Upon arriving at the Residenza Il Colle, we were taken back by the stunning views. What a location ! Upon arrival the staff were super friendly and welcoming and after a quick tour we were left to ourselves. The pool is stunning and relatively quiet and gets the sun all day and evening but there are umbrellas. The accommodation puts on a nice breakfast from 0800-1000 and then you can have snack and drinks from 5pm which is great and if you ask nicely you can get a cheeky Aperol in during the day ;), they have a whatsapp service with wifi everywhere to its easy to contact them. Our room was quite big with a huge window facing the view and courtyard. The hotel is located about 30 mins by taxi from Florence. We didnt have a car but the walk into Impruneta was very easy and takes about 18 -20 mins. We dined in Impruneta every evening and everytime it was brilliant. For 2 adults this was perfect for our 4 nights in Tuscany. Thank you to Residenza Il Colle (Sabina, Claudia, and the amazing drinks man!) highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Il Colle. Everything was just perfect, starting with the reception when Claudia was very cordial and made us feel so welcome, to the breakfast that was incredibly copious and delicious, the magical views of Florence and beyond, the rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful, and of course the property is pristine and impeccably landscaped along with a gorgeous infinity pool to cool off after beautiful days of sightseeing. All in all just such a memorable and magnificent stay.

Peaceful retreat

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to rest near Florence. We feel very blessed to have found Residence II Colle. Everything was special the moment we arrived. The classic Tuscan vista, the accommodation, the staff, the food and people of Tuscany were all wonderful. We will return again for a longer visit to explore all of Chianti. Thank you!

Everything was amazing. Sabina was very kind and gracious. She gave us tips and accommodated us last minute. The property was extremely well kept and relaxing that we wished we were able to stay an extra day or two to soak it all in. You have views like no other perfect for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Quaint and tranquil, we would definitely stay here again. Best bed and breakfast we have stayed while in Italy rooms are clean and updated without losing the Tuscany essence of the region. Loved it!

Overpriced

I think this place is overpriced. The good things were the location, surroundings and amazing view. Place is very clean and the staff is nice but the quality of the service is not that great. Air con didn't work, and you couldn't leave the window open because of the insects. The worse was that in our room we could've heard people and noise from the next room like we were in the same room. The breakfast and coffee was very disappointing as well, very poor.

Absolutely gorgeous property with views of Tuscany and beautiful grounds to explore. Room was not great though as the sink was leaking from the base so the floor got a little flooded and the shower would only work super scorching hot so we had to take 2 min showers to avoid burning ourselves. Breakfast also missed the mark with machine produced coffee. When I tried to make a latte it added water instead of milk. The gorgeous scenery though made it good value for money though given we’d booked a smal room.

Our room was in a classic Tuscan villa on a hill overlooking beautiful scenery in every direction. The villa offered a pool and beautiful grounds with well maintained gardens. The staff was helpful, friendly, and personable answering our questions and giving us helpful directions about the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodations were clean, attractive, and abundantly charming, and the location provided an ideal base for day trips to surrounding areas such as Florence and other nearby attractions. The nearby town of Imprunetta was charming with good dining and provisioning. Overall an excellent experience that we would highly recommend.

Amazing views in the heart of Tuscany

Great hotel with fantastic views. Room 10 was a bit small but the terrace made up for it. Decent breakfast but avoid the coffee out of the machine. Just as a warning, front desk is not maned after 6pm but owner is on site to sort out any issues.

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa on the top of a hill, overlooking the Tuscan vineyards. The villa had a lovely breakfast and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the view with some wine. Staff were friendly and room was a good size. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing room! Exactly what you would expect from a classic Tuscan stay! The bed was comfortable, bathroom was great, nice shower! Air conditioned, and the antique furniture fit the setting perfectly! Breakfast was amazing and you can eat it on a balcony overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan scenery. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a romantic trip to Tuscany! Florence is a 40 minute drive North of the hotel, but a bus from Impruneta heads there every 15 minutes as well. The town of Impruneta is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you're venturing out I highly recommend seeing Siena as well! About an hour and 20 minutes south of the hotel but well worth the trip!

A small gem in beautiful Tuscany!!

This small hotel is a gem. The hotel and grounds are beautifully kept. The scenery is beyond spectacular. We booked this very last minute, based mostly on other reviews which gave it a great rating. We were not disappointed, it is so lovely. Hoping to return to Tuscany again and I will definitely return to Residenza Ill Colle.

A slice of Tuscan heaven!

We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Il Colle. We used it as our home base as we took day trips in the surrounding area. It is very close to Florence and an easy drive to Siena, Pisa, Luca, the Chianti Winery region and even to Cinque Terre. The town of Impruneta (where the B&B is located) is charming as well. Rodrigo was very friendly and so very helpful. We arrived late on our first night and he took the time to find a restaurant that was still open, even leading us in his car to the restaurant as we followed. David was very pleasant and helpful as well. The villa is beautiful inside and out with an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside. The roads surrounding the area are not very wide and very winding making it even more thrilling. We stayed for 5 nights and hated to leave. We were very impressed with Residenza Il Colle! It was a wonderful experience in Tuscany.

Amazing experience! We are traveling in Italy for about 2 weeks and sleep at a different hotel every night, this hotel was the best in terms of views from the room and the pool/terrace, and in terms of the staff being very friendly and helpful. The owner guy didn't even want to charge us for the water we took from the minibar. Amazing spot for a romantic vacation. A bit hard to find but I guess it's a good thing...

Extraordinarily beautiful and peaceful location!

Residenza Il Colle is located on a scenic hilltop overlooking beautiful Tuscan countryside. The hotel is not in a tourist area, but a residential area in Impruneta, and the result is a peaceful, lovely stay. The rooms, the lobby and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very helpful with information and reservations. The morning breakfast is healthy and fresh (but buy your coffee off the premises instead of using the automated machine). This is a wonderful hotel, and I recommend it highly. Visit the church and the piazza, and have a meal or two at Nyx in Impruneta. You will not regret choosing this wonderful hotel.
