I have never stayed anywhere where the staff are much more than helpful and almost treat their guests as friends, nothing is too much trouble and going out of their way on more than one occasion to make my stay such a memorable and happy occasion. Front desk fantastic, and thank you especially to Alberto who put "the icing on the cake" for me!! The design of the hotel is amazing, and made even more exciting with what is essentially a museum of rock memorabilia. One could spend hours exploring the reception areas and even the floors where the bedrooms are. For example imagine my surprise to get out of the lift (4th floor) and see opposite a t-shirt that was Freddie Mercury's!! They have a jacket that belonged to John Lennon, Bob Dylan's harmonica, Frank Zappa's beautiful guitar, a dress worn by Madonna, the list could go on, and on, and on.... Best thing, come and see it all for yourself - I could not recommend this hotel more highly. Not only are the staff wonderful and unobtrusively attentive, everywhere is spotless, the room large and comfortable (great sea view if you opt to stay in the tower) with every detail thought through - and a few nice surprises!!. Excellent and attentive room service and room service menu. The layout of the pools and external landscaping is fabulous and relaxing, the food imaginative and delicious. I did not visit the gym but it looked very well equipped. If you need complete relaxation, go to the spa, can't fault it. All in all a very cool hip and happy place for anybody - whatever their age! Tip: try to include a Friday night in your stay if you can - it's party night "Children of the 80s". Brilliant atmosphere and enormous fun!
The beach club is lush; we enjoyed with the entertainment, live music, with a guy playing the violin and an acrobatic show. We went to the spa, and we have dinner in the restaurant. Everywhere is remarkable clean and smells lovely. And the best is the staff, kind and nice people, always smiling.
Very Friendly/helpful staff members. Hotel room(swim up pool) was amazing. Side note: very little privacy if traveling without a close friend. The shower had a window that you could see whomever was showing and the toilet also had a "peek" view that made you and your guest viewable to each other while sitting on the toilet. I wish the breakfast was open a little biter later, as we often didn't even return to the room from the night before until 6-7am :0).
Omg what a hotel. Pure heaven!. The hotel is immaculate, rooms are fab, swim up rooms are pure luxury. Pools are clean and warm and loads of sun beds. Drinks are a little pricey but when you're on holiday you don't mind. The beach is out of this world and the staff are all helpful and friendly. Never wanted to leave.
We had 4 beautiful days in Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza- Best friends trip- we had a great time! The staff, especially - at the Beach Club was excellent and super friendly!! Sooo helpfully - perfekt Cocktails and beautiful food !!! Carlos, Fatima, Johanna, Arantxa and Lulu :) and all the others👍🏼👍🏼😍( I forgot their names🙈) Best wishes from Vienna On the pic, we all, also the staff sent wishes to our friends in Austria- because they celebrated their marriage 😍💍 Beautiful sight from the roof top-Bar 🥂 All the best!!! Gaby:)
I love this hotel. The staff are awesome, the beach club is great. It's a walk to the best clubs. We normally stay in the Platinum suite. This is the coolest room I have ever stayed in. The private hot tub on roof terrace is the perfect place to relax after a night out. Myself and hubby go to Ibiza every year and would never stay anywhere else.
this hotel is amazing with a high level off service but every year its the same discussions with the staff on the beach cub that there are no paraols avaible this is for me a reason to book no more again with 35 degrees lying in the son with no parasol its not acceptable
The Hard Rock is a very nice hotel, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was everything we were expecting. We did stay there the week before all of the major clubs opened so it was a little quieter overall and not as lively as we had expected. No one was on the rooftop bar when we went up at around 9pm on a Friday night, the sports bar was empty too. The second night we ventured to the Tatel bar...so that's where everyone was! It was the liveliest crowd we saw all weekend. By comparison, the Ushuaia next door seemed to be having a party every day and we could hear it every morning starting around 11am. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure and there are just certain things I expect from hotels looking to be considered five star/excellent properties. Little things matter, like not refilling our coffee in the room each morning when the room was cleaned. the toilet in a separate room could have been fine but there was no sound dampening and you could see right through the glass panes into the toilet. We went down to the beach club for lunch one day and it took 15 minutes for us to find someone who would seat us, and they seemed reluctant to do so. We finally found someone who said they would prepare a table for us, then disappeared. It took another 10 minutes for us to find someone to seat us again, and we basically had to prove that someone had promised us a table and had to point out who it was before they would seat us. I'm sure others have had wonderful experiences, and at the end of the day, it was a fine stay in a beautiful setting, but I wouldn't say it was all that we expected it to be.
Not what I expected. The advertisements show a hotel that is lively and fun, however we found it lacking atmosphere. Very few people around the pools baring in mind we were told the hotel was at full capacity. Don't be fooled by the wonderful pictures of guitarists and acrobats, they perform daily at 3pm at the beach club for one song. So you will be lucky if it's a five minute performance. Yes you have a dj around the pool daily, but go a few hundred metres down the beach to the lovely Hotel Garbi, stay for half the price, they have a great dj by the beach and also a nightclub that you get in for free every night. One concert a week, not Rock. On arrival to the hotel we checked in at 12 but room wasn't ready until 3pm. We didn't get the free upgrade that enticed us to book the hotel in the first place which I did direct on the Hard Rock Hotel website! This was a disappointing start as there was a cheaper deal flights and hotel with British Airways for the Rock suite that we got. The complimentary drink on arrival was a lilac colour and absolutely disgusting. Left our bags with bellboys and went off for lunch to the beach club which was nice. Went back to check in at 3 got our wristbands (they open the door and you can buy drinks and food with them) and were given directions to our room and told our bags would follow. Thirty minutes later and nothing. Rang and they said they were on their way, 10 mins later still nothing. My husband ended up going down to get them himself but in the meantime they had arrived at our room. Oh and the sea view room we were told we had by the lovely girl on reception was a room farthest away from the sea. I could see it in the distance over the back of the stage ha ha. Rock suite spacious, nicely decorated with nice lighting however we don't quite understand having two balconies, one with a table and two chairs and the other with nothing on it. Surely a few sunloungers or something at least would be better on the other otherwise what a waste of space. Our room had various things wrong with it. A hole in the wall behind the door were it had banged against it, a tap that kept coming off when you tried to run the bath (like practically in your hand), mould above the shower, a tv that on 2 occasions when I wanted to check my bill didn't work and we had to get engineers up to reconfigure it. Hot water! Three mornings in a row my husband had a cold shower! We complained 3 times about it. On the plus side the beds are super comfortable and air conditioning was great. Ice machine didn't work on a couple of occasions when my husband trekked over to the other building for ice. Roof top bar - one of the reasons I booked the hotel was this as we found it when I stayed at The Garbi last year. We were on an 8 day stay and made it up once at the beginning of our stay. It was at 12ish after coming back from Ibiza town for a nightcap. Only about 10 people there so again not much atmosphere but very nice views. Decided we would go again on Sat and Sun before we go home. Got up to The Ninth floor in the lift to be told it was closed for a private function the whole weekend! Shocked, Not even a sign in the reception area to inform guests of this or at least a sign outside the lift. Breakfast - not big enough for the amount of people there when they had a conference (which was 3 days of our holiday and not a great experience). If you book bed and breakfast you have to queue to be ticked off every morning and there were lengthy queues. Lots of waiting for tables, running out of food and it not being replaced quick enough. Staff lovely and work very hard. Nice range of pastries, fresh juices, fruit (however never strawberries) good coffee however the hot food was only lukewarm. Ended up just getting an omelette freshly made. If you are lucky you might catch some live music as it does not take place over the whole breakfast session. May just be a half hour set. Get to breakfast early if you want a table outside on the terrace. I only used the concierge once as we holiday yearly in Ibiza and have our favourite places and restaurants. I have made a separate review of my experience with the concierge and the lack of communication between them and Tatel, the restaurant on their site. So Iimagine how we felt to have our Saturday evening spoilt by lack of communication by the concierge and staff at Tatel. So it goes like this - we got to The Ninth for predrinks to find it is closed for private party and being really disappointed look forward to having a lovely meal as a family at Tatel. Then told we have not made a booking! Flabbergasted. The holiday couldn't have got any worse for us. I really enjoyed the Beach Club however when you have young children it is quite far back from the sea so preferred The Garbi for location being closer to the sea and also for getting the ferry into Ibiza town. I also must say as compensation for the cold showers, tv problems, no ice etc and the no upgrade which the reservation manager said he has never heard of yet I had the paperwork to prove, we were given a lunch at the Beach restaurant and a late check out. Even at our complimentary Beach Club lunch I felt a bit uncomfortable when there was confusion as to what they can and cannot offer us. It's just all very amateurish if you ask me. I would not choose to return to this hotel. .
Upon checking in I saw this cute AF young man who turned out to be Martin Garrix. At the time I knew his music but I had no idea that it was him. I so regret not getting a picture but am so glad I didn't make a pass at him. He probably would have thought I was some pathetic fan (lol). He is even cuter in person than in his social media pics. I staid in a room that had private pool access and was just across the way from the pool that had a swim-up bar. The private pools did have an awesome feature of music that you could only hear if you wear, well, underwater. (lol) The rooms were tiny esp. considering the price tag. It was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to move my luggage around and do anything in the room. The one bonus about staying at the Hard Rock is that you get free access to the concerts that are set in the hotel/outdoor entertainment area. (Or at least that was the case when I staid there) There is a rooftop bar at The Hard Rock and a few pools plus a pristine beach and ocean to enjoy. Ibiza is less of a chill out place and more of a place one goes to be young, wild and free. The food is standard and so are the drinks; nothing to write home about. You are paying for the name and not necessarily the quality. Most of the hotels in Ibiza are all along a strip and therefore you have easy walking access to concerts, food and etc. The Hard Rock Hotel would not be on my top list of recommendations for Ibiza.
