Budget hotel but suited our needs

A week of diving so didn’t use the pool area until checkout day. Staff friendly, room cleaned daily. Fridge and kettle in room. Beds comfy and bathroom suitable. Worked for us as we like to eat out at the Marina restaurants which are in walking distance. Nice coffee cafe for breakfast over the road. Would use again

The place terrible nothing was prepared when we arrived we had to beg the reception for shampoo But The girl that was there in the morning was respectful and helpful but there is on guy in the night shift i had to ask him many times for towels for the pool and literally had to follow him around when he was literally ignoring my request and at the end i ended up having “hands towels “ and getting told to leave the pool because its “too late” while there was another guy swimming they didnt say anything to him in addition to that i was asking for the internet and the guy that was there literally ignored me again Anyways it was a nice stay just because they have cats but other than that i would rate it zero not even one star Thanks zak in

Great place

The staff at Zak inn were amazing, the pool, and patio were a great addition to our stay. The only downside was that the water pressure wasn’t great and after a day in the ocean it was a little inconvenient but I would still stay here again.

A hidden gem in an unpleasant area

A hidden gem in a busy, not very pleasant area. Staff very friendly, pool area very relaxing. Room was large and shower was hot and powerful. There was no hand towel provided, nor (more importantly) any mat for the floor after a shower (dangerous), however they gave me an extra towel when I mentioned this. There were no hooks or rails to hang up your towel after a shower. WiFi doesn't reach the bedrooms, only in reception and pool areas (WiFi is generally pretty bad across Egypt). Highly recommend Coffee Studio opposite - the best croissants I've ever had!

Lovely little hotel

When I booked I requested a low room. I struggle with stairs. I was put on the top floor for 1 night as they had no low floors available. First night was dreadful because of this and I was in a lot of pain with having to struggle getting up the stairs. The next day I was given ground floor room and it was lovely and spacious and very clean. The staff could not do enough for you, very helpful

I was surprised with their extreme kindness and hospitality, very pleasant staff, the property is ok for what I want during my stay but it is very clean very quiet and many tourists were occupying the rooms, if you need a clean room, clean washroom and nice service in the city with a pool and very very reasonable price this is the place to stay. I used to be in 5 stars hotels all inclusive but never used the all inclusive things , so I decided to try this one but it worked very well and it satisfied my needs, many thanks to the room service Ahmed who I asked him to buy me lunch because I was tired from the long drive and with very nice pleasant smile agreed and got me lunch. Very confident that you will like the facility at this price many coffee shops and restaurants near the location and shopping centres. Please try and enjoy. Thank you zack inn staff for your hospitality and best regards.

Absolutely unpleasant stay

Absolutely not a nice place to stay. The staff is extremely rude and treats you in an extremely intimidating manner. The rooms are not cleaned, no hygiene at all. We asked for a room which would have more sun since it was really cold and receptionist kept promising but every day would say same thing that he has nothing available even people were moving in and out. After that we complained and he made our life miserable. First we left a towel hanging on shower and it got dirty from shower too being never cleaned and we were accused of destroying the towels! Then we explained that it was the from the shower cabin and there was no apology or anything whatsoever. By the pool we wanted to speak to family on the phone since this was the only place with wifi and receptionist came complaining that it is disturbing others. He told us to go to the room and speak but there is no internet. Staff was always rude with us and threatened to kick us out if we do not follow what they said. We are a couple in 70s who just wanted to peace and quiet. If you can please avoid this place because instead of relaxation you will have the most miserable stay. Rooms small and smell of mold. Towels probably used for decades, bed sheets as well. Staff rude. Pool never cleaned. Noise around the hotel is really bad. Many flies all over the food and drinks. Mosquitos every night kept us awake.

Super Stay

Very nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Duty Manager Ahmed extremely professional and friendly ensuring my stay was perrfect. Great location with bars,shops,and Restaurants close-by. Beautiful swimming pool and gardens. Look forward to my next stay. Busy location but quiet bedrooms for sleeping well.

Overall nice and pleasant. Just some problems have to be solved and it would be 5 star from me. Toilet low flush,and no ventillation in it, so loud airconditioner in the room and enourmus and old, dirty floor, few water and just warm from bath, and bathdoors doesnt works. But staff is kind and good view from room. Should have some drinks and sandwiches too and breakfast and other material surrounding the pool cose the brick more than hot like walking on fire. Nice calm music around the pool. Free pin-pong and billiard cool idea. Would be nice if can be avaiable the pool around midnight and they have gates with net but no appropiate ball. (They went to buy one maybe now they have already.)

This is a very good place to stay in Hurghada. The amenities, like coffee and breakfast and other meals are available, less than a minute walk from the hotel. Zak Inn is a bargain.
