Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice, alot of choice. The room was nothing special at all.. toilet was dirty as was the bath. Garden outside our patio doors had wires everywhere was not nice to look at. Was on the bottom floor so alot of traffic noise outside. A few cockroaches in our room which can not be helped as that's nature for you and staff removed very quickly. Beach on your doorstep which was nice to have. Have stayed in better places for cheaper.
have been going to this hotel for 15 years.hotel lovely and clean, staff are exceptional,1 minute walk to the beach.bedrooms a good size. great family run hotel. ideal if you go on your own as everybody are friendly.
Check in was 2 0r 3pm but we could leave our bags. Beach bar right by the hotel. Swimming pool, (No kids pool but about a 1/4 of the pool is partitioned off and seemed quite shallow, children were in it happily)pool table, table tennis table. I didn't notice a gym but that's not really my thing. Friendly staff. Upon talking to those staying, most of them have stayed there numerous times. I would stay again as it's convenient to the beaches either by bus or walking and there is so much local things to do!
Stay here in September 2017 Was very pleasantly surprised.. food was very nice ...room was keep very clean on a daly basis.. staff was helpful.. location was perfect.. the only down side was we felt we was washing in sea water, the room had a awful smell .. however I would go back just not to room 222
Most of the rooms with seaview. Rooms a little short on wardrobe/cupboard space and no teamaking facilities and no fridge, however hotel very clean and tidy for end of season. Food very good with lots of variety although there were chips every day and not to many potatoes. Hotel very centrally situated ideal for a boat ride into San Antonio and a casual walk back. No entertainment whilst we were there. Worth a 3 star rating and with a little effort (as mentioned) then could be on way to 4 stars
Pleasant stay in well situated family run hotel. Good size bedrooms next to the beach in San Antonio Bay,15 minute stroll to San Antonio. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.Hotel staff friendly & helpful all public areas clean & tidy.
Was very apprehensive about coming here, after trying to upgrade my room, as when making original booking I wasn't made aware that a promo room ment no balcony, and the hotel not being at all helpful. When I did manage to upgrade, and informed the hotel, I was asked to explain in arrival how I'd managed to!! Anyway I'd booked 3 rooms for family, one had a massive balcony, but below a shop was being fitted out, and work would start at around 7.30am each morning, tile cutting with power tools, and banging constant. And my balcony, well, that was a joke. The balcony was firstly connected to next doors, so you couldn't have a lie down leaving the doors open, Because, not knowing our neighbours, anyone could walk in. Secondly, you couldn't even sit outside it was so small. The view we had was of the back of hotel, kitchens etc, and every morning around 7.30, 8am the generators for the laundry would start, my god, a total joke. No lay ins for us, the noise was horrendous. Trying to get a drink at the bar was appalling, the staff just seem like they would rather not. They would carry on washing glasses, and ignore you. All in all, although the location lovely, the actual hotel decor lovely, it's by far the worst place I've stayed in Ibiza, and I've been visiting every year for many years, even lived there in my teens. I've taken a video of the noise and balcony, but won't let me upload. So if anyone wants to see it. firstname.lastname@example.org contact me, I'll gladly send it on.
Firstly, saw this hotel on 'on the beach', thought it looked perfect. Looked at all reviews on trip advisor and all traveller photos and thought; lovely, reasonably priced, 3 star apartment, within great location. Ah and that was my mistake! I did not realise 'on the beach' had their own hotel star rating system and was a little shocked to find the apartments were actually 2 star. Without meaning to sound snobby I am reluctant to book 2 star, purely because I haven't done so before, hotel tagomago did turn out to be a very pleasant little surprise. I had no real expectations after finding out about the two star rating, I emailed the apartments and messages bounced back and fourth which was very reassuring. Having read all reviews thoroughly, I'd like to make a few points. I can see why you would think staff were rude in person, with the exception of Ismael, what a delightful, helpful man! Breakfast, marvellous choice but absolutely ridiculous that all the tables are reserved and we found we spent a majority of the time trying to find a table without a tiny reserve card on. Yep the wifi is crap but who cares you're on holiday!!! No fridge or iron in room, plenty of sunbeds around the pool and didn't feel you had to put your towel down at the crack of dawn. Safes are in reception but very secure and are fully locked from 11pm. I won't say the room in particular because I don't want to put anyone off, initially we were given a room on the ground floor. This was just lacking finishing touches, lovely layout, stylish. Needed a lick of paint, had damp, the shower trickled, cracks in the tiles, one glass tumbler (booked a double room) and absolutely nothing else, this is what I told myself made it a 2 star. We weren't comfortable being on the ground floor, not because the hotel felt overally unsafe, just because it wasn't our preference. We went to see about being moved rooms which is when our holiday changed..... It would appear to me the second floor has had a refurb and it is absolutely beautiful! Modern, no cracks or damp in site! Cute little balcony, we were extremely pleased! Albeit lacking facilities if all the rooms were like this I could see this as an easy 3 star! These apartments are ALL kept immaculately clean, with maids in every single day! Clean towels and bed sheets and maybe we were lucky but nothing ever went missing from our room as I also saw in a previous review. It's amazing how something so simple as changing room can transform your holiday, we would absolutely love to stay again. We found it great location, lovely tapas restaurant on the beach and one opposite the hotel with a secret garden. Fantastically near ocean beach and a nice, casual stroll around 30 mins to the amazing cafe mambo (you HAVE to go there!) This hotel has been a great little find and a total learning curve for me, if only all the rooms were the same standard as 246! I would recommend these apartments to anyone but please consider all facts in my review and you will know what to expect. I hope this seems fair as overall I was really happy, it would just be nice to know all the rooms were to the same excellent standard as the second. Hopefully they will allow us back :)
Group of us stayed for a wedding reception in September, after recommendations from friends. Lovely hotel, right on the beach in a gorgeous little bay. Staff are friendly, very helpful. Beach towels available from reception at no extra cost. Very clean rooms, although no fridge or coffee/tea facilities in room. Cash point, local shops, amazing pizza restaurant at the entrance of the road. Quiet enough to chill but only 10 mins walk to the strip. Will be bringing my children back next year, something for everyone. 15-20 mins from airport between €20 and €25 euros depending whether metered on not.
Phoned up before we came and was told for room only was maximum of €55 per night for the room only for two people. On speaking to the owner we have now been told that they don't do room only but we can have bed and breakfast at €53 each per night so that means it will cost us €1000 to stay in a two star bed and breakfast! Don't ever come to this hotel, they rip you off!
