All was great. just could not get wi fi to work and only got one channel on TV....but maybe I did not know how to work the TV and I did not call staff

It's a quaint and comfortable roadside motel with a cabin feel. Raj, the proprietor, is accomodating to the level of 5 stars. We had a quick and informative check in process. We thought our shower didn't work, but Raj was there to show us it did in a matter of minutes. There was a basket of fresh scones, fruit and juice at our door in the morning. And when we were miles away, Raj called and said we forgot some shoes and jackets in the closet. Not to worry, boxed them up and sent them the next day. Well done Raj. We'll be back for sure.

Awesome place to stay. Great location and the owner Raj was great.

Loved the Idllywild Bunkhouse! Will return! Raj was a great host and very friendly.

Unit had two bedrooms, and one bath. Access to bath was through main living area/bedroom. The other bedroom had a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, sink and coffee maker. Very old hotel and personable owners who do their best to make sure everyone is happy. Continental breakfast is provided and is very nice. We had read that there can be a lot of noise between units, but we experienced none. There is some traffic noise from the road, but ear plugs were provided and they helped. The owners have not had the place too long and are working on updating it. Certain details seem to be overlooked for now, and hopefully they will get there. We really liked the location and the laid back atmosphere and would not hesitate to stay there again.

First visit to this hotel. Will definitely revisit. Great location. Friendly owner. Comfortable and clean room.

Place was very clean and comforting. I would recommend this place to a friend and I will definitely be coming back myself.

I booked this hotel because I thought it would be a nice rustic spot to stay for my partners birthday weekend. It was much too "rustic" for me. From what I can tell, the entire building needs to be completely renovated. In our room alone, the walls were far too thin (we could hear our neighbors on both sides), the 'carpet' had no padding so I could feel the uneven floor boards underneath, the bathroom much too small, with a shower that was dirty and was in desperate need of replacing, and the entire building felt slanted...as if it might slide off the mountain. Aside from that, the room was not cleaned well (there was a build up of dust along the edges of the room), a bottle cap still left on the floor in the corner of the room, and the shower floor was peeling. Hard to describe other than I skipped taking a shower the second day because I didn't want to step with bare feet into that shower again. Other issues of note: out-of-date TV mounted on the wall, with the DirecTV box on the desk near by...with plugs and cords litterally hanging in the air from outlets to TV, to DirecTV Box, etc...there was 1 extension cord, but I didn't want to use it because one of the plugs was black from being burnt out I assume. All in all, I would suggest paying more for a cleaner, nicer, and up-to-date hotel.

The Bunkhouse reminds me of a 50's style motel, but has been renovated to keep up with the times. Small can be quaint, actually. Simple. Nothing fancy. Clean and comfortable. Nice place for a short getaway.

Nice rustic room in a beautiful location near town. The room was small but comfortable. The balcony overlooking the area was the best part. Our only gripe was everything smelled pretty dusty. My wife's allergies were worse inside the room vs outside in the mountains in the spring. It was clean but really needed a spring cleaning.

Raj the owner is fantastic and makes your stay the best.

We had the entire motel to ourselves because of our timing, mid-week and the week before Thanksgiving
