Stayed here in oct 17 after Monarch colapse, was wary of San Antonio due to reputation for the younger generation may be we were lucky as there were not to many clubbers left in October the bay itself was a beautiful setting and the walks very relaxing the hotel itself was of a good standard the room we had was on the 5th floor which boasted coffee and tea making equipment fridge and safe (no charge) food was of a reasonable standard and settings immaculately clean, a Lidl supermarket opposite for anything you needed, I must admit after 10 days of relative quiet a bar with a bit of music would not have gone amiss, all in all a lovely place
Great location.lovely hotel.helpful staff.great food...but let down by young brits returning in the early hours..we can all go out and enjoy ourselves but when returning to hotel have some respect for others please..not everybody in ibiza is out clubbing untill 5 am in the morning..😎
Stayed here as we wanted a bit more of a quiet hotel but still close enough to the action. Check in was easy but being early we had to store our bags and go for a wander. The room was basic but sufficient for 3 nights. Bathroom was clean and tidy and did what it said on the tin. Our balcony over looked the entrance which was nice as the view was better. The pool was good too, quite big but not enough loungers for the amount of people and it wasn't even that busy. The bar was good, we didn't opt for all inclusive which was a mistake so i would recommend to do that if its in your budget. Great tunes and vibe around the pool too. My only criticism was that i got pick pocketed one even taking my phone and wallet and consequently the key too and the reception were less than helpful with that just demanding 25 euros. Also the hotel name is printed on the tag along with your room number.....not very helpful. You're also just over the road from the massive supermarket.
Stayed 8th to 15th Oct. Hotel was gd.3* so we got what we expected. It was very clean, staff worked hard. Mixture of age groups. My bed I found to be very squeeky which was a little annoying but still comfortable. Hotel located Right behind Eden, 5 min walk from the town centre/harbour. Most of the nightlife has closed for the season but a few pubs still open and 1 or 2 clubs. Free breakfast was fab, Plenty to eat. Loads of places to eat close by. Pools nice tho just a little bit cold for me but plenty still using it. No animation on. San Antonia is pretty quiet at this time of year so if your looking to party hard I go earlier in the season. We enjoyed a quietish week of nice weather 😁
We stayed here 21st October for 4 nights. Hotel was clean and reception staff very helpful and welcoming. Wifi was great in the hotel and around the pools. Hotel breakfast a bonus as was served till 12noon, great choice too. Hotel is over the road from Lidl which is very handy for drinks and snacks. Within 10 mins walking distance to local bars and restaurants. very low key in October but enough for 4 nights. Weather was perfect too! All in all great hotel and would stay here again.
A very nice hotel stayed for 4 days a group of 5 females stayed half board. swapping dinner for lunch one day was no problem the food was probably the best I've had in a spanish hotel very nice.the staff spoke English and were most helpful ringing for taxis. Excellent spacious rooms Two pool areas one with music one a quiet area ample sunbeds and parosols.surprisingly for October the hotel provided entertainment i would definitely recommend this hotel.
Visited August 2017 Rooms was old fashioned and run down our wardrobe was broken and the middle drawer under the wardrobes was jammed shut however the beds were comfortable and good quality shower. The main thing that really stuck out about this hotel was the awful sewage smell that came from the reception area next to the lifts! This smell was constant it really made me feel sick when I enquired about it at the reception I was told that the hotel manager was aware and looking into it however nothing was ever done. The reception staff were so rude no customer care skills what so ever! What is good about this hotel is it's location but that's about it. I would return to Ibiza in a heart beat but will definitely be avoiding this hotel.
Our party occupied rooms 306, 312, and 240, during a long weekend in Ibiza, in September 2017. We found the hotel to be very clean and in a very good state of repair, with Reception staff who were very friendly, and attentive. In my case they were even happy to patch me up, when I injured myself when I bumped into an item of furniture from an al-fresco restaurant. The staff in general were fantastic. The house keepers seemed to know my routine, and always cleaned my room when I went down to breakfast. They were even nice enough to neatly fold, and arrange my cloths, which I had left strewn on the kids bed in my room. The bar and restaurant staff were great, we certainly found them to be friendly, and obliging. I felt that at least saying a few words, in very poor Spanish, ingratiated ourselves to them. While it did not bother me, it is worth noting that the window of the bathroom in room 306, has a clear glass, and is overlooked by an adjacent balcony, although the window is high enough to hide one’s modesty, while on the toilet, and the shower glass is opaque to provide privacy, other parts of the bathroom can clearly be seen. The breakfast buffet which ran between 0800 and 1200 had a fair selection of hot, and clod options and were in plentiful supply throughout the service period. I was personally not a fan of any of the sausages, and found the orange juice, which was from an electronic dispenser, seemed to be water with a tinge of orange colour. Neither WiFi nor the safes are free to use. The safes which are key operated carry a daily charge, and a deposit for the key. I opted not to use any of these additional services, as I did not have any valuables I wanted to leave in the room, and my mobile broadband is free when I am in Europe. This hotel is well located, being within a 10 minute walk from the West End, Eden, Es Paradis, a supermarket, a go kart track, and a host of shops, and restaurants. The hotel certainly suited our needs, which were a clean, central place to spend a few days in Ibiza.
Stayed here for 4 nights. They hotel reception were very nice & the hotel was basic. We was in room 211 (originally in 117) but asked to move as it was in the corner of the hotel above the reception & very dark & dull. Room 211 was a little better looking onto the palm trees & the road outside the hotel. The room was very basic, we was in part of the hotel what hadn't been refurbed yet & only english channel on the TV were news. Breakfast was good, eggs were freshly fried & quite a bit to choose from & as much tea/coffee/juice as you wanted. The chill out pool was nice, never any trouble getting a bed but it is mid october. I think the resort spoiled the holiday for us, not much to do or places to go as everywhere is basically shut, the bus station is behind the hotel (4min walk) & we got the bus for €4 each return to Ibiza port (number 3 bus & takes around 30mins each way). Lots to do & see so is worth a visit. We found 1 bar open near our hotel called 'dubs diamond bar' but it's not worth a visit, €15 for an hours drink as much as you want. But the drinks are terrible, hardly any vodka in my vodka coke. Overall the hotel is good. You get what you pay for. But for us we wouldn't return to san antonio bay as its to quiet in october with everything closed down & I guess it's to busy in summer season.
My husband and myself are just back from this hotel 1 day ago and it was fantastic . We were in room 509 and it was 1of the newly refurbished rooms which are absolutely beautiful . The hotel reception staff are so accommodating and the dining room main man Tony makes sure everyone is happy . We were never stuck for anything to eat at meal times they cater for all tastes Highly recommend this hotel if you want a quite time and relax in either of their 2 pools and the animation guys are brilliant as well x
