Hotel Don Quijote2.0 out of 5.0

So I needed a budget hotel that had 3 beds. Within a specific price. The rooms are very basic. But it includes breakfast. The great aspect of this hotel is the location; steps from the beach; close to bus stop, close to many banks, restaurants, cafe, stores, etc The rooftop pool is nice. We did not pay extra for view, so we faced to a busy loud street. The room has only 1 small fan, so it may get really hot in the afternoon. Last thing, the roof top pool's views are fantastic. The proximity to beach is also a huge plus! Front desk was friendly, but they do monitor people going in and out, good for security, but I guess its more for limiting unregistered guests staying in rooms
The hotel is in figueretas and is situated in a really good position, really close to the beach (just out from the door of the hotel, on the right 20metres far), to the Harbour, old town and Playa den Bossa. Rooms are clean, breakfast is good. Recomended.
Your opinion about this hotel will strongly depend your needs and expectations. Ours were basic: somewhere to sleep, and that was about it. We didn't take breakfast as we didn't want to have to get up at any specific time (this is Ibiza after all). We got room 908, on the top floor, with a balcony and staggering view over the beach and old town. Being greeted by that every morning was really amazing. My only grumble was the bed, which was quite hard. By the third day I was about to ask for a replacement when I somehow got used to it. Had I asked, I'm sure the staff would have done something. In the few dealings we had with them, they were exemplary in their courteousness. More picky travellers will complain about the fittings, which, it's true, have seen better days: the paint is a bit flaky, the tiles cracked here and there. The lift is comically lethargic. The shower was just a kind of drizzle. But so what? It's reasonably priced, in a great location, and clean. With a beautiful beach, fantastic bars, an amazing town, and some of the best nightlife on the island all a stone's throw away, who wants to stay in their hotel for any longer than they need to?
i went for my friend's hen night for a few nights. Very helpful and kind staff made our trip amazing. Great rooftop swimming and location. Receptionist were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Great nice cool hotel. Great service and very friendly. Mary and Belen are really great service. Always will come back and recommend this hotel to all my friends. Good location, nice area of the beach and very close to all other areas on the island Mucha Gracias
The hotel was outdated,no fridge or air conditioning,my room backed on to a scene from the worst episodes of Benidorm ,television circa 1970, remote control would not work, noise level from the rear of my room was atrocious ,I would not go back even if someone else paid.Staff were superb, and seriously wasted, all of them could have had jobs in the best London hotels, especially the reception staff during the day and night, thank you ,you made my holiday.
My friend and I stayed there for a long weekend in Ibiza... hotel is def not value for money and is too expensive for the services (or should I say lack of services) provided. Rooms are very small and look like they are from the 80ies; no air con in the rooms knowing that Ibiza is boiling hot in summer; bathroom also very old with hardly any lightings. Also, forget about breakfast; most you can get are tiny pieces of burnt toast. Only advantage of this "hotel" is the location. But considering how bad this place is; it's not even worth it!
You get to what you pay for at this hotel. Beds aren't too comfortable, TV is not modern, and the hotel looks a little in need of update. The location is not too far from the airport or Ibiza Town. Public transportation is near. There's a beach across the street from the hotel which is okay, However beaches on the other side of the island are better. Hotel had only two irons and they were being used meaning I could not iron my clothes for my stay. Only stay here if you are not going to be in the hotel except for when you sleep.
Well what can I say, arrived for a 4 day trip with my husband and son. Was sold as a family hotel. Disgusting horrible place. I can only describe it as a low low budget hostel. Receptionist tried to charge us for room, on arrival, then laughed when we told her it was fully paid for. Also be prepared to pay tourist tax. People were complaining, continually. Was promised balcony, sea view, guess what no. As soon as we arrived, we knew straight away it was not a safe place. Looked like a red light district. Hotel room was shocking, beds horrible, take in mind travelling all day and suddenly u hit with the room, disturbing, will post photos, u decide. A cheap fan for three people, that was the air conditioning. Window was horrendous, curtains were dirty, with a plastic black out curtain. Searched straight away for alternative hotel. Left next day as we had no choice to stay that night. Worst experience. Area is not suitable for tourists. Please avoid at all costs.
Please do not stay here if you are coming for a relaxing holiday . Rooms need gutting and redoing No air-con No fly protection on the window , you have to have the windows open as its so hot , get bitten loads . One horrible , load, desk fan for room . 1950s style , should be in a museum. No way 2 star ,more like a hostel then Hotel . Did not feel safe at all . Had to move to the sister hotel across the road. 100% better hotel . Don Quijote hotel ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday . Done all the right things about complaining. Never ever again
