What a fantastic place to have a holiday. The resort was absolutely stunning. Plenty of restaurants and cocktail bars and all to an excellent standard. The hotel was fine bathroom slightly small otherwise all was good.
this hotel is well located, 5 minutes walk to beaches and to Hvar Town. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection is good. However, some things can be improved upon, like having only one little bar of soap in the bathroom, so you have to keep moving it from shower to sink. Very old worn towels, also during regular housekeeping, the trash can wasn't emptied out.
We came here at very end of season so we may have just been very lucky as the hotel was so relaxing and quiet but judging by reviews it is obviously very busy during high season so just be aware when booking. The hotel was so relaxing as the pool area was quiet and very well laid out. At night it was very quiet and people were polite. We got food here several times and the menu is basic enough but the food is excellent and very well presented. Even though the hotel is situated in a private area which is secluded it is still so accessible and to be honest was amazing because it was far enough away not to hear the town noises but close enough to walk down and enjoy. The staff here were very good and very easy to talk to if there was any issues. There is a little outdoor gym which was a nice touch. The hotel is very close to the stunning cliff walks which bring you by some stunning little bars along the way. Breakfast again was just your usual fried food and fruit with smoothies which was a nice eztra touch. Service was great here too and again the ladies and gentlemen who manage this area are very efficient. What i also liked is there uniforms. It is easy to see they are aiming to maybe attract a more younger and casual clientele as opposed to its sister hotel just a few minutes walk away. As the hotel is percched on a hill there is stunning views of the ocean and islands and if youre lucky enough to get these rooms be prepared to be blown away by the iconic sunsets. I genuinely had no issues with this hotel and would definitley return again. It would be interesting to see the atmosphere at high season as many reviews tend to focus around the party atmosphere. This is not my scene but it did leave us intrigued This is why it may be important to know when you plan on going and if you want to go for a peaceful time or want more fun. Again it works both ways as if you go during late september and october you may be disappointed not to find the famous part atmosphere. Otherwise an amazing island and an amazing hote. Well done
The hotel is big and keep in mind that it doesn’t have elevator and if you come from the port it will be necessary to go up by some ramps and stairs which is uncomfortable if you are carrying big luggage, on the check out we acknowledged that they have a paid carrying luggage service, that we surely hired upon check out. The breakfast is good but the hotel is packed, so there’s lots of guests. No room to stay on the swimming pool area if you don’t get there early. The bar staff was very rude to us and the things on the bar expensive. A coke costed 35 kunas like 5 euros; when we paid it much it was like 20 kunas, without mentioning the price on the market that is 7 kunas so it’s definitely a rip it off...but the hotel delivers what you expect I don’t have any complains about it, would stay again.
I give it this title after all the recent reviews causing much concern as they only started appearing after we had made the booking! We're a married couple in our 50s and to us, this place was absolutely fine to use as a base for 3 nights whilst island hopping. Room size was fine, comfortable and clean, good shower / bathroom. Breakfast was good and better than the norm for european; egg station helped and good filter coffee. Easy walk to the harbour meant location was fine. Yes, the walls are probably the thinnest experienced and I can see the corridors creating noise issues if the wrong sort moved in but fortunately, everyone behaved respectfully whilst we were there so no issues at all.
The hotel, itself, is nice. Lovely grounds, nice enough rooms. Front desk & bar staff couldn't be more dismissive. Had hip replacement in Feb and my travel agent requested 1st floor room (no elevators here). They put me on 3rd floor. Had to insist being moved. Went to bar to get bucket of ice to ice knee & hip. Guy at bar would only give me a glass full. Insisted on more ice and he was rude, talking about me to his coworker in Croatian not knowing I understood what he was saying. Place is up a steep hill so dont stay here if u have mobility issues. No fridge in rooms. Breakfast was good so was staff working breakfast. Stay away from front desk and night bartenders. I wont be back.
This hotel is in a great spot a short walk to the town centre. Rooms are very clean and the bed was super comfortable. However we were disappointed in the atmosphere of the hotel. There are no lifts and staff took our bags to the room but did not collect them for checking out. The noise from the pool music was so loud and when it finished the live music started! Breakfast was fine. The room was small and basic, no tea/coffee facilities or mini fridge. Towels were super thin. Hotel seems most suited for younger set and Hens or Bucks groups.
Pros - The staff are lovely. The facilities are good. The breakfast is good (especially the tea!) Cons - it’s the noisiest hotel on earth. Every corridor is tiled and echoey so all you hear all night is people clip clopping up and down the corridor. The walls are made of paper so you hear every conversation, every TV. The balcony is shared so you can’t even sit outside with any privacy. No hairdryer in our room (there should have been)...the smoke alarm flashed ALL night long disturbing our sleep - told them about it on day 1 (pretty sure it means a low battery or malfunction) - their solution - put a sticking plaster over it.... Pity, as like I said the staff are nice and the facilities good. Don’t stay if you are at all noise sensitive...
We stayed in a “superior” pool side room. I’d hate to think what the entry level rooms were like as ours was tiny with no fridge nor tea or coffee making facilities. Paper thin walls meant for two very poor nights sleep and the shower temperature went from scolding to tepid and back of its own volition. The towels were cheap as per a fitness first outlet. As you would expect from a massed produced buffet the breakfast was of very low spec. The pool area offered greats views over the bay but was marred by dreadful covers of terrible songs played far too loudly, think we lasted about 15 minutes poolside which is just as well as the sea and beach clubs are only a short walk away. All in all a very disappointing stay.
I think the staff was fun young exciting and always at your needs . Hi heir was nothing that I ask for that they did I not delivered in a matter time. The food was good the location was perfect and the place is very hip . Our room having a Junior suite it was great space for the two of us. The front office Manager Ines , was on top of everything and it show through a team (staff) . Everyone was so willing to help and share their smile. I will go back again anytime before what you pay for you get so much more . Outstanding . You will enjoy it . Until soon I will be back Gm & Mm
