We stayed in the grupotel for a weeks holiday. The hotel was lovely, clean and in great decorative order. The staff were always polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It had a lovely pool again both clean and well maintained, also the chill out upper terrace was a great place to chill out. The restaurant and its staff were superb, the food was delicious and an amazing choice of dishes all cooked and prepared to a high standard. Every diet was catered for, vegetarian, vegan and coeliac. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, we would definitely return there without hesitation.

Just got back from an amazing stay here! Room was really clean and comfortable, with balcony. Pool was a great temperature and never really had a problem getting sun loungers (recommend getting there around 9am) The food was great, with the best deserts I've ever had in a hotel! And me and my husband and particularly adventurous with food so it must have been good! Only about a 30 minute transfer from the airport and when your lying by the pool you can see the sea glistening in the background. There are a few supermarket and souvenir shops just down the road. With the main area of shops and restaurants about 5-10 minutes walk away. First time we stayed in an adults only Hotel and it was great. Some helpful tips below: It says everywhere that the pool doesn't open until 10am and the main doors to the pool by the reception are locked until then. However there are two small doors at the end of the ground floor corridors where the rooms are giving you access to the pool area where you can get your sun lounger before 10am. If you find yourself struggling for a sun lounger take a walk up the stairs to the terrace where there are some sun loungers at the front that you can use. We used these 3 times by choice because we found you had more space there. Men must wear trousers to dinner, which we didn't know until we arrived and my husband thankfully had a pair of jeans on him, so make sure that you bring a couple pairs of trousers! There is a 15 euro charge for wifi per week. There are loads of bars and restaurants in Santa Eulalia if you fancy eating out one night. If you speak to the Thomson reps they can give you maps for directions. We hope you have a great stay here as we did!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at this hotel that made our holiday so relaxing, the most friendly people we have met. * The pool amazing * The rooms spotlessly clean * The food wonderful, with fish & meat cooked separately * Lovely & quiet

Upgraded to sea view on arrival at a fraction of the cost in the brochure. Well worth it for the beautiful view and privacy it afforded. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Couldn't fault anything. Food was varied and plentiful with lots of freshly cooked options. Stayed on half board basis. Although it is advised that men wear trousers for dinner, this was flouted on a very regular basis by lots of the guests. There was a throwback to the 80s around the pool with people putting down towels, fortunately there is a lovely shaded area amongst trees with plenty of loungers and oodles of space and a great view of the lovely bay. So this issue was not a deal breaker, and as time went on a lot of people favoured this option. No music or games around pool - wonderful. A great experience, plenty of places to relax - would recommend. Couldn't have picked a better location for the hotel - close enough to enjoy the resort (15 mins walk) and far enough away. Lovely walks around the bay's in opposite direction.

Most reviews have already summed the hotel up well. It's a very clean, well positioned hotel with helpful staff and it serves a wide range of good food at breakfast and dinner. Its quiet and relaxed atmosphere creates a chilled environment and there's no kids...big bonus in August for two teachers!! It's not too far into the lovely town and harbour and there is a supermarket very close by for essentials. The only negatives from our perspective are the lack of free wi fi even in public areas and the usual issues with towels around the pool area ,All credit to the young life guard who did her best to remove a few towels after a while. You could always go to the nearby beach or the town beach for a change and hire beds and brollies. We did and had a couple of really good days. Entertainment is as bad as described by others! I would recommend the hotel and the area.. santa Eularia is great.

On my visit I seen those type of reviewers, waiting for someone to drop food to snap a quick picture, looking for the bit of food out of place to get some evidence, or complaining about a bottle of beer because they preferred another. Don't let those reviewers put you you. This is an honest review. I recently visited this hotel with my pregnant wife (8 months) the end of July 2017 for a week. The hotel is great. Rooms are spacious with big bathrooms and a hairdryer. If an iron is needed, ring reception and they have one delivered. Pool is very quiet, could do with a bit of atmosphere, but that's just my preference. The hotel has a policy appsrstnly about not allowing towels to be put on beds, but this isn't true so don't be like us on your first day without a decent bed. Get down there before 8am because they fill up pretty quick. This is an area the hotel needs to get right. Choose the beds near the bar - these have sun all day. There is a rooftop but we're you will find shaded day beds to chill and relax, and a few more longes. Nice of you want a day to read or relax in the shade. The food is the best thing about this hotel. Ok the cereal choices weren't great, and the chefs could use less oil on the food. But for late dinner the variety was amazing. Different types of meats and fish daily, vegetables, rice potatoes, and a wide selection of puddings. One of the best restaurant I've ate in for a half board hotel. If your hungry around mid afternoon, the bar does snack food which I highly recommend 12.30-3pm (I think). Not overpriced either. Bottles of estrella beer weren't only 2 euro off aswell. Location is pretty good, your very close to a supermarket to get your own drinks and snacks if needed. There is a bay lounge bar over the road - but you have to reserve a day bed here and it's 40 Euro minimum spend. Looks ok if you want something different but we didn't bother. Of a nighttime the entertainment in the hotel is very low key so you find yourself going out quite a lot. The bus station is 5 minute walk at the top of the road. Here you can et a bus either way to Es Cana (different bars and restaurants) or Santa Eularia (much nicer and chilled vibe with lots of bars by the marina). If you need help ask at reception, they were a great help of an evening when we needed to know things. Vidal of a day does need to smile a bit more though, my wife wouldn't ask anything if he was on the desk!!! We went through Thompson Holidays and Jenson the rep was fantastic. Booked anything we asked and gave us lots of recommendations. The catamaran boat trip through Thompson is a fantastic trip which I highly recommend. Overall great holiday and this hotel is Platinum with Thompson for a reason. Some minor tweaks needed but a great stay. We will definitely return to Santa Eurlaria in the future, just not this hotel as its adult only and next time we will have a little one to look after :( Final say on the gym (as I know this only applies to people interested in training whilst away - like me). The gym is ok, just lacks free weight dumbells. But you manage to do something. The spa facilities are great - jacuzzi, steam, sauna - and never too busy. I'd spend an hour each evening before dinner here to relax a little more.

Hotel , Is very clean and spacious reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms. very spacious beds two singles pushed together. bathroom spacious a good shower over the bath. Plenty of towels changed when you require. Rooms were very clean and cleaned each day to a very good slandered. we were on ground floor which we thought great no lifts ( we did not ask for ground floor). But no we were facing the outside dining area so no privacy. So could not really sit on our balcony. Leading onto the outside area, this is were you would eat drink relax at night enjoying the lovely weather at night NO this also was the smoking area all of it. We are non smokers so sitting on balcony was not an option as was eating and enjoy having a drink at night we always had to sit in side. The pool area was lovely as was the out side of the hotel were beds were available. Beds as usual was a problem as people putting towels on. There was a life guard on each day. As soon as she seen you looking for a bed she would look for you and moving towels when people had been away or not turned up, moving beds around the pool for you. Restaurant plenty of choice, and variety. breakfast was not great as sausage was different each day bacon streaky and fatty. chiefs there to do food when you wanted it however seemed to like to fry 10 eggs at once so were a bit hard. Evening meal again chiefs on hand to cook from fresh. However food was lovely but did not do much for me (my opinion). The staff in restaurant and the bar staff were a delight, very helpful always smiling, Katrina always remembered your room number and what drinks you staff keen to teach you the Spanish . There was about a 15 minute walk to the harbour another 5 to town centre. a pleasant walk. entertainment was not very good at all. Would i recommend this hotel yes. would i go back no. Out side smoking area let it down .

We had a fabulous holiday. The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the edge of the resort and is a 25 minute walk to the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean Not the most modern but lovely.. Our room was spotless with a lot of storage The bed was comfortable.. Good air conditioning and a minibar/fridge. The food was very good with a good variety. Restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. Pool towels - Deposit payable - Change Monday Wednesday and Friday WiFi - Cost only 1 device connected at a time Cons - WiFi and entertainment not great Would recommend and will return

Only a couple of times have we returned to same hotel the following year, no disappointment as excellent as last year. Its always rewarding when the staff remember you Diane had 60th to remember, Traveller again with Thomsons arranging a sea view room with the Hotel direct overlooking the bay on the left of the Hotel fantastic. Good location for Santa Eularia a 15 minute walk in on the flat, from there bus will take you across the Island for about £2 each way.

We've just had a lovely week at the hotel. The staff have been amazingly friendly. The hotel is in a nice location over looking the sea & next door is a fantastic beach club called Babylon Beach Bar. We stayed in room 1027 which over looked the sea.On the main road outside the hotel you can get get the bus to lots of destinations on the island. The number 18 goes to santa eulalia & Ibiza town. Check online for bus times as the print out the hotel gives is inaccurate. Pros of the hotel *staff are super friendly *clean (apart from upper terrace, the decking is filthy) *drinks are reasonable *rooms have bath/shower *decent size balcony *washing line on balcony *great view *nice size pool *courtesy room available *Thomson Rep Jensen super helpful *quiet Cons *€20 deposit for towels and can only change them, mon, wed & fri which is silly! *pay for the safe *not enough beds around pool area & people reserve them for hours before using them *entertainment poor *not a huge amount of choice for veggies at breakfast or dinner apart from the obligatory salad cart and pasta *hairdryer isn't powerful enough *no teas or coffee facilities in room
