I believe this is one of the better hotels in Hvar Island, and its location makes it one of the most accessible as it is right next to the Harbour. The staff are slightly slow and inefficient but that's not too much of an issue. The room is very small, we had 2 small cases and struggled to fit them in. It also gets very noisy at night, as we were on the 1st floor and the street below is very noisy. The lifts were very slow and inefficient, so there was a long wait for the lift (as they are relatively small). Facilities wise, there is a big indoor pool and ample sun tanning space outdoors with a small gym and a very good spa. I believe the facilities are all good and up to standard - they aren't too busy as most people spend their time out of the hotel, The food is mediocre, the breakfast - I wouldn't say is top class but is satisfactory. Would recommend this place when coming to Hvar, as I believe its one of the better options.
The third time I'm on Hvar. All praise for the hotel and service. The staff is kind, special praise for a guy named Stefan from Serbia, from there my dog. Very kind and nice boy, it is real representative of the hotel. Good job people
had a room with harbor view...wonderful as you wake up...service top notch...spa top notch ...roof top bar and deck and pool...access to a fabulous deck pool...cant be better especially the staff..wow...helpful beyond belief especially Barbara and Anna at concierge...beautiful island lots to see and do stayed 4 nights could have stayed more.. pool of the pool deck but inside only negative..hope to go back and location of this hotel a must....
Hotel overall very nice. Location is great - right on the harbor and easy to get around. Breakfast was pretty good and plenty to choose from. Average room was very small - but penthouse was great - lots of room and big bath. Few negatives to point out: - Bar was pretty terrible. Gin n tonic menu is a shot of gin in a giant ice glass and an expensive mixer purchased separately. What results is a watery mess. And for 90+ it’s insulting. - Breakfast - shakshuka was completely inedible. Eggs were rubber - i thought it was the “demo” version they use to show you how pretty the dish is. Also sauce was peppery water - nothing like the real thing. Lucky it was all inclusive. - Condoms in nighttable - only had XL (need larger sizes) and they were expired 6 months ago. Not ideal.
Staff swears that the air conditioning won’t go below 21c which is inadequate with the weather here. Having a lot of trouble sleeping. Rest of the hotel has been fine so far with friendly staff but unable to resolve the AC issue
Very pleasant welcome experience (welcome drink, wet cold refreshment towels) and very professional and agile front desk staff. Rooms are rather small and tiny packed, making it difficult to use the bathroom at the same time as a couple. The best features of this hotel is its location with the beautiful views towards the Hvar bay, especially from the recently beutifully redocorated rooftop bar. And the SPA is very spatious with nice indoor pool and terrace for a good relax.
Stayed here for 3 nights , quite expensive room rate for summer time , room is ok for such a rate but receptionist was not so welcoming when I first checked in . Am very impressed by the extremely good service of staff member called Nebojsa Duric at the Val Marina restaurant . When I had my breakfast there, Nebojsa clearly explained to me what I could pick from their breakfast menu and had kindly offered me different drinks n food options. We had a brief chat about Hvar and other Croatia cities. Nebojsa is very helpful and friendly and is able to make his guests feeling welcomed .
We accidentally set out to have a cup of coffee, the hotel is really wonderful, looks fantastic. The staff of the hotel is very kind, special praise for a waiter named Stefan,a very nice boy,has a very nice smile. Coffee was great. All recommendations,we will be back to safe again.
We stayed only one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The service was unbeatable - refreshing cool towel upon arrival, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and smiling staff. We showed up early and the front desk team went out of their way to find us a room that was available so we could drop off our luggage and explore the island. Barbara, the concierge, made some fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. We did not dine in the restaurant, but had a cocktail after dinner in the rooftop lounge. It is one of the best views of the harbour in Hvar. The only reason for the 4 star rating was the value; although a wonderful experience it was very expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in throughout Croatia that were almost as good. The staff around the rooftop pool were just OK. Not very attentive, and we had to go up to the bar for drinks once or twice. But these are minor issues and we would still highly recommend the hotel to those that don't mind the splurge.
Had a great experience with this hotel. The waiters at the restaurant were amazing, the pool, spa, etc. just incredible!!! Beside the views toward the bay, the main plaza is 5 minutes away. Would recommend this hotel 100%
