Unfortunately we arrived in stormy cold weather. As a door and 2 windows couldn't be closed properly, we found the cottage cold and draughty, with a very cramped bathroom.The country setting is very nice and private though.

Stunning little farm cottage with everything we could want. Shower pressure GREAT, bed VERY comfortable, location only 4 minutes drive to the 50km city sign. Aircon worked great. The only concern being dog friendly was the section is not fully fenced.

House Hunting in New ymouth
Lovely quiet place to stay while we viewed properties with intention of a move to Taranaki. Great we could bring our dog with us. Clean and quaint cottage set in rural area but still only minutes from town.

Taranaki Hideaway
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is just perfect for two people and as a bonus dogs are allowed. Location is just right - in the country but only 15 minutes to the city. The bach is very clean, tidy, and well appointed. There was nothing there that was not needed (so many other bachs are full of junk accumulated over the years). Highly recommend for a couple wanting peace and quiet but proximity to New Plymouth.
