For a full week the air con was awful- we complained as we thought it was broke turns out that's just how it is, so we was roasting hardly slept for a week. When we arrived we got to our room expecting a nice view as it shows you on your email but we was given a room that over looked a dump, I was asked to move rooms and reception desk day staff told me to ask reception desk night staff then the cycle continued so I just left it. Bought a safe and it didn't work for 2 days despite us asking the hotel to get someone to come fix it. ALL the restraint staff and pool bar staff and lifeguard are lovely lovely people cannot fault at all can't do enough for you. The reception desk staff of a day time seemed to be rude and had an awful attitude, other guests commented on that to us to. The man who works on reception of a night is lovely though. Overall nice hotel just make sure your room has a good view before you arrive, also be careful booking in height of summer as air con is awful and it leaves you drained. This didn't bother me as I can use my phone abroad but just for info only could only get wifi in reception.
Enjoyed our stay , staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is a short walk from beach and bars so good location. Breakfast good selection but seemed always baked beans only tomatoes on offer one day out of 9 and plates not warmed for hot food but maybe that's me just being picky. Room cleaned every day and towels changed every day . Thought we maybe disturbed by the young ones coming in early hours but only heard once . Overall was happy with the hotel , staff , pool and it was a reasonable price .
We stayed for 10days first week in July and was one of the best holidays we have had! Would recommend getting a taxi from the airport €26 no messing about :). The location of the hotel for me was great as I enjoyed the 15/20min walk to the madness! Staff are very friendly, the guy at the pool is awesome and he appreciates if you read the sign saying 'no glass bottles at the pool' as I have seen a few reviews that are ridiculous. The rooms are very basic but each morning the rooms were cleaned, fresh towels & the air con was great. We booked all our tickets through the hotel which was handy and honestly the best prices. The beach is about 6min walk but not what I would call a beach, recommend to get the bus just across from the hotel L7 to Cala Bassa it's beautiful! We only made breakfast twice which had a large selection so couldn't complain. Snack bar handy reasonable and cheapest cocktail you will get in Ibiza. Overall pleasantly happy with the hotel and others need to remember it's scaled as 2*
Me & my girlfriend stayed here at the start of July and loved it. The hotel is very clean and modern. We were given a room above reception facing the road, we were skeptical at first but it didn't take long to agree that we actually preferred this view over pool view as it was fun to people-watch whilst having a few drinks on the balcony!! In our opinion the air con wasn't great and we struggled to sleep on some nights, it would also have been nicer if the bed was a double bed and not two singles pushed together, but this wasn't much of an issue. If you want to use the safe you have to buy it for 40euros which seemed a little steep! The shower was great and super powerful, the room also has a decent little fridge. The pool area is very nice and did get rowdy on some days but it is Ibiza and you are staying in San Antonio so what do you expect :) The lifeguard keeps everything in check well and you won't get away with anything you aren't supposed to (trust me), so just be aware of that (glasses around the pool for example). The cleaners are excellent here and really deserve a lot of credit, they are pleasant and our room was cleaned all 11 days without fail, we were very impressed! We had free breakfast and I would probably give the food 3/5, nothing amazing but it's standard buffet breakfast food that does the job after a night out. Be aware that the breakfast finishes at 10am. The walk to the beach is only 5 mins and the road outside the hotel goes directly to the egg and takes about 15 mins to walk. A top tip for the island it to always use buses, never taxi unless made of money are absolutely needed. Just to put it into perspective... Taxi to Bora Bora = approx 35 euros Bus to Bora Bora = 3.50 euros Taxi to the old town/marina = Approx 35 euros Bus = 2 euros The disco bus to the clubs runs all nights and costs just 3.50 each way, the bus station is just behind the egg and is fairly easy to find. In terms of food we found that The Curry Club and Bondi are absolute musts. There is also an Italian restaurant near Hotel Puchet that offers take out pizza, it's called Pizzaman and will be easy to find using google, their pizzas are cooked fresh for you and trust me you NEED to try one!! My fave was Olives, Anchovies, Ham, Jalapenos and Rocket. Lastly, sure you visit CALA SALADA, unbelievable location, crystal clear water, barely any kids and rock jumping, you could say it's an Instagrammers dream! You can get there on the bus for around 3 euros and it takes 5mins.
For a hotel in San Antonio, we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived without any specific expectations as in Ibiza for a hen do. Lobby clean, modern, air conditioned. Front desk staff mostly helpful/ not overly warm. Check in quick an easy. Room - average. Clean, good air conditioning. Bathroom a little old fashioned with a rubbish shower. We requested a nice view and got a view of the pool which we were appreciative of, as some rooms over look the road. Tv was rubbish, not one english channel. Brought lap tap and used wifi to watch things, wifi was very hit and miss. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels given. Pool area - We were anxious on the first day as there was a large vulgar group of girls who were aggressive causing loads of grief around the pool. Being awful to staff ( the kind of group which makes it embarrassing to be British) They kept taking glass around the pool and were so abusive to anyone who told them to not. Also some guy was super drunk and was sick around the pool. HOWEVER, luckily this group left the next day and the rest of the time was spent with nice people/ couples. Pool is a good size, area kept very clean. Pool food cheap/average. Location - quite nice to be little bit further out. 10 minute walk down to es paradis/ eden etc. YOU HAVE TO GO TO NATURAL PAU FOR FOOD!!! lovely little garden in the middle of chaos with amazing food. Get bus number 3 (i think) from outside hotel to Cala Conte beach. Its stunning. Also 25 mins on a bus from the bus station to ibiza town. Nice for an evening of wine, tapas and people watching.
We travelled to Ibiza at the beginning of june for 10 days. Unfortunately where completely let down by the transfer to the hotel they provided, after arriving in Ibiza we were put on a large coach and headed to our hotel, dropping a lot of people of on the way. We noticed our hotel while on the coach and we completely drove past it so at the next stop I jumped off the coach and asked the driver if we had passed 'Hotel Puchet' as he was meant to be crossing people off his list as he dropped people, I got a complete mouthful of abuse from the driver, in spanish as he did not speak a word of English and as I struggled to communicate with him he shouted and pointed back to the bus and I got back on as I was unsure what to do, we then had to wait another 40 minutes until everyone else on the coach had been dropped off and we headed towards our hotel where the driver parked down the street from our hotel and we where instructed to walk. Our problems with the hotel staff started around the second or third day of being at the hotel. The life guard around the pool was extremely intimidating, we were shouted at for the smallest things such as leaning out of the pool to get a drink and wearing a hat in the pool? There was also a particular day where my friend was attempting to put up an umbrella around the pool to get some shade and was struggling, she then called the life guard over and asked for his help. He came over and attempted to push up the umbrella and one of the wood planks in the umbrella snapped. He then began to shout at my friend and blame her for breaking the umbrella and demanded that we go to the reception and pay 50 Euros for the damage to the umbrella. Obviously we were not going to pay this so we tried to ignore him but he kept coming up to us at our sunbeds, in the pool and even where we where eating at the poolside bar, demanding that we pay the 50 Euros, when we refused to pay he then proceeded to get the security guard and was pointing at us and to him, he also started to make hand gestures using his right hand to punch his left hand!! obviously this was extremely intimidating and my friend became very stressed and upset where she was crying to which the two men laughed. This was disgusting behaviour from these members of staff and completely let the hotel down!! We will not be staying in this hotel again!! This is NO reflection on the beautiful island of Ibiza! just poor hotel staff service!!!!
Went in July for a week . Nice location 15 min walk from west end. Pool can be loud during the day buy a nice atmosphere. Life guard always on futy and is so friendly and helpful same as bar staff. Would definitely return
IF you Love brittish people and rude staff and really hot rooms you should stay here. We also had a LOT of ants in the room. IF you go on a holiday with your loved one, there is No energy to cuddle, IT is not enough air
Most Stag Parties fill Hotels full of dread and I'm sure that we were no different, but once we were settled in and got to know the staff, everyone chilled out and we had a ball, from meeting lots of great guests and staff, to dunking Miguel (Lifeguard) in the pool to everyone's merriment even Miguel took it in great part. As for the Hotel the staff and venue make it rooms are very basic but do have aircon, good location close enough to the action but far enough away not to be disturbed from party goers. Special thanks to ALL the staff!!!
First my compliments to the men at Breakfast and Swimmingpool!!!! They are making your stay really wonderful. We had clean rooms, basic but good enough. At reception some staff can be more active to assist people and be a little nicer. Parking is easy behind the hotel and the location is also good for us. If you visit this place and use the swimming pool, please help the life guard to take your own rubbish! This man is really nice but is working hard to keep the pool area clean, something guests have to do them selves! :)
