Renters beware. Worst host ever! Scam

I would love to rate our stay, however we didn’t get a chance to stay as the host just canceled our reservation as we were pulling into town. I tried to keepin touch with him a few days prior to the check in as the weather was not looking great. He was hit and miss with communication and would leva me unanswered for hours. He told me if I had to cancel he would refund me 50%. He never intended to refund me. Wanted me to cancel on my end so he would get the full amount I paid. When I didn’t do that he up and canceled my reservation and never sent check in information. Luckily I never canceled on my end like he requested or I would have been out the full amount. I was able to get a full refund from VRBO, however he never said why he canceled and left my family with 3 small kids with no where to stay. I will never do business with this host again.
