The warmest and most helpful hosts, spacious room, bathroom and comfortable bed, great location and lovely breakfasts. Great value too. Highly recommend to all staying in Hvar. We could not have asked for more.

This high review is purely based on the excellent customer service. They have several different "suites", and our suite was the family style room (two twin beds and one master bedroom) in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet at night. The layout was kind of odd because there is a couch that separates the two rooms and nothing else. There is a gap on the shower door so the shower stall easily floods every time. However, we wanted to stay in a boutique hotel and this happens to be a renovated and well preserved 14th century palace. The service is EXCELLENT. Even though the hotel is quirky, the staff makes me want to come back and stay here again. The owner is terrific and kind, her staff is also patient and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We were met at the dock when we arrived on the catamaran from Split and they helped us with luggages and also sent us back with the same kind treatment. Breakfast was delicious, I love the patio area and the beautiful outdoor seating. I really love Hvar in general and this hotel is a terrific home base to explore and aids in the wonderful and well preserved history of the entire area.

The staff made our visit to Hvar effortless meeting us at the ferry and carrying our bags to the hotel giving us a mini tour on the way. They helped arrange our kayaking adventure and escorted us back to the ferry when leaving. Our room and bath was large and comfortable and breakfast included was tasty. Just know that you are in the historic town and restaurants nearby can be quite loud until 11:00 pm.

The location of Villa Nora in the center of Hvar Town might be enough to justify making this your hotel of choice in Hvar - but there are a couple of other factors as well. The rooms were nice, but the service was extraordinary. The staff went out of their way to be as helpful as possible with information, helping get luggage to our departing boat, storing our bikes, etc. The breakfast was also extraordinary with home made items. If you're going to Hvar Town, this should be your first choice!

We loved this boutique hotel in beautiful Hvar, helpful friendly staff. Home made cake on arrival. Went out of her way to contact the local dentist when in urgent need. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jams and a lovely selection of fruit. In an excellent position close to the square and the stairway to the palace. Very large room and bathroom with a separate toilet and a deck. Good WiFi connection.

From the moment we stepped off the ferry, the top notch staff of this lovely hotel gathered us and all of our luggage and walked us to the hotel. Natalia is absolutely delightful. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The hotel is happy to let you use their beach towels and a beach bag as there are a few very close islands you can visit. (I highly encourage you to do so). Breakfast served by attentive Rosa was also over the top good. The only thing that disappointed us was that it was time to go. We WILL be back!

This is personalized, not a hotel chain. So, great service, including walking us to a car rental friend for wheels to a winery out of town, as well as carrying our bags from and to our ferry. Very competently run as well as friendly; Natalie arranged to cover personal service with minimal staff. We spent two nights.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a few nights at the Villa Nora. From the moment we stepped off of the ferry in Hvar, we were warmly greeted by Natalia and Rosa. We were walked to the hotel and given water, juice and a sweet. The Villa Nora is in a perfect location to explore all of Hvar and we appreciated all of the advice of activities and restaurants. The breakfast that is served is delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hvar.

Hvar is stunning, so pretty, the villa Nora hotel is very conveniently located, very friendly owners & is very relaxing. We only stayed one night but so glad we did. The breakfast was amazing, will often think of it when back home! Highly recommended.

We were not advised we would be met at the ferry so we walked with our luggage to the hotel. They were surprised to see us and then told us they would have met at the catamaran. Oh well. That could be my oversight. The welcome from the receptionist was warm and inviting. She offered juice, water and a small pastry! Lovely! They did carry our luggage up the stairs. Thank you! The room was quite small and did not appear to have a/c. The windows were opened and we were directly above a quite popular restaurant that was very loud. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the linens very minimal. The bathroom didn't fare much better. The toiletries are an issue. You should bring your own. They didn't even replenish when they cleaned our room. We got a total of 2 towels for 2 people. They gave us one fresh towel when they cleaned. The breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. It's served in a lovely outdoor courtyard. The location of the hotel is great! No complaints there. For the price I paid I did expect a higher quality hotel. It is a bit tired and the attention to detail is lacking in many areas. The staff is lovely! They made it seem better than it was.
