Visited with 7 kids 4 adults, lovely hotel great pool, food was plentiful and there was something for everyone. Nice hotel would recommend for families. Situated in a great place easy to walk into San Antonio yet away from all the noise
Returning customer , thought we would do a short trip over the bank holiday . As always the food is excellent , fresh and a good variety - it is out of season and we are half board but drinks are reasonable. We are happy to pay for lunch and very reasonable prices . Pablo the manager is excellent and dealt with a small issue for us and the reception guys are lovely and really helpful. Well done Azuline .
This Hotel offers tranquillity especially in the gardens and adult pool area the family area is huge with plenty of space and a very large pool and playing areas crazy golf tennis courts basketball etc tbe snack bar is plentiful gym and sauna also good ...not huge but does the job! The only down side and issue was the restaurant food..not much on offer in my opinion very repetative and always seasoned with garlic and rosemary..lovely but not everyday on nearly all items!! Items on offer where very slowly replenished..waiting for basics like bread and chips..not good Im not fussy eater and will make do and I understand they will not suit all needs but dont display a menu and not supply whats advertised understand if a supplier lets you down but this was on a few occasions...... after the 5th day we resorted to eating out..not good when your AI...will return yes purley on the grounds and adult pool areas b only gave 4 out of 5 for the food reasons otherwise a nice stay..cassita here we come...again and again.....
The hotel is clean, food was lovely, had a differant theme each night. The entertainment staff were fantastic, they workied so hard but always had time to stop and speak to kids. The kids loved mini club! I liked that people couldnt pit their towels out until security opened the area. The down side to this hotel and puts me off going again is how thin the bedroom walls are! You can hear every cough, sneeze, conversation from the neighbours next door or the room above you could here them walking about, we were in the 4th floor looking out on the front of the hotel and yes you are in Ibiza but the noise if people coming back is so bad! Take ear plugs with you! The problem i found is the hotel has hen/stag partys as well as familys, the stags were loud around the pool and swearing. We went to gorgeous beach instead! The stags and hens sound stay around the adult only pool and the family area! Apart from that we had a lovely time, the grounds were lovely, hotel was clean apart from the smell of sick in a morning, suppose your stay depends on what stags are staying there when you are. If you can sleep through anything then you will be fine!
PROS: Great hotel more like a 4* very spacious hotel and grounds, food very good, pool area spotless, Plenty of sunbeds, 2 pools, good choice of all inclusive drinks & snack bar, friendly staff, great location ideal for all ages. CONS: Rooms & balcony on small side and walls are paper thin! More bar ... More » Top Tip: Reasonable Chinese restaurant to right of hotel doesn't look like much but food is good. Good cocktails & seating in the urban lounge to the left of hotel. The hotel has an option to upgrade to all inclusive plus which gave you access to the roof top terrace, garden terrace, better drinks ect but we didn't bother with this.
Firstly this is a very nice well priced hotel. Anybody complaining about late night noise whilst holidaying in San Antonio Ibiza needs a reality check, regardless if its a family hotel you are in the party capital of the universe. We stayed here as a large group of family and friends. It was perfect for the kids and perfect for the 18-30’s crowd at the same time. The food is good, gets a bit repetitive if you eat every single meal here every single day but we never really do that. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect for a nice walk into San Antonio main. I would stay here again with my young family, if i was with my friends i’d go somewhere a bit more lively.
Taken a while to get round to this review but all in all was a good family holiday but apart from the staff who were fabulous the azuline hotel bergantin was very average. Average food and very average drinks and extremely average accommodation (our room was tiny with an even smaller balcony) with young kids in bed early it’s not very relaxing sitting on a ledge in a plastic seat) Friendly atmosphere round the pool but the mad dash for sun beds in the morning once they ‘release the barrier’ is ridiculous! People were literally running and shoving others out the way to get a bed from 9am. But if you didn’t participate you had no chance on getting a bed lol. Sometimes difficult to get a table at breakfast so left standing about waiting for someone to leave. Although we went at peak summer and Ibiza is slightly more expensive for what you get for your money - it was still a pricey holiday which left you feeling frustrated when no tables for breakfast/fighting for a sun lounger. The kids club was great - usual in for few hours during the day and then kids disco. The adults pool was lovely and we managed to grab couple hours there when kids at club. For this I would def go premium but that’s the only benefit! Maybe shop around before booking this one!
Stayed with my friends on a ibiza holiday. Hotel it’s self isn’t too bad could do with some slight modifications. The room is very big can’t complain about the size, the balcony was quite small though. Rooms are fine however having no fridge sometimes can get quite frustrating when wanting to keep your drinks cool. The snack bar is fantastic. The food is miles better than the main restaurant, the fella on the snack bar could of done with a extra pair of hands at times there’s a line of 10+ and he’s running around like a headless chicken while there’s other workers stood around not doing anything. So highly recommend the snack bar. The main restaurant it’s self isn’t great. It’s like they don’t prepare for the amount of people coming in so you’ll find at times there’s empty trays and your stood waiting for it to be replaced. The food is very repetitive and don’t exactly change much each night. The deserts are fine they put more effort into the deserts than the actual main food. The “quiet pool” is spot on for the groups who are there on a mates holiday. Don’t get any families or kids in this area so it’s very relaxed and chilled out. The main pool is where you want to be if you have a family or kids. We booked the spa for an hour which was really good the woman was extremely friendly and made you feel very welcome there. It’s kept very clean and you are given refreshments on arrival. It’s defiantly a must if you would like to chill out and relax for an hour or so for €15 it’s too hard to say no too. On our day of departure we asked could we get a late check out which we was told no? This is the first place I’ve ever been where I have been told no to a late check out. So check out was 12 PM midday and our flight was 11PM so sat around for 9 hours in the lobby was extremely painful. I would stay again and I would recommend it to young groups who are on holiday with their mates.
Okay folks, are you sitting comfortably? My wife and daughter (15) arrived at The Bergantin on the 20th October for half term week. We were greeted with friendly, helpful staff, lovely room and excellent facilities throughout. We were really pleased with the choice of hotel. What happened on the afternoon of Tuesday (24th) was what can best be described as a 'freak accident', the likes the hotel had never seen before! The poolside Animations team were busy trying to get kids and adults to participate in the usual activities that took place around the hotel and pool area. That day was football day on the small pitch area to the hotel side. If you are reading this, you will know. After the kids had played, it was the adults turn for a kick about. I was in goal. A very competitive game ensued when the Animations member fired one at me from a few yards. As I went to save it with both hands! The force of the shot just about removed the small finger on my right hand! With everything exposed, bone, tendons etc, it wasn't a pretty sight, especially for our daughter (who plays football at a very high level for a Centre of Excellence) on the opposing side and only feet away. We were more concerned for her well-being after witnessing it. Must stress that the emergency services and hotel were fantastic throughout. Within 2 hours I was having surgery in Ibiza Town's excellent hospital, overnight stay and back at the Bergantin by noon the next day! This was, as mentioned before, a freak accident and I was just unlucky. The hotel Manager and his staff (rightly) looked after us all and tended to our ever need until we left. A special mention must go to Joan - the English lady who runs the Spa/Gym/sauna area - her care and attention was exceptional. A star. Also to the Radiographer from West Yorkshire who was poolside with her family, who kept me calm! sadly, never got her name. To Mario, from Rostock in Germany for cooling me down! Jenny and her boys from Cheshire for looking after our daughter while my wife and I went to hospital. Remember - Don't forget your EHIC when travelling, that's all we needed (plus passport)....would have been an expensive freak accident without it. Vince & Caroline Ryan, Darlington, Co. Durham
Stayed 8-12 October with a friend with mobility limitations - I had emailed the hotel months in advance of our arrival to request low level, easy access room if possible & whilst her room did have walk in shower it was at the furthest point from the lifts which wasn't ideal. Food - plenty of choice with a well set out restaurant. Highly recommend the abults only deck/ pool - very quiet & relaxing - just what our break was about.... Limited evening entertainment at this time of year & disappointing that it was squshed into the lounge area when there is a lovely large entertainment area around the main pool.
