Situated pretty centrally in the financial district of Hyderabad where all the multi nationals have their massive setup. Around a 40 mins drive to the hotel which has a silent location inside a large residential complex. Decent rooms. Well priced. Food is pretty tasty. Esp the Kebabs and the breakfast. Service needs a major push and it feels they are short staffed. Overall for a quick two day trip go for it if your work is in the vicinity.
My friends and I were pleasantly surprised with the greeting and accommodations at the beautiful Ellaa hotel. The rooms we had are actually suites with a large bedroom, living room, kitchenette and dining area. My room even had a balcony which was very refreshing. We found the rooms clean, helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of entrees. The lovely grounds were a great place for an early morning stroll. The prices are mid-range by American standards with luxury accommodations.
Good rooms. Average house keeping. In peaks when all rooms are occupied, staff not equipped to handle volumes and quality of service goes down. Stayed here 4 times. In room dining menu is good. Rooms have a good view. Good place to walk around the hotel in mornings and evenings
I booked a room for 3 guest and for 2 nights AND we shifted our room 3 times ..the 1st time there was a disturbingly LOUD buzzing renovation from right under the room and buzzing right through our pillows for which I asked to be shifted..then,they shifted us to a room with an uncomfortable joint bulge in the middle of a double bed..for which I obviously asked to be shifted again as we had a little child but we were told to bear 1 night ..n it was only the next day we were shifted to an oh-at-last comfortable room. The food was good and the hotel outlook was good...but it wasnt worth paying so much for an uncomfortable night.
Breakfast times are to late we had to left the Hotel every day at 7:30 am, so it wasn't prepared completely, offer of "Continental" things at the buffet could be much better, such as cheese, cold cuts, jam, .... Toaster not available. Would be good for one-night-stays, but have to improve for longer ones such in our case.
We were guests of the bridegroom and had no choice in choosing the hotel. It was perhaps taken because of it's proximity to the wedding venue. We were fortunate to be allotted a suite. The property itself is pretty well designed. The lobby and the bar adjacent to it was a good 'first impression' and one overlooked the rather slow check-in process, ostensibly for the room not being ready, (Strange, considering that this was a block booking for a fairly large group). The suite, too, was good at first sight. However, the hotel seems to have suffered from a lack of maintenance and good management. The knob to adjust the water flow from the hand shower to the overhead shower came off as I tried to operate it; the room was done up without water bottles and glasses being replaced; bath towels were replaced but hand towels were not, getting two cups of green tea from Room Service took an eternity. Most disappointing was the fact that the air conditioning in the bedroom did not work efficiently and made a continuous noise, and despite going down personally to Reception to ask Engineering to check it, no one turned up! Besides, the power did not go off when the key card was removed from the slot, wasting a lot of energy when the room was vacant. If one has business at the Indian Business School (close by) or in the Gachibowli Business District, this hotel could be considered as an option especially if one gets a good rate. But have a look at the room and check whether the basics are functioning before committing yourself. And do not expect great service and be prepared to adjust to a few flaws.
This one is situated very close to the ISB. The rooms are very spacious. The food is decent, with the in room dining not very expensive. Appearance wise, the hotel isn't that great; even the rooms are very dimly lit.
I have come for my triathlon to Hyderabad . And first time I am coming across a hotel that says they will be charging for the extra bottle of water asked for other then the one they provided complimentary . They should know that we don't waste water it's been asked only for consumption . No where in many of the five stars I have stayed this has happened . Sorry state of affairs .
Rooms were kept open when we checked-in. Rooms had a stinking smell of smoke and it was very uncomfortable to me (as a non-smoker). Kitchen service was very bad. Was hungry and delayed the service by 20 minutes. My colleagues have faced the same experience. It would be helpful can take strict actions against these mishaps
Vibration from roof -horrible Power sockets won't work ordered 1 fruit juice charged for 3 -poor service less buffet spread-breakfast I will recommend lemon tree /oak wood to stay rather than this .They offer good buffet spread & good rooms
