We ate here on our last night in Hvar and it was just wonderful. The food and service were excellent. We had the local fish dish for two people and it was excellent. Location is excellent just above the harbour .
We stayed there for a night in the Junior Suite with Balcony and we loved it. The living room is tastefully decorate and the views from the balconies (yes 2 balconies!) are amazing. The bedroom is a little small, and the bedding can be made more comfortable. The breakfast is served in the beautiful restaurant downstairs, and they nicely agreed to cater to our vegetarian requirement.
Beautiful small boutique hotel in Hvar center. Our room actually was a suite with two windows witha a sea view over port of Hvar and near small islands. Nice minibar and great buffet breakfasf. Hotel sfaff is more than cool.
The Hotel Park Hvar was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Amazing views of the harbor, perfectly situated for exploring Hvar Town, and the staff was great. You may read about the noise and dust of the construction next door, or that the night club scene is a bit too close for comfort....nonsense! We had 8 adults and 4 kids in four different rooms and all slept like babies. Breakfast every morning was delightful. There simply couldn’t be a better experience than Hotel Park Hvar. Thank you Maja and the rest of the staff at Hotel Park Hvar. And be sure to take in a meal on the steps of Black Pepper, the restaurant beside the hotel reception desk. Unbelievable!!
This hotel is ideally situated overlooking the Hvar Town port. It is a little dated with some antiquated features, however this tends to add to the overall charm. Pros: If you have a balcony, the location lends a picturesque scene for your morning coffee. Just around the corner from the main square, shops, and restaurants. The garden breakfast area is absolutely charming, the hotel restaurant was great, too. Bring more cash than you're thinking you need as many restaurants don't take credit cards (this one included). There is complimentary bottled water provided and coffee/tea service in the room. Although I didn't specifically ask them to, they sent 2 porters to help with our bags and directions when our ferry arrived! It was surprisingly quiet being so close to the port, great sleep quality. I like that they provided 2 beach towels in addition to bath towels. Cons: There is no elevator, so be advised about heavy luggage. The front desk is only staffed during business hours, so you won't find any help with bags outside of this time.
I spent one night in this lovely hotel. I stayed in a double balcony suite which was wonderful. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the islands and boats. A negative was that one balcony was next to a construction site with a massive crane. It was rather windy which added to my anxiety when seated on that balcony. This is not the fault of the hotel of course. It is in a noisy area but windows provide perfect sound-proofing. We chose to not join the party scene but hung out in our room with our balcony doors open. It felt rather luxurious. The rooms are dated, I called it “grandma’s apartment” style. The upholstery is stained but clean. I thought the style was part of the charm. The hotel is very clean and bathrooms are large. The only disappointment was breakfast. Food was cold and a fruit cocktail my husband tried to eat was off. It was foaming. The clientele were not party people which was good.
Hotel Park Hvar is amazing. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this lovely small hotel while visiting Croatia. Rooms are clean and beautifully furnished. The amenities are great and the staff willing to do so much for each guest. They have a wonderful breakfast option, not to be missed. They share space with a restaurant, Black Pepper which is delicious, so make sure to dine there when in Hvar.
Absolutely the best hotel that we stayed at in Croatia. It's a small to mediju size family hotel on the highest level. Rooms are much much bigger than usual hotel rooms in other hotels. Cleanlines are on the highest level as wall.
Absolutely lovely every single time, but this was our first time during winter and it was completely different but great. Lovely staff, and beautiful view. Our suite this time was on the second floor with great heating. Town of Hvar is really easy going during the winter, it's top period to relax completely. Weather was actually really warm for winter period.
First of all there is NOTHING cheap in this area, so brace yourself. However, the money that we spent here for 3 nights accommodation was well worth it! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. This hotel was beautiful and the service was outstanding! Our room was perfect and cleaned daily. The beds are amazingly comfortable. Some guests were complaining about the noise coming from outside....Well we did not heard it to be truth, but anyhow this can not be hotel's fault....property is in the center of town. You have to decide what do you prefer better...peaceful bay outside the town or vivid atmosphere in center! The food and drink were perfect too - worth it; Park Restaurant is one of the best in are. Breakfast on a beautiful terrace deserves 5 stars! The view from this hotel is like a dream or a fairy tale! We highly recommend staying here.
