Pleasant stay in well situated family run hotel. Good size bedrooms next to the beach in San Antonio Bay,15 minute stroll to San Antonio. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.Hotel staff friendly & helpful all public areas clean & tidy.

Was very apprehensive about coming here, after trying to upgrade my room, as when making original booking I wasn't made aware that a promo room ment no balcony, and the hotel not being at all helpful. When I did manage to upgrade, and informed the hotel, I was asked to explain in arrival how I'd managed to!! Anyway I'd booked 3 rooms for family, one had a massive balcony, but below a shop was being fitted out, and work would start at around 7.30am each morning, tile cutting with power tools, and banging constant. And my balcony, well, that was a joke. The balcony was firstly connected to next doors, so you couldn't have a lie down leaving the doors open, Because, not knowing our neighbours, anyone could walk in. Secondly, you couldn't even sit outside it was so small. The view we had was of the back of hotel, kitchens etc, and every morning around 7.30, 8am the generators for the laundry would start, my god, a total joke. No lay ins for us, the noise was horrendous. Trying to get a drink at the bar was appalling, the staff just seem like they would rather not. They would carry on washing glasses, and ignore you. All in all, although the location lovely, the actual hotel decor lovely, it's by far the worst place I've stayed in Ibiza, and I've been visiting every year for many years, even lived there in my teens. I've taken a video of the noise and balcony, but won't let me upload. So if anyone wants to see it. celinamartin@hotmail.co.uk contact me, I'll gladly send it on.

Firstly, saw this hotel on 'on the beach', thought it looked perfect. Looked at all reviews on trip advisor and all traveller photos and thought; lovely, reasonably priced, 3 star apartment, within great location. Ah and that was my mistake! I did not realise 'on the beach' had their own hotel star rating system and was a little shocked to find the apartments were actually 2 star. Without meaning to sound snobby I am reluctant to book 2 star, purely because I haven't done so before, hotel tagomago did turn out to be a very pleasant little surprise. I had no real expectations after finding out about the two star rating, I emailed the apartments and messages bounced back and fourth which was very reassuring. Having read all reviews thoroughly, I'd like to make a few points. I can see why you would think staff were rude in person, with the exception of Ismael, what a delightful, helpful man! Breakfast, marvellous choice but absolutely ridiculous that all the tables are reserved and we found we spent a majority of the time trying to find a table without a tiny reserve card on. Yep the wifi is crap but who cares you're on holiday!!! No fridge or iron in room, plenty of sunbeds around the pool and didn't feel you had to put your towel down at the crack of dawn. Safes are in reception but very secure and are fully locked from 11pm. I won't say the room in particular because I don't want to put anyone off, initially we were given a room on the ground floor. This was just lacking finishing touches, lovely layout, stylish. Needed a lick of paint, had damp, the shower trickled, cracks in the tiles, one glass tumbler (booked a double room) and absolutely nothing else, this is what I told myself made it a 2 star. We weren't comfortable being on the ground floor, not because the hotel felt overally unsafe, just because it wasn't our preference. We went to see about being moved rooms which is when our holiday changed..... It would appear to me the second floor has had a refurb and it is absolutely beautiful! Modern, no cracks or damp in site! Cute little balcony, we were extremely pleased! Albeit lacking facilities if all the rooms were like this I could see this as an easy 3 star! These apartments are ALL kept immaculately clean, with maids in every single day! Clean towels and bed sheets and maybe we were lucky but nothing ever went missing from our room as I also saw in a previous review. It's amazing how something so simple as changing room can transform your holiday, we would absolutely love to stay again. We found it great location, lovely tapas restaurant on the beach and one opposite the hotel with a secret garden. Fantastically near ocean beach and a nice, casual stroll around 30 mins to the amazing cafe mambo (you HAVE to go there!) This hotel has been a great little find and a total learning curve for me, if only all the rooms were the same standard as 246! I would recommend these apartments to anyone but please consider all facts in my review and you will know what to expect. I hope this seems fair as overall I was really happy, it would just be nice to know all the rooms were to the same excellent standard as the second. Hopefully they will allow us back :)

Group of us stayed for a wedding reception in September, after recommendations from friends. Lovely hotel, right on the beach in a gorgeous little bay. Staff are friendly, very helpful. Beach towels available from reception at no extra cost. Very clean rooms, although no fridge or coffee/tea facilities in room. Cash point, local shops, amazing pizza restaurant at the entrance of the road. Quiet enough to chill but only 10 mins walk to the strip. Will be bringing my children back next year, something for everyone. 15-20 mins from airport between €20 and €25 euros depending whether metered on not.

Phoned up before we came and was told for room only was maximum of €55 per night for the room only for two people. On speaking to the owner we have now been told that they don't do room only but we can have bed and breakfast at €53 each per night so that means it will cost us €1000 to stay in a two star bed and breakfast! Don't ever come to this hotel, they rip you off!

Lovely clean hotel. Gr8 location. Rooms are a good size-very clean. Lovely breakfast & evening meals. Something for everyone. No fridges, kettle, or cooking facilities in the room. A bus stop outside the hotel to anywhere you want to go. Beach is right infront of the hotel. Very peaceful here, nice people visiting here. We would def reccomend it! No irions, we brought our own. The safe is in the reception, but at least you can put your valuables away. You do get what you pay for, but it's a very good 2/3 star hotel. Good budget holiday, much better then we thought it would be. We just wanted a week away on the cheap, and this was a fab find.

We came with our 2 young teenage daughters to attend a friends wedding on the island and decided to make a holiday out of it. Having never been before we were unsure what to expect from 'The Party Isle' From start to finish I could not fault anything. Arriving at the Hotel the views were breathtaking and for this alone I would recommend Hotel Tagomago. The Family room we stayed in was large enough for the 4 of us and with both ceiling fans and air-con which was a blessing from the blistering heat. We were lucky in that our balcony overlooked the beautiful bay. We stayed half board and the food was awesome plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner to keep even our fussy youngest well fed. This is a fantastic hotel which is perfectly situated for some peace and quiet but close enough for something a bit more lively if you fancy it. The staff were friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. Definitely worth more than 2 stars. Can't wait to come back without the kids

Wasn't planning a holiday this year but gave in and booked the cheapest holiday going 2 weeks before leaving. Wasn't expecting much but reviews looked hopeful. Arrived late at night and first impressions were great, greeted at reception with a warmly welcome. Our room was at the back of the hotel but it was large, clean and fresh looking. We had a lovely large balcony that looked straight out to trees but this didn't bother us, I very much enjoyed my time sat out there. We were half board, the breakfasts were good with the usual hot items but there was also choices of cheese, ham, pastries etc. Dinner was a bit mix and match but there wasn't anything that I didn't like and I enjoyed trying new food. Must say the salads were lovely. Didn't have any bother with getting a sunbed, we went down at 10am the first day and there were beds left. It was nice seeing that the beds were not taken at silly hour then not used. The pool was just the perfect temperature great for dipping in and out. The view out from the pool was amazing overlooking the beach and bay. Shops, bars and restaurants very close, occasionally you can hear a bit of noise from the nearby arcade but nothing too loud to disturb the peace, On our last night we got to see a magical firework display from across the bay, the best display I have ever seen, after the 20 minuet display the boats in the bay beeped their horns, this ended a few perfect days for us

Lovely hotel tainted massively on the last day when I discovered that my 'si' by Georgio Armarni perfume had disappeared from my locked room. I had not at any point taken the perfume out of the room during the stay so was obviously extremely confused when I could not find it after returning from a day out. I asked at reception the evening that I noticed it had gone and the young man behind the desk was not very helpful, he simply asked me to ask the maids in the morning. As we were leaving the following morning, my friends and I searched the room inside out for the perfume and to my dismay it was still no where to be seen, so again I mentioned this to reception, and my friend asked a maid who, understandably, did not speak any English, and once again I received a not very helpful response. I was simply told by the manager that the perfume had not been handed in to Reception and that they had never had any problems with the maids before. The rest of the visit I could not fault, but having had a valuable present stolen from my room and no help from the management to try and rectify this, I feel extremely upset and my whole Ibiza trip has been tainted.

Came to party in Ibiza, had to stay here as needed hotel close to Ocean Beach, good enough for getting ready and few hour sleep. Breakfast has plenty of variety, just didn't like that you can's sit where you want as all tables reserved for the night. Staff members each different, some ok, some not so ok, don't expect nothing much. Room was simple and clean, we didn't get the best view, floors constantly wet from the hot air, shower water salty, no toothpaste(have to purchase at the local shop), but cleaners do come clean every day if you want. Location is good, close to every bars and clubs and the beach is just there outside. Overall I was satisfied, as didn't pay too much for few nights and I really didn't stay much in my room, as we was here to party hard not stay in the hotel.:)
