Disappointing

The big luxury hotel is not luxury anymore. they did not clean our rooms, the pool was full of sand and did not get cleaned. There was a lak of food at the morning buffet. And there was missing towels in the rooms. The price is way over the rate of the currently hotel situation.

Overpriced hotel

The staff is very friendly except their porter who complained theat our suitcases are too heavy when he had to carry them - the hotel is situated in an old building and one must climb 5 steps to get to the elevator. The hallways are dark and light bulbs were missing in the chandeliers - we hardly could find the key hole to get into our room - you get the feeling of staying in a spooky old castle; the gym equipment is old and literally every machine was defective - we couldn't use it - the Pool and Sauna areas are however great; the rooms are also old - the matress was extremely hard and the air condition barely works - however the room was clean - there is no business center available - the breakfast was ok (nothing earthsahaking) but fine and staff in the breakfast room was very attentive and polite - the price was not justified!

Excellent Hotel based in a converted old school. The charm of the building has not been compromised and it is only enhanced by the courteous and helpful staff. We had no language problems and enjoyed our stay immensely. This was our 5th stay at this hotel. Bring a swimming costume as the pool should not be missed!

had a ex smoker room under my room was the kitchen... noisy, smelling air condiitioning not really working wifi not working at all unfriendly, unprofessional staff (one exeption) bar closes at 10 pm. no way to order a beer at 5 to 10

Rummet var utomordentligt bra, ljust och rent. Loungen var stilfull och vacker. Tyvärr vard den mörk, få lampor var tända och det utannonserade ”kaffe med kaka” fanns inte tillgängligt, det fick vi be om som personalen med viss tveksamhet serverade. Personalen var inte serviceminded, behandlade gästerna, oss, som luft, ett beteende vi aldrig tidigare varit med om i Tyskland. Personalen hälsade inte när vi gick förbi receptionen, varken när vi kom in eller gick ut. Spa avdelningen behöver ett ”ansiktslyft” i övrigt mkt vackert där simhallen var belägen. Frukosten var riklig och god. Den personal som arbetade där var trevlig och såg till att faten var påfyllda. Mkt synd att den övriga personalen förstörde helhetsintrycket, de fanns ingen trivsel eller glädje i hotellet som kändes mörk både ute vid ingången och i själva loungen. Med rätt ledarskap kan detta hotell bli femstjärnigt på riktigt och inte bara i en broschyr.
