at a very good price. It was the only one remotely close to Grayson Highlands. We checked in at midnight with a very pleasant employee, everything was very clean, very comfortable bed. Please put in your description that there is a microwave and fridge in the rooms. This is a great perk!
A great price on a really clean room. No elevator so it was a little inconvenient to carry our bags up the stairs.
La persona encargada molesta a los guespedes por que según el no le dicen a el cuantas personas están en el cuarto cuando uno las pone en la recervación. y ademas cobraron extra por que según ellos lavaron las sabanas!!!!por que las encontraron en el suelo .Que no las tienen que lavar siempre que usen el cuarto.eso quiere decir que dan los cuartos sin sabanas limpias que asco de hotel y según son suites

I am responding to your feedback in hopes of clearing things up for you regarding your stay. Our room rate is based on 2 people per night whether it be a single bed room or a room with 2 queen beds. Our single bed room houses 1 or 2 people. Our rooms with the 2 queen beds house 1 to 4 people BUT the room rate is still based on 2 people. This is standard with almost all hotels. That is why we request the number of people in the party on the booking sites when booking a room whether it be a single bed (1 to 2 people) or a room with 2 beds (1 to 4 people). If an additional 3rd and/or 4th person is booked into our rooms with the 2 queen beds the rate increases slightly. When adding a 3rd or 4th person to the reservation on the booking site you will see the rate increase. So we did not charge you any extra to wash the sheets but to accommodate for the extra 2 people in your party that were not included in the original reservation. I assure you that the rooms are cleaned and sheets and blankets washed before any guest enters one of our rooms. Hope this makes things clearer. Have a great day
