The Conciërge (Petra) scammed us with a rental car. Unbelievable experience. We thought that someone who works for this hotel can be trusted and give us the best sevice. Instead of that, we got ripped of by the rental car company they work with (Mi&Ti rental cars, TIHO rental cars, Rent a Hvar). Old Citroën C3 (with 80000 km) for 100,- Euro excl. gasoline. When we brought it back, they found a little scratch on side what was not our fault (happened on the paid parking lot in Starigrad or Jelsa). We had to pay 200 Euro’s cash or if we wanted to pay by creditcard we had to pay 25% more. We asked before if the own risk was paid of and they said yes but that was not the case. So we told the conciërge Petra from riva Hvar harbour hotel the story and she actually did not care about it and did nothing for us. So don’t rent anything by these Companies because it’s a scam and they should be ashamed.

The hotel has the absolute best position on the Riva. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is good and the patio club is outstanding. However, behind the old stone facade is a modern interior in desperate need of a refresh. Carpets were heavily stained, which explains the bedroom slippers but no robes. The paintwork had been a few rounds with Mike Tyson and the bathroom was very poorly designed with a leaky shower, an afterthought of a toilet cubicle and a trick toilet seat. There is no parking, which is fine given the location, however this was not clear on Hotels.com - a call to the hotel about 15 minutes before arrival is highly advised as Google will take you down a road designed for slim donkeys which extricating yourselves will take great patience and reversing skills. If called the hotel will direct you to the most convenient parking space and meet you. When first renovated it would have had a psuedo Miami meets Adriatic feel but is now worn to a level that cannot go unnoticed. Having said all this, the hotels location made up for most of its deficiencies and we did enjoy our stay. The people watching on the Riva was fabulous.

Close to restaurants and bars. The view of the harbor is amazing! The breakfast buffet was great and has something for everyone. The single rooms are small but clean and bright. I would definitely stay here again.

Firstly, incredible staff! From cleaners, receptionist to security. Always happy to see us, smiling and warm welcomes. Breakfast was lovely with a range of cheeses, cold meats and pastries not to forgot prosecco! The location, WOW. Beautiful. They upgraded my room as I was the hen - thank you ever so much. You really can't go wrong here. You step right out onto the harbour with restaurants and bars either side of you. You have access to the spa across the road, absolute bliss. Very luxury, to the extent I thought I was in the wrong place! I just can't fault this place. I would be lucky to come back.

We were a large group of girls staying here for 5 days and it was absolutely perfect! the location is ideal as its right by the harbor with nearby bars & restaurants and our yacht picked us up 5 meters from the hotel entrance! The rooms are relatively small but they are very modern and clean! We dined in the downstairs restaurant and the food was incredible, we accidentally paid twice (my fault id put it on the room and paid separately... we had ordered a magnum of Rose so i blame the wine haha) and our waiter ran over to us the next day and returned us the money (we hadn't even realised at this point) Excellent customer service! The BEST part of this hotel experience was by far the breakfast... WOW WOW WOW I can not explain how incredible the breakfast was. As an avid traveler I have experienced many breakfasts around the world and this was by far the best, strongly helped by the fact they include unlimited prosecco bucks fizz! If I ever return to Hvar (which I hope I soon do) I will 100% be staying at this hotel again.

To start with it was the very start of the season and l think this is important to mention with this type of hotel. It is on the quayside where the foot ferry’s and small cruisers dock so there’s lots going on.If you do choose the foot ferry crossing which is not expensive and plentiful, (prices and times on the net) you can walk straight down the gang plank and into the hotel foyer if you wish as it’s directly opposite. Very helpful staff,we opted for a room with a balcony which if you want street life is about as good as it gets over looking the outside lounge with the Latin beat in the background (which started at 7.30am) and the sunset was truly amazing. I must mention we only had two nights here which was enough for us, but we did love every minute of it though, the walks around the old and new town, cafes, restaurants are all on you doorstep. Breakfast, good variety and plentiful, which set you up for the day as they say.Room size, aah we have in the past owned a camper van and got on just fine need l say more! Decor in my opinion a little over done as was the bathroom losing a certain amount of practicability. Overall a very memorable and enjoyable stay but l would not recommend for a longish stay.

I'll start by saying that when I travel, I typically weigh prime location more heavily than almost any other single factor. If you're the same, this should be the first hotel that you consider. Location does not get any better, as it's literally steps from where the ferry drops you off and a one minute walk into the main center of town. The rooms are not impressive, but are not terrible. We had 2 rooms that were the same price and the same description, but one was about 50% bigger than the other. Others have said in their reviews to ask for a larger room, though it looked to me like all of the rooms were pre-assigned before we arrived so in the high season, that may not be possible. The included breakfast is also solid, which is a really nice perk. The main reason that this is getting 3*... the NOISE. Though if possible, I would have given this 3.5*. We got the sea view room thinking it would be a beautiful view... it is a decent view of the harbor, but if you have trouble falling asleep, 100% do NOT get the sea view. There is a DJ just out front of the hotel on the promenade and it's pretty loud into the night. Plus the promenade is high traffic in general, so theres a lot of people noise as well. Overall, I personally would stay at this hotel again because I thought the great location was that good and I personally dont have trouble with the noise. Others in my group who did have trouble with the noise said that they would definitely stay here again but would try one of the non-sea view room options to limit the noise a bit.

Absolutely loved this hotel the views from our window was beautiful and the balcony we had was amazing we were able to go out and come back and chill on it for hours because the sun was always on it definitely request room 309 you won't be disappointed! The breakfast was lovely I liked the choice of flavoured teas. It was noisy at night but after a few drinks you went to bed out cold not hearing a thing and if you did you obviously didn't drink enough and had a rubbish night. Definitely situated in the heart of Hvar. Make sure you go to Lola bar aswell great night in there too.

The positives: the breakfast is great and the ability to use the pool and facilities at the Adriana is perfect. The hotel is just a short walk from the ferry drop off point however the rooms to the front of the property are above a bar with DJ which plays until 2pm. So if you are not out until this time and want to sleep this isn’t a possibility - it was like sleeping in a tent at a music festival in terms of level of noise. We also heard a number of other guests at breakfast stating they didn’t sleep. We booked 2 nights at the hotel and then decided to stay another night in Hvar I asked the hotel to combine the room bookings which they confirmed they had however after 2 nights we triple checked that reception has combined the bookings (as room service were not knocking on the door at 9am like they did the previous day!) and we were told that we had to move rooms with no apology which was a faff! The rooms are standard with no tea/ coffee making facilities however the most odd thing is that the toilet and bathrooms do not have doors the first room we were in had no door at all the second a glass screen which wasn’t enclosed and was pretty pointless. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the price of the rooms.

Omg I have never stayed in such a small room. The bed is located in the middle of the room and you literally can not even open your suitcase because there is no room. It’s tiny. I can hardly even fit on the side of the bed. Me and my partner were tripping over eachother just trying to move. What a joke! Not to mention the smell of chlorine when we got into the room. The bathroom is TINY you can’t even put your toiletries anywhere. I just wanted to spend time outside to avoid being in the room it’s that bad. Very disappointed
