We spent New Year’s Eve in the lighthouse. Three nights total, unfortunately, it rained the whole time so we were stuck inside… However, the house had everything we needed there. I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO‘s and this one was definitely well equipped with everything we needed. We definitely got our exercise going up and down the stairs to the bedroom and the bathroom! The bed was very comfortable too. When the clouds cleared a little bit, we could see down into the flat land… It was a beautiful view out all of the picturesque windows, you feel like you are in the tree tops. everything worked well, and we would definitely book this quaint lil lighthouse again!

Host is incredibly responsive, place was exactly as advertised/pictured. My husband, toddler, our family dog and I loved it! To the point we are thinking of doing the same next year! Pretty spacious, beautiful views, all necessary amenities!

Perfect retreat for a weekend getaway with children. I Loved the patio, to sit and watch the sunset. The kids loved the tire swing in the back. I’m definitely recommending this to family and friends.

Absolutely gorgeous rental -- so cozy with amazing views. Short drive to town and hikes. We brought both our dog and cat and they loved it there as much as we did. Would rent again!

My husband, our dog, and I stayed at Paul’s place for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we had a wonderful experience. The home was exceptionally clean and comfortable for all three of us. We loved the charming lighthouse-style design and the stunning views of the mountains, trees, birds, and both sunrise and sunset.Our dog especially enjoyed exploring the upstairs balcony and the fenced area downstairs. The location was also perfect—close to Idyllwild, dog-friendly hiking trails, nature centers, and great restaurants.We highly recommend this place!

Checkin was a breeze and everything was as advertised! There was plenty of space for us (4 adults and a dog) and we actually spent most of our time inside playing games and enjoying the gorgeous scenery and coziness of the place. Also a super easy trek to town. Cant wait to come back, thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

We wanted to get away for the weekend and this place was perfect! This property was clean, cozy, relaxing, and had everything we needed. There were views from every window and the sunset view between the trees was beautiful! The checking in and out instructions were simple. Communication with the host was clear. We couldn’t have picked a better place, and we enjoyed the stay so much that we are already thinking of when we can come back.

We loved our stay here! The lighthouse theme was so cute and the house was decorated impeccably. It was also very clean and outfitted with towels, amenities, coffee, etc. so we had everything we needed!Great communication with the property owner as well! Would recommend!

We were lucky to find this beautiful place when the weather turned and camping was no longer an option. Our host was very accomodating and was able to allow us to check in early to a very clean, spacious private cabin that is more like a light house, with amazing views in the Pine Cove area. Wonderful 5 star stay!
