Finca Las Barandas, La Acacia
La Acacia, built in traditional Canarian country style, was formerly used to store farm tools, workers' clothes and some of the harvest. The main bedroom today was not connected to the rest of the house and was used to feed and house cows or pigs. In the Canary Islands, this is called a Gañanía. Located on a banana plantation with other fruit trees. Very close to San Marcos beach, less than a 10-minute walk along Camino Las Barandas, Icod de los Vinos, north-west of the island. Views of Mount Teide and the sea, for those seeking peace and quiet.
