On arrival made to feel very welcome, this continued throughout our stay. Staff very helpful, table service excellent, the hotel, room, swimming pool,beach area and restaurants all kept very clean. Daily room service, mini bar topped with water daily. Plenty of choice in Restaurants. Late check out allowed us to enjoy our last day. Staff did not linger for a tip which we found refreshing. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, 1 with slides which kids and adults alike enjoyed, the other is a quieter pool with no entertainment. Giving the best of both in the same hotel. Only negative point is the lack of lift and many stairs. However we made a point of not forgetting anything when we left the room in the morning.
We have just come back from a weeks holiday and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. We ate at the Mexican which was lovely, also Gamilla which was really nice to. We didn't rate the Italian very much as was only pizza that was Italian. We ate at the hotel next door which was good food as we found ours to be quite the same most nights. The pools are lovely and we enjoyed the beach. What we did find was our cleaner wasn't very good, he never changed the glasses in bathroom, just left them with toothpaste on from when we rinsed, also when we made coffee in our room he didn't even change the cups just left them on the side for us to wash out and didn't refill the coffee sachets or creamer sachets hence why I have only give a 4 rating. I reported it to reception and they was suppose to send us some sachets but never did. We also wasted our first morning as the safe was broken and we had to wait for it to be sorted. Would we return? I think so.
The hotel was brilliant. All areas ae clean, bedroom was cleaned very day. Food is good. The staff are all good, friendly and helpful. especially the reception staff, and Boshra, Osman and Mohammed (red hair) in the restaurant/bar, we would like to thank them for their exceptional service. We requested a room not far from the restaurants etc which we received Only downfall was that we had problems changing money,large notes to smaller notes, bank available in hotel lobby but everyday, whatever time your visited said that he did not have money to change, had to use the bank in the Mamalouk Hotel instead, where there was not bother at all changing money. Also bar service in the lobby bar was bad, had to wait a while to be served, was not busy, and when you managed to get served only brought you a half glass. Would definitely visit again and recommend the hotel to family and friends. Stayed in room 2103
Stayed here with my partner Emailed in advance to ask for a sea view, Ahmed on reception upgraded us and nothing was too man trouble for him and the staff there, we got a later check out with no charge The food and drinks where excellent, eat out at the mexican, the Egyptian, the paid restaurant on the beach front and the Italian twice, could not manage to get in at the Thai restaurant which is a shame as looks lovely, need to book near reception Would stay again and would 100% recommend it
We were only here in Feb this year but we enjoy this hotel so much we returned in November and it just gets better every time. The restaurants are outstanding and the new one on the beach the Nasaya is perfect (even if you do have to pay it is well worth it) The Asian restaurant is also outstanding and thanks to all the staff in both for making us feel very special. Thanks also to Khaled the restaurant manager who always looks after us and all his staff are great. The hotel is clean and the gardens and pool well maintained. The only thing not so good as last time is the fact children are now allowed in the quite adult pool. The pool is now heated so we were able to swim every day which was nice. The weather was just right hot in the day and cooler at night. Met some lovely people and hope to meet up with them again soon at this fab hotel. Full marks to the staff when flights back to the UK were cancelled and the hotel had around 270 extra guests for one night, the staff managed so well and were smiling through out. We will be back for another relaxing holiday very soon so see you all then.
This is my third time and it really only gets better. The people are lovely, the animation team are lovely!! This time of year is perfect for me. Nice and hot in the morning and lovely and cool in the evening. There are many places to eat with lots of variety and the beach is perfect. People are very friendly and i feel like part of the family when i am here.sandra is the perfect person and will do everything to make sure your holiday is perfect. Ive been to many places on holiday but i cant speak more highly of this place. Easy simple holiday with everything you could want :)
We had an 18hr flight delay when coming home from an amazing week in another hotel. We were put up in the Sunrise by Thomas Cook for the overnight delay. All I can say is that I'm glad we weren't staying any longer! The hotel is described as '5* & elegant' on TripAdvisor but I would say it is neither! 3* at the best. The rooms (We were in block 9 upper floor right by the slides and entertainment 'tent') are old fashioned with fittings that didn't work, only one working plug socket to try & charge 4 phones ready for our flight home. My children were in bunk beds by the window and could not get to sleep due to the location of the entertainment. The bedding was awful with duvets that were extremely worn & thinned out. The floor tiles were loose and moved. No lift to room. The food - not much to say, apart from don't expect much quality wise! Same with the drinks, I ordered a tequila sunrise while waiting to see the rep and it was extremely watered down. After spending the week at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic (a true 5* hotel) where we were waited on by staff who couldn't do enough for us we found the Sunrise bar staff a lot less helpful and a lot less friendly. I can't comment on the pool area as we weren't there long enough to use it - but I wasn't impressed by the look of it - brochure photos are very deceiving! Obviously the hotel was good enough to put up a plane full of people but I wouldn't recommend the hotel as a holiday destination.
Me and my other half have stayed in this hotel 3 times now at different times of the year and it's just fantastic whenever we come! Sandra is lovely and the hotel is just great! The staff are friendly and helpful. I just can't recommend it enough! We love it here!!!
I'm writing this from the hotel a few days into our 2week holiday as there are a few mixed points I want to mention (a final review will be made when we get home) Staff- most of the staff seem friendly, reception staff all friendly and our cleaner seems very good evening fixing the lost screw from vanity mirror on bathroom and replacing a lightbulb before we had chance to mention it. There is one bar staff who works in the evening outside bar who is nice and helpful. However one who works in the evening in the lobby bar always seems in to much of a rush trying to get your order and rushing to poor them badly. Makes you feel you want to avoid that bar as a bit abrupt. Main Restaurant- on 2 occasions so far in 3days waiters have taken a cup of tea and a Full glass of beer from our table while we have been getting food even though we have left either a bag or jacket clearly at our table. One lunch time we left our bag at the table to get some food and when we went to sit down a member of the animation team was sat there eating his lunch and didn't even acknowledge me when I had to pick my bag up and find a different table. Also although the food is ok it is strange to have cheese at breakfast but no cheese or tuna etc. at lunch time all the other hotels I have been to have things like this a lunch which is great as I normally have salad and cheese then. Finally we booked into the Italian restaurant - no one explained the menu to us so we had no idea how many courses we were allowed to order. The food was ok, however I ordered the beef in cream of mushroom sauce-this came in some kind of gravy with 1tiny slice of mushroom on. Was nice but not what it said. I then ordered panna cotta with mixed BERRIES and whipped cream-this came plain with some chocolate sauce on the side. When I said to the waiter that the menu said berries and cream he told me NO and basically said I was wrong to me this is very bad service. I still have 11/2 week left of my holiday so I will see how the rest of my holiday is and write a final review based on that.
Had visited the resort in October with hubby and kids (3 and 1,5). Great place with a lots of activity’s, good food, pleasant atmosphere, staff are excellent. Have had a filling like all ours needs been satisfied. Animation team really good, in the end of our stay we almost new everyone. One day we had booked the babysiter for the kids ( for half a day), kids really like the girl- Nedeen. So I would recommend this place just take some extra cash us everywhere is a lots of tours and activity’s you would like to try and see. Will come back definitely!
