We stayed at this hotel to be closer to the port and airport after 6 days in Seoul. Maybe we were spoiled in Seoul, but when we arrived here in Incheon we were so displeased. Check-in and the lobby was fine. We waited forever for the elevator because there are 3 and if you press one call button, it only calls the one elevator and not any of the 3 (so people pressed all 3 buttons, thereby slowing all the elevators down more). When we got to our room we were exhausted after travelling from Seoul for 90 minutes by train.... we immediately crashed on the bed and both were shocked by the hardness of the bed. So much so that we took the sheet off because my husband was convinced we were sleeping on just the boxspring. It was the hardest mattress of my life. I know this is Chinese-style, but I feel like sleeping on a park bench would have been more comfortable. We endured it for only the one night we had before leaving the next day. We requested extra blankets at the front desk which they brought quickly so we could sleep on top of the duvet to add a little padding to the bed and had the extra blankets overtop of us. Apart from the mattress, the rest of the service was good. The breakfast buffet the next morning was nice and the restaurant staff was so nice to let me stay after the buffet was closed because I was watching my husband's ship leave the port. The location is close to Chinatown and easy to get to by train - I can't walk too far (I have MS) and I could easily get there by foot from the train station. Although, I was tired when I got there and would have loved a nap on a comfortable bed. All in all, I just couldn't look past the awful bed. The bathroom was so-so - it was functional. There was a big ugly crack in our sink basin. The shower was considered luxurious as a rainfall shower, but I personally don't like those as I find it difficult to shower under. Thats just my own personal preference though and I wouldn't hold that against them. Also, I found a hair in the bed, and one on the shower sprayer. I'm not super grossed out by that stuff, aware that other people sleep in hotels too. But it certainly makes you wonder about the other cleanliness. But a hotel is to sleep in. And this bed was the worst I've ever had, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a single person - that is, if you want to sleep.
Stayed here for a night on our way to the Airport...Rooms are small...bathrooms are ok...aircon/heater controls are not working...had a hard time communicating with the staff as they don't speak english well...
Uninspiring hotel with limited reception skills. No greeting, in fact quite sullen. Room was very acceptable, clean and comfortable. Poor indication in room of what the hotel offered. Next day discovered the roof top restaurant and had a very nice breakfast with good service. Speedy checkout with no issues. Overall OK experience but it wouldn't take a great deal to make this hotel very good.
- The hotel is quite close to the subway station, only about 7 mins walk. - it is located right opposite to the China town that you can go get chinese food. However, china town is pretty boring. So little people and very quiet. - the room was quite small and the amenities were ok. - the air con was not really stable, sometimes were too cold and sometimes were too hot. - the breakfast buffet was limited and they were almost exactly the same for everyday i stayed there.
It did the job. Nothing especially memorable, but worked fine. The gym was larger than expected, and the breakfast was good. The room was small functional, the mattress was hard, but everything worked well.
ROOM Furnishing: Not very stylish but in good conditions Cleanness: Clean like all Korean hotels Room size: OK Bed: very hard – no so comfortable to sleep (for me, I don’t like it hard) Wi-Fi: free, but slow HOTEL Personal: friendly, English is not very good Breakfast: Buffet, quite ok for Korea
Korean Air put me up here on a stopover on the way home from Sydney, and it couldn't have been better. The room was large and clean and modern (I loved the techy toilet and automatic blackout blinds), and the breakfast food was tasty. The whole process from airport pick up to collecting from the hotel in the morning went very smoothly, and staff were very helpful. Incheon was seriously cold after the heat of Australia, but the hotel was warm and cosy. Would happily fly Korean Air again just for this,
I had planned this layover to explore Wolmido area which is near the ICN airport. They do not have airport pick up so you can either take a Taxi or take the #6 bus to Jeong-Ju area. The bus will drop in front of the hotel which was nice. I had a harbor view room which was the best view. I slept wonderfully and even took a cab to a nearby area for Korean BBQ. Brunch in the morning was not continental as I'd expected but it was good, just a bit overpriced. If you stay here, be sure to take a walk in the Wolmido park. It was a short taxi ride there and the lobby will help you get there.
I was plwased to be here in harbor bark Every thing was nice staff housekeeping and breakfast was awesome specialy for me because I donot eat korean food they prepare som thing special for you Slso rooms was well equiped with everything Location near china town and wolmi is a verygood advantage donot miss them Also near subway
This was very much a nice hotel, especially for the price. Ask for room on higher floor as the views are really beautiful, depending which side your on. The bed was comfortable and large. Very nice bathroom. Loved the lighting choices in the rooms. Also, loved the full length window, open the curtains and you get a full view of Incheon. Restaurant was okay, food was either asian specialities which I am not used to or plain western food but breakfast did come free with booking so cant complain. Awesome location to do sightseeing of area eg. Chinatown, Wolmi Island. Close to Incheon train station. Nice layover hotel. Wouldn't recommend to stay your whole stay in South Korea here, as it is nice to stay in area for awhile but also a dated area with much upgrades needed.
