With its charming exterior and fully renovated interior this lil cabin will steal your heart. Designed for comfort and relaxation. High end beds and bedding, adorable new bathroom, relaxing esthetic throughout, with mood lighting to match. Located just steps, (literally a 3 to 5 minute walk to downtown). If experiencing the town of Idylwild is your goal you can't get much closer than this.
This adorable cabin nestled amongst the old growth pines, is one of the originals here in Idylwild. Located on a very large lot providing plenty of space to unwind, relax, BBQ and take in the mountain fresh air. At 5,500ft above sea level we do get snow. Inside is a cozy dining nook, a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen with marble counters, gas stove, coffee making options for those coffee connoisseurs and all you will need to cook and bake. The living (or should we say relaxing ) room invites you to cozy up on the couch with a blanket and good book or to watch a classic movie.
Take a stroll down to the creek, pop into the museum only 1/4 block away or indulge yourself at one of the finer eateries, sip delicious wine and either wine bar or cook your favorite meal and stay in either way is a win.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Beautiful cabin

This was a beautiful cabin! It was bright yet still had the feeling of a cozy cabin. Everything was very clean. The owner was very dear. She was so kind to us and was able to explain everything even though we have not stayed much at a VRBO.I know she cares a lot about this beautiful cabin and also cares a lot that the guest have a wonderful time. We were able to walk everywhere.We hope to stay here again.

Lovely home conveniently located

This property is very well kept and in a pleasant, quiet location just minutes walk to the town center. It was more spacious than I expected, and was more than I needed for just me. It would be great for a little family getaway in Idyllwild.

What a great place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed and well thought out retreat. We didn’t want to leave! Quiet and peaceful, we can’t recommend it enough. We hiked, enjoyed meals in town and enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio. We will be back!

The perfect place to stay!

We loved our stay here. The house is about as close as you can get to the center of town, making it easily walkable to many places. The home is gorgeous. It's spacious, has beautiful decor, and is stocked with everything you could need. The owner is also very responsive and was quick to assist with anything needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The host, we wrote her via VRBO app at 8 am (ish) because of the main drain back up she responded at 430pm (give or take), & said the plumber would arrive in 30 minutes, & he arrived at 6/6:30 pm. We couldn't use the only restroom for almost the whole day, there were feces in the tub and toilet during this wait. Using the gas stations. Then called me the next day to yell at me that the house was trashed, "THERES SH*$EVERYWHERE", "YOU'RE THE BIGGEST SLOBS EVER", ect. I wasn't rude or combative, I asked to move the conversation via text & I requested pictures and an invoice of what she was referring to since we had picked up. She accused us of having a party, but that did not happen. She sent a picture of the BBQ grill inside & refuses to give me the rest of the pictures or an invoice, but has taken it upon herself to charge me more. Once she found out 1 of us didn't speak English, she said, & quote, "Maybe it's a cultural thing but here it is customary to respect other people's property, to leave a place better than you found it". She threatened to charge me for the plumbing too & even had the audacity to thank me for reminding her of that. I've never been so insulted & so offended in my life. We washed dishes and threw trash out and she is charging additional cleaning fees without proof because the working half of the grill we used wasn't cleaned off. Also, we could not find grill cleaning utensils & we don't travel with them on hand.

Beautiful cabin

We loved everything about this beautiful cabin! It was really a highlight of our stay, and that’s saying a lot in Idyllwild. The property owner was very responsive with our questions, it was extremely clean and well taken care of, and we really enjoyed making this our home for a week. I will definitely be staying here when I come back.
