I have just come back from staying at this hotel and although it says its Adults Only children from the nearby Hotel Tanit appear at the pool. The pool area is small and really peaceful, but sadly adults from the nearby hotel are allowed to use it. So finding towels belonging from the guests of Hotel Tanit around the pool before the pool is open is not very pleasing. I find it very disappointing that, I paid extra to stay at this hotel, choosing adults only, but finding it not quite that. There was no staff to police the rules either. It is a nice small hotel but be prepare for the fight for sunbeds!
This is a lovely hotel for adults only, set over two floors and the food is good too. It has no lift so you will need to carry your suitcase upstairs. For any night time entertainment, you will need to go the sister hotel next door which is a family hotel so be prepared for absolute noise with children running around without parental supervision. The pool area is lovely but you do get disturbed with children playing football with the ball coming over the fence dispite this being protrade as a adult only section for quietness
Having booked into the fiesta tan it we quickly realised not for us. The bed was so soft we both got up with a back ache. We did ask if they could change the mattress which they agreed to do and then just wrapped two blankets round the mattress saying better now. Definitely not better so we upgraded to the sister hotel Cala gracio next door. Adults only hotel. This was a much smalller hotel with only about 50 rooms. All good hard bed shower and jacuzzi bath. Adults only own pool and jacuzzi by pool. The only problem was the people in hotel ne t door the Tanit all invaded our pool. Children kept coming to the pool even with clear signs Adults Only. Smoking not allowed round the pool and once again the red bands from next door ignored. They kept going up to our bar for drinks and usually were turned away and told to go next door but not everyone did turn them away and would serve them. We had all paid a premium to go to this Hotel, the sun beds were being taken by the red bands from the tanit withno room left for the people who were from the hotel. The hotel need to monitor the pool area a lot more and I force the rules if necessary. We ended up paying a lot extra for not a lot more. Will never go back.
We have recently returned from a five night short break at this hotel, booked through Voyage Privé. As others have stated, the fact that this otherwise excellent adults-only hotel shares its grounds with the much larger, family-oriented Hotel Tanit is not ideal! Whilst we were there we saw only one occasion when a person staying at the Tanit deliberately "ignored" the Adults only boards very clearly displayed around the Cala Gracio's pool and took his young son into the pool. Not a big issue but, for those of us who deliberately choose an adults-only accommodation (and we have grandchildren so are not "anti-child") it is annoying. The location of the hotels is at very nearly the end of a road which leads only to the bay of Cala Gracio, so no real problem of excessive traffic and noise. Access to the Hotel Cala Gracio bar, restaurant, lounge and rooms is by key card so no "visitors" possible. Since this hotel is entirely all-inclusive there is no "option" for guests from the Tanit to use the bar, another bonus, perhaps? The rooms are of a very good size, though somewhat lacking in storage space, the bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped, the beds very comfortable indeed. The only slight downside for us is that we were allocated one of the few rooms within the building to not benefit from a balcony; I had emailed the hotel before we arrived to request a room with a balcony but, apparently, this was not possible. The food was very good, always hot and plentiful, and the (to us) novel idea of offering additional to the buffet items that were cooked to order, was very welcome. Another feature of staying in this hotel, which is part of the Palladium Hotels group, is that we were able to book with this hotel to take meals at other Palladium/Fiesta hotels on the island. As a result, we booked for lunch at the Palladium Cala Llonga hotel, that resort being our favourite on the island and spent a very enjoyable part-day there. Overall, a very pleasant stay, though I am honestly not sure I would want to stay here in the middle of the Summer season, given its proximity to Sant Antoni de Portmany, and its nightclubs! We have spent many holidays as a couple and as a family in Ibiza, most often on the east coast of the island so this was something of a departure for us; at this time of the year, October, very pleasant, August, not so sure!
Just returned from Ibizastaying at the Cala Gracio Hotel, small hotel with a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi set in a nice garden area. Rooms are very nice and clean with whirlpool baths we had a lovely terrace. Food is good and staff are delightful and nothing is to much trouble for them. Sadly the only drawback the hotel is situated at the back of the massive Hotel Tanit and very busy family hotel which was teaming with families the Adults at this hotel are allowed to use the pool at the Cala Gracio even thought they have pools of there own, this seemed very unfair as there was never enough sun beds for the guests at the Cala Gracio the guests at the other hotel would put towels on the sun beds stopping guests from our hotel using the beds I went out one morning at 8am and most of the beds had been taken by guests from the other hotel, I find this very unfair as we had paid a premium for this hotel there is supposed to be no smoking around this pool which is taken no notice of by the guests from the other hotel some who also brought their children when it states Adults only, There needs to be some supervision here, the guests at our hotel should have priority. Sadly I will not be returning.
Our 5th visit here and will be our last. The pool area is still over run with guests from the much bigger sister hotel next door. They sneak down at the crack of dawn to claim their sunbed in almost a military operation. The best part of the Fiesta Hotel is the bar, which is never over busy and you have a choice of good branded drinks served by very nice staff who have been there for years. The restaurant staff also remain very welcoming. However, the food choice in the evening is rather disappointing and repetitive . The breakfast offers a selection of cooked eggs but the bacon is never crispy. It is sad to report the bedroom was not cleaned thoroughly and we had to report ants and cockroaches found daily in the room. Also dust under the bed ,on the fan and general cleanliness was not checked. This was reported to the elderly man at reception in the Tanit Hotel , he as usual did not seem interested. Custom service at this location has much to desired. A smile and welcome would not go a miss. Overall , still a nice location with good bar and restaurant staff but room and reception standards have declined in our view.
just back from a nine day break at this very pleasant adults only hotel. Room large and modern and cleaned daily with fresh towels, only slight inconvenience was no mirror by a plug socket to dry hair apart from in the bathroom. Good food, staff in restaurant and bar very friendly and efficient. Nice little beach close to hotel but unfortunately couldn't swim in the sea due to jelly fish. Apparently this is a problem in this area. 10 minute walk into the main town San Antonio along Sunset Strip where you get to see amazing sunsets. Nice bars and restaurants. l Would recommend this hotel for a quiet break
We booked an all-inclusive adults only holiday at this hotel, staying for 10 ten days at the beginning of August. The hotel was very comfortable and all the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. The hotel has a very pleasant dining room. Dining is buffet style with a good choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to the buffet there is an a la carte menu (at no extra cost) widening the choices available. The rooms were a bit short on storage, one small double wardrobe but no drawers. We managed with the space available but some drawers would have been useful. The bathroom was a bit on the small side. The rooms were kept spotless by the housekeepers. The downside for us was that the hotel was located in the grounds of the much larger Tanit Hotel (both hotels are part of the Palladium Group). Check-in takes place at the Tanit but this wasn’t made clear to us and we only learned of it when we arrived at the hotel. Once checked in we had to negotiate access to our room through the Tanit reception area, via the packed pool area (inadequate for the size of the hotel), down a short sandy path to the Fiesta. The other major issue was the so-called “adults only” pool supposedly for the use of those of us staying at the Fiesta. Several families from the Tanit were using this pool despite being aware of the restriction. Even when challenged by staff they continued to do so. If a restriction can’t be properly enforced, why bother having it? We’re not anti-children, we have three grandchildren and if we had been holidaying with them our expectations would have been different, but this was marketed as an adults only hotel, which isn’t strictly the case so we won’t be booking this hotel again.
I stayed here with my sister for three nights. Was a bit wary of it being connected to the Hotel Tanit next door which is a dated packed loud hotel . However this was a real find. Close to a lovely little beach. The food and restaurant is always quiet and relaxing and the drinks are the most generous I've had in an all inclusive hotel and this is a great thing. Lovely little bar close to the adults pool. The pool seemed to be closely watched for people and children who shouldn't be there.. but it amazes me that people still try bringing their kids! It's adults only! Special mention to the lovely lady Daniella on the desk in the Tanit that you have to use to check in. She was extremely friendly and helpful about trips and local things. The catamaran trip to Formentera is well worth doing. Bus collects from hotel and food and drink is included. So a really lovely little hotel , which would be best not been linked to the Tanit next door!
The room was very modern as was the bathroom. Cleaned daily and equipped with blackout blinds if you're hungover,,,lol The restaurant was buffet style although menus were given out if you didn't fancy anything already done. More cheesecake/desserts required as these were lovely and if you snooze you lose. The food was good and well presented, plenty of salad dishes and the normal spanish cuisine. Cutlery was that clean you had to wear sunglasses in the restaurant. The waitresses, bar-staff, cleaners were all very well spoken and pleasant and gave the impression nothing was too much trouble. Beer - good, cocktails -good, G and T - very good. All Inclusive so you can get drinks/food from either hotel without any issues anytime, others guests can only use their hotel so queues are never long near the adult pool. Rooms are available for late checkouts and you can store luggage away until later. The only negatives was having to walk through the adjacent hotel's swimming pool area on arrival and checkout, oh and the grumpy guy behind the desk when we checked in (can't remember his name) but oldish fella. The other would be too many guests with children from the adjacent hotel using the adult pool area. There is a small beach approx 100metres from the adult pool area, which can be reached via steps or walking down the road. Don't be fooled into paying transfer fees through airlines to San Antonio area, get the bus or taxi as it works out cheaper if you are a couple. family of four. All in all, a pleasurable stay with good food and friendly staff, would recommend.
