Spent two weeks there in2014 and it was closing down around us then ,payed a visit this may 2016 and thank god they had knocked it down ,it is being rebuilt and it will look fantastic we had a good look round and looking at the layout it will be one of the best views on the island can't wait

Stunning scenery, friendly staff. Not great for people with walking difficulties. The food was average, but the place was dirty especially by the children's pool area, such a shame because the hotel could be amazing. A few tweaks are definitely needed. Had a lovely holiday though despite this and met some really nice people.

I have visited this hotel 2 years ago in May. I've had a room with nice view. Food was so so to be honest. Friendly staff. I have visited other places because was nothing to so in this hotel. in this area was only one pub open. If you like fresh king prawns you can visit one restaurant on the beach in 10 min walk from this hotel. Next to this restaurant I'v pe had lovely sangria!! You can use internet on your device but you will need to pay for this. Lovely burgers in pool bar. Poor entertainment!!

We always said that if it came on any website we would go to the vista Bahia .what a istake .the worst 2weeks ever from the apartment to the food entertainment very poor the pool area was filthy .then to cap it all the day before our departure they told all the guest they where moving us to another hotel .no wonder it is now closed down

My family and i travelled to Ibiza last year, staying at Club Vista Bahia. After reading all of the reviews made, I may as well post the review now since the hotel is now closed. First of all, when we arrived, our room was still getting cleaned! So we faced a 2 hour wait for our room. As this hotel was only 3 stars, we didn't expect the food to be amazing, but at lunch, the kids had a plate of chips as there was nothing like chicken nuggets etc. The juice machines were not working, so we were left with nothing to drink. Luckily we had purchased bottles of juice at the shop below. When we had finished eating, we decided to go to the pool. We climbed the long flight of stairs with our heavy suitcases, and arrived at our room, On the balcony was scrappy cheap looking chairs and a table, which had stains on them. They were white, so the stains looked even worse. We entered our room to des over a strong smell of toilet waste coming from the toilet in the bathroom. There was 3 beds rammed together for the children with thin white sheets, which were clean! Round the corner there was 2 more single beds, meant for my husband and I! We joined the beds together as they were far too thin to sleep if we hadn't done so. There was a brown stain on my pillow, the pillow was also solid, so I was left sleeping on the mattress with no pillow. We went down to the pool after we had unpacked most of our clothes. We had a dilemma with the lilos that we had just purchased. A man and a young girl approached us asking for their lilo back. I explained that it as ours,cue had just purchased it. The pool was dirty. Grass floating in the water, grime in between the tiles. Under the waterfall area was a massive slimy patch, which I kept the kids away from! The pool side bar had a very miserable man working in it, who couldn't understand English. Greasy chips and grey coloured chicken with batter on a burger bun! Also stale biscuits in a mouldy tub. Night time entertainment was poor for the children. Every like 2 days two miserable Spanish women from the shop would put on music and dance. Every other nights was a country singer. We finally got sick of the food and walked down to a massive beach with resteraunts and shops as we were sick of the rocky beach with massive drops and huge lizards provided at the hotel. We got decent food from the resteraunt topped off with some icecream which wasn't provided at the hotel unless you purchased it. My daughter was pleased to see a women who was braiding hair as she was waiting for that for the full holiday. - The staff were very polite, but the hotel was dirty, not a good selection of food, fly invested resteraunt, terrible entertainment.

Let me start by saying that we are well travelled and have spent our holidays the past 15 years at three star hotels all over Spain. We are well aware of the concept of All Inclusive and don't expect luxury. We stayed at this hotel July 8-22, 2014. The positive with this hotel is the location; breath taking sunsets and in a secluded area. And very helpful and nice staff doing what they can with the little means at hand, despite not having been paid since May... The negative... Well, grab a cuppa... * Pool area is v-e-r-y dirty, to the point of your flip flops sticking to the tiles. Manager tried to fool us by saying it was cleaned daily, while staff had shared with us that they pick up the areas every evening or morning, but only one pool area (out of a total of 5 sunbed areas) is cleaned every night (I e hosed down & scrubbed). This resulted in invasions of flies having a buffet with all the spilled drinks and foods, making it impossible to stay there any longer time even if the sun beds had been comfortable... * Sunbeds are a joke, worn to the point that they can't be fixed by stretching the rubber bands any longer. The materials are too worn and damaged. * Towels and bedding is old and worn, they're clean, but stained. Some even has holes in them. * The food is the worse we've ever seen at any AI we've been to; chicken wings or chopped up, grilled parts/bones of chicken every day. One warm vegetable every day (Think frozen veggies heated and sprinkled with oil & garlic), "Meat" was either stew of some kind or breaded and fried "something" (I even don't want to analyse it!), fish was rather ok, at least the days the alternative wasn't fried cod balls (Think deep fried meatballs made of fish...). Friday nights meal was the only day you could enjoy dinner - paella and mussels. They served a macaroni paella one other day as well. I think our picky 15 year old daughter described the meals best - "Even the school lunch would have been better than this!". The childrens buffet was rice and pasta with a plain tomatoe sauce and another tomato based sauce (Bolognese or with bacon). Two days they had a blue cheese sauce. The manager is the most arrogant we've ever met at any hotel! A part from the lying he had no sympathy whatsoever for our complains and the "solution" he offered was that we should contact our travel agent and ask to be changed to another hotel! I can not say enough good things about the rest of the staff though - they're helpful, cheerful, friendly and go out of their way to help guests and each other, coming in to work hours before they have to so their colleague can go for lunch for example. The girl in the reception (who quit a few days after we arrived) even lend her own private parasol to guests since there were only 7 parasols around the pools for 400 guests. When we left there were only 4... We had a smell of sewer in our room (222) after a week when the hotel filled up and the maintenance man came & cleaned it right away, but, I quote, "I didn't touch the basin because they're very old and I'm not sure I could find spare parts if anything breaks!" We are well aware that we booked a 3 star hotel, and we didn't expect luxury. But we did expect a 3 star stay. As it is I've been to 2 star hostels better run and maintained than this hotel.

My wife and I spent one of the last weeks of the season (2014) at this hotel. I (like most people) are happy if I get VFM. And had I paid maybe £200 less for my holiday I would have come away reasonably pleased. But I didn't...and that don't make me a happy TA reviewer! The food was 'choiceless'! Spain isn't renown for world class chefs, but you'd have thought they could have up with another way of doing potatoes other than chipping them (even I as an ardent chip monster got bored of 'em) The buildings and chattels are definitely in need of the magic wand. My gripe at the hotel is firmly aimed at the management as I found the staff on reception extremely polite and helpful and I observed a hard working ethic from the rest of the staff (ie Barmen/cleaners etc). Not too sure if the young who served in the little shop attached is hotel is staff or not but she was delightful. In conclusion: we had a lovely view from our balcony, a vista Bahia if you like, can't eat it!

It look scrappy, the food is terrible and not worth eating. I am not a fussy person and have stopped in bad paces before but this take the stale biscuits. Food is the inedible and mostly the same everyday. I had a competition to see who could break the stale bread rolls in the basket – nobody won. You get meatballs one day, chilli the next, then lasagne – you begin to realise they just regurgitate all the food from the day before!!!! Bar staff guy was really rude and said all English are same when I asked for cocktail 2 drinks!! Inexcusable for old people and children in top rooms. This place was so bad it became amusing – it a faulty towers way. Do not stop hear awful food, smelly damp rooms and rude staff. Nice views from the main balcony do not justify ignoring the above

I have only heard rumours from other guests who seem to get transferred from this hotel to the Hotel Club Portinatx. So anyways they complained at October time as Ibiza slowly closes down for the season that meals were sparse, entertainment was unavailable , few staff to speak of. Even reception was apparently unmanned more than manned, food cold and uninviting pool filled with debris and murky looking. All in All never again was passed around freely

Having visited this Hotel twice in the last 2 years my wife and I were looking forward to another stay at a once wonderful Hotel. I will get the venom out of my system first before coming to the redeeming features (very short paragraph). The Hotel we learned was to close very shortly, and this would explain why the food was disgusting to say the least. Everything hot or warm (some meats still par cooked) came straight from the freezer. All meals lacked imagination and basic presentation skills. Some days the salads and other items were infested with ants (photos available) or flies. The Chef ( an insult to the profession) could only master the art of serving chips with Lunch and Dinner. Soup was yesterdays liquidised badly cooked crap added to the soup they couldn't entice clients to eat the day before that. When asked what it was the Chef shrugged his shoulders. Serving staff were pleasant and no doubt horrified to have to deal with the amount of complaints made. Bedroom linen was clean but the room itself was given cursory service. This was because the Hotels owners had got rid of the team of cleaners (as they were selling the place) and left one poor woman to do the whole Hotel. The bathroom shower head was fixed, but sadly at the taps below so you had to force yourself against the wall to get wet. Had the baths edge been sealed correctly, instead of having big holes then the water would not have leaked behind it and caused the mould on the bedroom walls. Poolside areas were unclean and the lifeguard missing for hours at a time. Poolside bar closed at meal times contrary to the Hotels Policy. Main bar was serviced by staff who obviously had no job the following year and could not give a dam (unless you were a young and unattached woman). No ashtrays so guest threw cigarette ends in flower beds. Toilets - most urinals not working and covered by bin liners. Hotel reception was good and all staff very helpful (told you it would be short). Guests were arriving daily unaware that they would have to be transferred to another hotel when this one shut. To sum up this Hotel was disgusting and I am still considering legal action against Blue Sea. Whatever , I will never use one of their Hotels again and ,will strive to ensure nobody gets a shoddy and disgusting Holiday with this chain of Hotels.
