The best thing about the hotel is the location with the lovely beach of cala gracio right on the doorstep and livelier nightlife of San Antonio nearby if you want it. The hotel facilities, food and entertainment were all good. The pool area was nice and in late August and early September was busy but not crowded. We did a boat trip from San Antonio along the coast to other beaches which was nice. Also did trip to formentera with its fantastic beaches but the boat journey from San Antonio was quite long for young children. Rooms a bit plane but clean and comfortable and nice views from high floor sea front rooms.
I stayed here in the last week of October and i was the last to leave the Hotel as they were closing down for the winter. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend the hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Rooms were very clean, food was very tasty and range of variety to suit everyone. Both pools were excellent. Bar was excellent. Play area and entertainment was really good. I won't stay anywhere else in Ibiza. The reception staff was amazing, i have never dealt with friendlier staff. We arrived very early in the morning and weren't due to check in until the afternoon but without asking any questions they offered us the room. Same when we left, we were due to check out at a normal time but instead checked out late afternoon. Thank you from everyone there, really made my stay very pleasant and i will be back next year again.
Having read very positive reviews on Tripadvisor we booked the Hotel Tanit with First Choice for the last two weeks of October. Mindful of the comments about noise, I emailed the hotel a week before arrival and specifically requested that we were not given a room with a door through to the adjoining room. The hotel replied and said they would try to accommodate my request. After a long wait at check in, we went to our allocated room on the 5th floor, to discover it had a door through to the adjoining room. The extent of the problem did not become fully apparent until the couple in the adjoining room returned at around 10pm. The soundproofing was so poor that we could hear every word spoken. It was as if they were in our room. The man in the room had a very bad cough and as a result we endured a sleepless night. The next morning I went to reception, reminded them of my email and requested to be moved to the room I had booked, a standard double room. I was told that there were no standard rooms without adjoining doors available. However if I was prepared to pay an extra 18 Euros a day we could move to a superior room without an adjoining door. I declined, pointing out I had already paid for the room I wanted. I was told to come to reception at 9am the next morning when more rooms would become available. On the second morning after another sleepless night, I went to reception and again asked to be moved to a standard room without an adjoining door. I was again informed that I would need to pay 18 Euros extra per day to move to a superior room. After about 20 minutes when it became obvious that myself, another guest in the same position and the TUI rep were not going to leave, the receptionist miraculously discovered she actually did have two standard rooms without adjoining rooms available. The irony of this situation was that if I had actually asked for and had been allocated an adjoining room, I would have been charged an extra 8 Euros a day! Having finally moved into the type of room I had booked and paid for the holiday improved dramatically. The hotel is in a pleasant beach side location and about a 30 minute walk into San Antonio. The rooms and public areas are kept very clean and the staff are pleasant and friendly. The drinks package is slightly limited but what is available is of a reasonable standard. The food is excellent in terms of quality and choice. For a 3* most aspects of the hotel were very good, however due to the problems detailed above we will not be returning in the future.
Stayed here for 2 weeks in mid October, it was great! The staff are awesome, the rooms are great and the price was amazing, special shout out to barman Ivan, he made our holiday special, will definitely be back!!! Keep up great work guys, can't fault anything, food was brill, lots to do locally or loads to do in hotel, I highly recommend visiting here!!!
We booked an all-inclusive family holiday (2+2) in late October and were a little worried about the 3 star rating but we shouldn't have been. I have stayed in 4 star hotels that were inferior to this hotel. The room was very spacious with a balcony facing the amazing Ibiza sunsets over a stunning waterfront. The pools were good, the kids loved the kiddies play pool and the daily organised events were great. The restaurant was huge with super food although it certainly got crowded at times. The bar was good with great evening entertainment for the kids; we didn't stay for later entertainment unfortunately. Lots of parking, friendly staff and the back end of the grounds had steps down to a wonderful beach. Looking (hard) for negatives : there could be more lifts but I am really looking hard for negatives. This is a fantastic hotel and we would not hesitate to staying there again.
I loved it, entertainment was fantastic. All the POP were fantastic, especially Vicky and Raimondo! I loved the dancing shows that they put on. All good! Food was great and Bar staff were friendly. A relaxing getaway with the kids.
we stayed here on the 16th october 2017 for 11 nights the food was lovely and couldnt ask for better the rooms were extremely noisy and could hear people in the next room very easily which made sleeping very difficult. The entertainment if you could call it that was despicable very poor indeed also only consisted of one hour each night there isnt alot to walk to once outside of the hotel unless you go to san antonio which is about a 20 minute walk. There was one person on reception who was friendly which was a lady and the gentleman who work on reception always looked like they couldnt be bothered and everything seemed too much trouble when asking anything would i stay here again no im afraid.
This was our fourth visit to the Tanit having visited in September and August previously. Stayed for 7 days form September 9th: and booked all with Easy Jet holidays (excellent price) and very nice day time flight. Good points: Very reliable never lets you down, a hotel for all ages. Great food selection - something for everyone and the deserts have improved. Good pool areas with an adults only very nice pool area (two pools) a large family pool and a children's pool area. Clean hotel. Staff work hard. Good day time entertainment (French boules very popular) but its time to introduce a few new activities i think Not so good points - very few: Plate clearing in restaurant not so good at weekends when hotel is full. Full up in September this year (a good sign me thinks) as many Spanish and UK tourists looking for a safe and reliable holiday. Like all Spanish hotels the main entertainment is somewhat late for UK tourists this is true for all Spanish hotels. Still no proper UK TV channel other than some Sky euro and BBC World news - come on Tanit just one good channel please! (say BBC1). San Antonio is nothing special (shame) but its does have some ok cafes and nice boat rides) The good points far out way and miner concerns and i would recommend this hotel to anyone of any age looking for a reliable hotel with good food and great bay beaches. Do book this hotel if you want a reliable holiday - it wont let you down.
I was a guest at the Fiesta Tanit from 9th -20th October. I was given a single room no 757. The room was small but big enough for a single person. The balcony was right in a corner so had a bit of a restricted view, but at least it has a sea view However when opening the wardrobe there was a very strong smell of ammonia. I suppose I should have complained but I left the wardrobe open as much as possible and left the air conditioner on, by the following day the smell had disappeared. There are no tea making facilities in the room so take your own. The room also has a shortage of plug points so I had to plug the kettle in the bathroom. There is a charge of 3.95 per day for the safe. During my stay one of the lifts was broken the whole time which led to long waits. I found the communal areas eg dining room, outside seating and indoor entertainment room too small for the number of guests. It was really difficult to find a seat at times. The food was ok. I sometimes had difficulty finding something that suited my taste. As mentioned in a previous review some of the show cooking was undercooked, twice I had to take my pork chop back as it was raw inside. The hotel is a little bit far from town for me to walk taking approx 40 minutes. I made use of the water taxi which is close to the hotel at a cost of 6.00 return. I doubt I would return to this hotel.
Big problem on arrival, about 30 + in front of us waiting to be allocated a room (Almost an hour) we managed to get a drink but all the sandwiches were gone with no one interested that we had been travelling most of the day, it doesn't take long to get a few sandwiches made up considering the size of kitchen, we noticed this was a regular problem on a daily basis, too few staff at a busy time, little or no planning. Now the good bits, really nice room, spacious and clean (417) with beautiful panoramic sea view and to see sunrise and sunset was a great bonus, next problem was that there were only two of the three lifts operating all week which made a long wait every time. The food was of high quality, always hot and a limited but good choice (The pork - pulled and ribs got a bit boring, but was always nice, bit more fish would have been good) such a busy dining room but any used tables quickly cleared and reset, nice friendly staff. Bar staff at all bars were great, very quickly served with no silly rules. Its a shame its only 3 * so near being 4* disappointing to see so many guests rolling up to eat in the evening in shorts and beach wear, wish the guests had the same respect that the staff gave. One last grumble WiFi way too expensive, should be free by now, just should be paid for if you are using laptop in your room, but to summarize in general great value.
