Good location, a lot of security around of the area. Excellent facilities, the main restaurant has a nice pool view, the waitres are very kind, they give you very good advice what to choose when you order your food . Food is really good that I enjoyed specially the dessert ( chirimoya with merengue) just spectacular. The hotel look likes a little town ( it is not easy to find your room the first day ) The rooms are ok, like 3 stars hotel, could be better for the price that your are paying but it is compensate for the other facilities ( restaurants, pools, bars and people) In general the service are really good they are always iba good mood and they always try to help you.

The hotel looks good, the rooms are spacious, it was clean, but needs a bit of renovation. But the bad surprise was the restaurant. The temperature was maybe 16°, no way to ask the staff to close the door to avoid the temperature to go down. A very long time after having ordered, they tried to deliver the main courses before the starters. But the dishes were not bad. Just they have no idea about service.

We stayed for two nights in the hotel. As a resort it has a lot to offer, but it is dated. Just about requiring a refurbishment in the short term. The facilties are good, rooms have a very good size. Breakfast was great with a very wide selection. A lot of activities on offer in the resort from sand hill climbing ans surfing to the ordinary pool activities. On the first night we had a great meal at the pool side restaurant, food service and wine was terrific. On the second night it took the hotel 4 hours to get the food to our table, the wine was corked and the service was absolutely miserable. It seemed like it was the first time waiters and cooks tried exectuing their duties. A very bad night for everybody concerned. If this was a hick-up the hotel can be recommended. If this was normal fare - stay away.

This place is fantastic for those with family and kids. This is you typical Caribbean all inclusive resort but located in Peru. Grate for the family. If you are looking for a more peaceful romantic getaway. This is not the place to be filled with kids ages 2-18. So not a place to relax lots of activities a small spa with semi de ent prices grate staff grate room. Will come back if I am looking for fun vs peaceful rest. What would make this place even better if the included a quote zone and pool area no kids. But overall a grate experience

We booked a package of three days and two nights with meal included. Our experience in Las Dunas , Ica was the best. This hotel doesn’t just offer a wonderful stay, it also offers a spectacular meals with very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent location, near to attractions. Must stay here

Very well located, great care of the green spaces and swimming pools, nice restaurant and bar by the pool, and good services. The rooms are very big and quite comfortable! Perfect for families with kids, so they can move around and have lots of fun

I have just gotten back to Lima from the Hotel Las Dunas - (Ica). It all starts when you get there...the friendliness of the people, the rooms, the food, the pool... what can I say.... I love this place !

We spent our first two nights in Peru at Hotel Las Dunas. From there we were able to visit Paracas and Isla Ballastras. The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was huge. There was a mini fridge stocked with drinks. There are multiple pools and activities on the property, including some horses and llamas. Breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was excellent with excellent service and a bottle of local Ica wine.

Las Dunas is very good and fantastic, I love the place very good staff and good service, the food amazing absolutely fantastic. My family are very satisfied with the food, we would love to recommend this Las Dunas to every one.

This resort is very pleasant. The grounds are very well kept with roosters and chickens and other animals running around. The rooms are adequate with air conditioning and a great shower (i would recommend maybe having ceiling fans would make the room perfect). The pools are great (3 pools: two quiet pools and one activity pool with a slide and 2 kiddie pools: one quiet and one with splash pads and slides). They have a variety of activities (fooseball, ping pong, giant chess, tennis, basketball, bikes, horseback riding, sandboarding, dune buggies). For children, they have castle dunas which has tons of toys kids can play with, a playground, and little tikes and step 2 houses and slides. The restaurant on site has great food for lunch and dinner. If you're there on a package you get a pre fixe menu that includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and juice of the day or you can order from a menu. My only issue with the food was breakfast. It was buffet everyday with bread, lunch meat, cheese, and fruit and two eggs cooked to order. I get that this is typical peruvian breakfast, but if you're trying to be a resort that appeals to a variety of people, it should have a rotating menu. also if you are on the plan, but have children, they will charge you s/10 if they share off your plate. my daughter is less than 2, so we didn't have to pay for her to stay at the resort but even if she had just a bite of bread or a piece of watermelon, they would charge us, even if that is all she ate (i think this is a little ridiculous...if she isn't being charged for the stay as per policy, then she shouldn't be charged for eating off our plate during breakfast. If this resort wants to really be top notch, they should maybe offer and all inclusive package with drinks included. The wifi in the rooms was sketchy....the wifi near the bars and restaurant were best. i understand it's Peru, but i think if they had secure wifi and gave you a password, they can make the signals better without people outside the resort stealing it (as the rooms were near the streets) Overall, I think this is a great family resort, but i think with a few tweaks, I wouldn't think twice about returning.
