Stayed here for a week 16th to 23rd June. First package deal holiday to spain for about 11years. Pleasantly surprised. Standard 3 star hotel, a little tired in places. Room on the 6th floor with sea view, beds ok, flat screen TV and very good maid service each day. Walls are a little thin we could hear kids screaming and crying early mornings, but that got us up for breakfast. Food was fantastic, plenty of choice and available all day. Drinks brilliant no ques at bars. Very good value for the price we paid. There is a little kids pool, main pool and quiet adults only pool (thank god). The main pool was very busy and noisy. This is more of a family hotel with facilities to suit. Location is great, quiet area but only 20mins into town on foot, bus and boat available as well. Little beach 5 min walk through the gardens is gorgeous. Only 1 complaint mosquitos!! A Lot of people had a lot of bites. Mine were from around the bar area at night. Probably due to the lush gardens, could do with being smoked out in the evening as I've seen in other hotels. All in all though a great cheap holiday. Would definitely return.

Again echo previous review how anyone can rate this terrible and give only 1 or 2 stars is completely beyond me. I've stayed in lots of hotels and this Hotel had many plus points and should never be rated 1 or 2 stars. Check in was easy and reasonably quick compared to a lot of hotels - The rooms are very spacious and easily accommodated all 4 of us (2 Adults, 1 Child and a baby) The cot was a full size one which was nice as usually you get a travel one but as there is loads of space this was very good. We had a sea view on the 4th floor and the views were amazing you could see the whole pool area and right across the sea well worth the extra money. at least 3 plug points you'll need to take your adapters just a heads up - Also if you need a kettle take a travel one, we always do as I've never had one as standard in the Spanish hotels one of the previous reviews moaned about this but why would you just assume you would get a kettle? The walls are thin as the connecting doors let in all sound thankfully the neighbours were ok just the usual noise you expect on holiday - It could have been worse though if you had a group of younger guests coming up late at night but we found no issues with any of this on our holiday which was great. The pool area is very big and lots of room spread out over the Kids pool area and then the main pool area - No issues with sunbeds even at 8:15am still only a couple of beds reserved in the kids area and just around half in the main area - I saw sunbed available all day long so that was really good. No issues with space lots of room. The main pool is a good temperature the kids pool is a little cold for my liking although it didn't seem to really bother anyone. I do think the lifeguards could be better used as feel they sit too far away from the pools to properly see and also at times were not focused on the pool but on phones or looking at paperwork. I would have expected as they use lifeguards for them to be more aware of what's going on in the pools rather than talking to each other etc... Food was brilliant so much choice and all of a really high quality - The cakes were fantastic some of the best I've had. Breakfast all the usual bit all done nicely good choice of cakes and biscuits as well for your tea and coffee. Lunch and Dinner both excellent lots of choice, show cooking, Salads, Breads, Desserts, Soups, Meats, chips, Pizza, Pasta so much to list all hot no complaints at all 10/10 - for an all inclusive the food was excellent and the restaurant was well managed. One thing that did disappoint me were the actual guests who wasted so much food made me so angry seeing all the waste, please only take what you need it's crazy people wasting whole plates full of food!! We went on the ferry boat to san Antonio very good value for a trip out - This is just down a path near the hotel. There is a shop just near to the Hotel selling usual bits very nice friendly staff work in there. San Antonio is about a 15/20 minute walk. sat outside most evenings there is entertainment inside from what I saw I was glad to be sitting outside no offence but I like to relax outside on holiday - They play music in the outside bar so this suited us. Overall a Great holiday, Great food, Great Hotel, Great Area - Highly recommend

I have read some awful reviews about this hotel so was quite worried before we went. On arrival the reception staff were really nice and helpful, we had a lovely room with side sea view the room was spacious cleaned daily, beds made daily and clean towels, yes the room walls are paper thin and we had 2 very loud lads staying next door who came in at 4 am every morning and woke us up with their chatting so loudly! The food is good with plenty of choice. The pool is very busy each day with lots of children also the entertainment team do games etc there. There is also a baby pool which looked very nice, As we didn't have any children with us we used the Adults relax pool most days which is lovely, we also used the beach a lot which is a short walk through the complex this is a cove which is lovely very busy at weekends as it is a public beach, the sun beds are expensive to hire 7 euros each a day plus 7 euros for the umbrella, so we purchased a couple of Lilo's for 10 euros and an umbrella this was great and latest us the 11 nights we spent there, they have a swap shop in reception and people leave loads of stuff there each day, you just take anything you need from it then put it back in when you leave, we left our umbrella and Lilo's, there so someone else could use it. If you like to have a cuppa in your room then take a kettle as they charge daily for one, the safe is charged daily as well, The hotel is kept very clean ! We had a late flight out so kept our room until 6 pm this cost us 60 euros but was worth it, There is a supermarket and pub just outside the hotel, turn left at the entrance of hotel and it's just across the road, We walked in to San Antoino a couple of evenings which takes about 30 mins, sunset strip is brilliant so many people!!! There is also a sea taxi but this stops at 5.30 So overall I would recommend this hotel for a cheap get away.

First and foremost this is the best family holiday ive been on and i cant understand why anyone would say anything bad about the hotel if you expect the ritz go and pay thousands you snobs!!! ( only negative was the paper thin walls, especially if you have an interconnecting room ). We had a lot of trouble with the rooms we paid for and we are a family of 9 and this could be my nans last holiday abroad with us as she is 87 years young and in a wheel chair , so after 3 or 4 emails to the travel agents and the hotel we requested a sea view high up for my nan and us all together as she just sits on the balcony all day and reads a book and we take her food up to her and drinks every few hours, but on arrival she was given 2 floor up facing the car park which upset her and we even offered to pay to move her but the hotel was fully booked, but we made some friends and they had late deals booked the previous month and arrived the same day and were given high floor sea view which they said they didnt request,so really dissapointed about that.we also paid alot extra for an interconnecting room with thompson so the kids would be next door to us and when we got there we didnt get this, just got a room with 4 single beds for 5 of us so when our 1 year old fell through the middle of us in the twin beds pushed together we explained to the rep and he managed to get us a cot within 10 mins. but anyway rant over, now the review!!! Firstly the food 10/10 huge selection of food for breakfast dinner and tea,i was just a gannet and had all the meats fish and veg on one plate :) also there were sandwiches and ice creams available all day and i found out on the 3rd day that after breakfast and dinner there were hot dogs and burgers available through a side gate to the outside area which was a bonus if you overslept and missed breakfast or went out and missed dinner. Staff were great 10/10 rooms cleaned daily and very helpful from bar staff to reception, the entertainment team were great with the kids and the entertainment was mainly focused on them, during the day they had numerous activities going on,only annoying thing was we got kicked out of the pool every day so they could do the activities. It would be awesome if they had the entertainment outside at night time as there was 2 groups seperated as seating was minimum inside and nearly everyone sat outside. Location 10/10 as it was excellent and out of the way of the clubs and noise (but a stroll or taxi will take you into town) it was wheel chair and pushchair friendly for a 15 min walk into san antonio along the seafront and a shop and bar for all your water and snacks a 1 min walk outside the grounds ,we pushed my nan who was 87 and my daughter who was 1 without any problems,if you get tired you can catch the water taxi back which was about 8 euro for my wife and i and 3 kids(kids free) but i wouldnt recommend the water taxi for a wheel chair as its very rocky and bumpy on the path which takes you virtually to the door step to the hotel. we had to get up every morning at 730 to reserve the beds as the germans were up lol reserving them but if the pools full its a 2min walk down some steps (past the sister hotel cala gracio, which is an adult only hotel that you can use their jacuzzi and other facilities if you want a bit of quiet away from our very lively pool) to the beach which has pedalos for 15 euro for an hour, sunbeds(bit pricey),bar and restaurant their too(there is a back way with pushchair access too). we would definitely return again. We arrived 17th June after requesting gluten free after hearing from other reviews there was no issues with allergies - WRONG - there was no food available for me to eat except salad and rice everyday (even bacon wasn't apparently!) after talking to our travel agency they settled with the reception that they could do a special menu (this just consisted of chips). The pools were nice with a good atmosphere which included games for adults and kids. The rooms were awful; bed springs popping out of everywhere, no sound proof with incredibly thin walls hearing everything left right and centre. As much as we had a good time walking to the beach which was on our door step and relaxing in the weather the hotel was awful for the price we paid.

Well I will start with the good points ... the hotel itself was lovely and very clean, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the rooms a great size and the food was lovely! This is where is sadly ends .... All inclusive is not all inclusive here, we required a kettle for the room as we had a baby and needed to boil water, this came at a charge, a fairly hefty 'by the day' charge. Every other hotel I have visited this was standard. Then we had to pay an extra 'by the day' fee for use of the safe already in the room, again something that has always been standard. Added to that the wifi also came at an extra charge, same 'by the day' charge as everything else! Some drinks had to be paid for also ... So as far as I'm concerned not all inclusive. Then were the other guests, now this is not the fault of the hotel, but be aware, this is not a relaxing family break! There are so many people that unless you want to be packed into a pool area tighter than a london tube train it's not even worth going near the pool with the repetitive music loudly playing all day ... so we went to the beach each day .... the Hotel doesn't have a beach so we had to pay for sun loungers, you guessed it, 'by the day' and then as we were no longer at the hotel we had to pay for drinks so the costs kept mounting! Finally, I have never been so open mouthed at some of the behaviour of the loutish families that were staying at the hotel, so much so that we often went out for the evenings to get away from them again incurring extra costs .... I will not be returning here and if you want a nice family holiday I suggest you look elsewhere!

We have just returned home from The Hotel Tanit in Ibiza and have to say we had a fantastic holiday yet again. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the hotel and pool area are very clean and the restaurant is brilliant, such good food and a wide selection to choose from. There are plenty of activities throughout the day for both adults and children and at night a mini disco for the kids and good entertainment for everyone. Also a big thank you to the entertainment team Gabri, Hannah, Mirjem, Vicky, Chiara, Pico and Raymondo, you guys are fantastic and really made our holiday brilliant. Hope to see you all next year. We have been to The Tanit for the last 3 years and have booked again for next year, can't wait.

recently visited this hotel with a big group of family. lovely views, close to a beach with a bar down there.. also food was lovely every day! room was a decent size for two adults and a baby. only dissapoitment about rooms was you had to pay for a kettle and we only wanted it to make our sons bottles, but we did manage. also have to pay for wifi, cocktais many other things. i enjoyed my holiday but would not return to this hotel.

Just returned from a week holiday to the Hotel Tanit with my boyfriend, this is my 5th visit to this hotel and it's the best I've ever been to! Can't fault it at all, food is amazing and customer service is excellent! Seen some reviews of people complaining about it and about the rooms but who cares if they are basic you're not on holiday to sit in a room! I would recommend this holiday to anyone, thanks for the lovely stay and I'll definitely be back next year for longer as well.

Very much a 3 star hotel. Rooms- basic but very clean, beds need replacing, can feel the springs. Walls very thin, luckily we had quiet neighbours but you could hear everything. We had a mountain and sea view towards the side of the hotel, lovely views and sunsets. Wouldn't want to be above the pool! Food ok. Red wine shocking! Avoided the pool after the first day and took a picnic lunch to coved beaches nearby. Worth taking the ferry boat to San Antonio which is close to the hotel. All staff friendly and helpful. Wouldn't return to the Tanit but Ibiza was beautiful.
