"Went hiking on the Nakasendo Trail. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, as it is one of the closest and best hotels in the vicinity.
Overall, it was a good experience. Staff were courteous, as usual, with the Japanese hospitality. The room is clean, but a bit tired. Could do with a renovation.
Buffet is good, a wide spread of food and drinks, and the quality is good. Service staff are friendly and extremely hardworking. Except you get the same Breakfast and Dinner menu every day. I think they don't expect anyone to stay beyond 1 day. No other restaurants nearby, so you don't have much of an option.
